Heya ladies,
just sent off that article. It's not 100% finished and I am by no means happy with it, but it's presentable and will have to do.

Now, as every time, vowing to not do things at the last moment next time. I hate myself for it, I know it makes me produce inferior stuff (inferior to what I COULD do), and it utterly shatters my confidence. Why is it that I always end up at the same place, although I know it's so bad for me?

Rant over. Off to bed. Finally.

btw good to hear from you MrsRigby, and Lee too - you have been away for ages!

louisesh · 26/02/2010 12:11

Hi all hope everyones well.Friday again YEH!!!!! Weekends nearly here!!!

Hi MRSR , Welcome back *MEITA" and "LEE" lomg time no hear!!!!

I m fine everyone at work were soo happy about my scan , even had "cheesy chips" to celebrate!!!!!!
Feeling very tired again, been a funny old week!!!! Nauseaus intermittently again.Off for lunch see you all later

randomimposter · 26/02/2010 12:18

Hi just popping in. You DO sort of know when all not well don't you?

Took myself off to the EPU this morning; the immortal lines "there isn't an eleven week pregnancy here"....

Baby had stopped growing at nine weeks. There's quite a wait for ERPC (I was lucky last time as got "done" the very next day).

So sadly signing off from the grads, and at some point will get back in the saddle on the TTC thread.

Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies, I will pop back in to check you're all blooming. Off to cuddle my gorgeous little boy... whether he wants a cuddle or not! x

LeeWT · 26/02/2010 12:55

Oh Jollster.. I dont even know what to say.. except that I know so awfully how you feel..

how hard to find this out this far along the line.. I'm so sorry..

thinking of you all the time and if the other thread has become a bit anonymous and it wasnt too upsetting for you, you could always hang out here

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Meita · 26/02/2010 13:20

Jollster, I am so very sorry.
I was thinking of you all morning, somehow I didn't have a good feeling, was dreading your news. Want to give you a big hug now. Though I know that wouldn't help. Nothing really helps at this time.

Everyone, I always find it so sad when people disappear from pregnancy threads due to MC and they are just deleted from the list and leave no trace. I have seen on other forums that sometimes they keep a seperate list, sort of commemorating the losses. It could be like this:

We share the pain and mourn the loss with
Jollster, MMC w9/11, 26th Feb

What do you think? Obviously only if you feel good about this, Jollster.

Meita · 26/02/2010 13:37

In the mean time, attempting at updating the list. Cheepz, Effilump, MrsRigby, (hope I haven't missed anyone) please jump on if you feel ready.

jollster so very very for you honey. Nothing to say that will make any difference at all. Shedding a tear for you. xx

I have been checking back on the old ttc thread and there are alot of new faces and its abit of a dark place at the moment so let us now if you want to hang elsewhere, although viv and zayja and barrenb still very much there.

meita what a wonderful and thoughtful thing to do.

I am adding to the list. Brave enough to do it ... just. As normal my OCD has led me to do some standardisation.

How is everyone else getting along?

boodleboot · 26/02/2010 18:33

that is so FUCKING unfair Jollster. I am so sorry.

JOLLISTER Sorry,sorry,sorry X

louisesh · 26/02/2010 20:44

Congrats BOODLE X

randomimposter · 27/02/2010 07:20

Thank you all for your lovely thoughts, wishes and words.

Boodle so pleased you have that had that reassurance. Can totally understand why you did it. If I get pregnant again am going to employ a sonographer full time to set up in the spare room and scan me several times a day.... . Pah, what's money...!

I love Meita's idea on the list. Truly lovely. Wonder what the convention should be on which number it is though.... I know we say TTC#2 (or relevant number) despite however many MCs we have had, but actually I have just lost baby#3. Or is that the pedant in me rearing her head after a couple of years away from the workplace where I was famed for it... . HOWEVER you decide to record it is irrelevant really, I'll leave it to you to decide the best way; it's lovely to be remembered on your list - thank you.

I will pop back in from time to time I promise, and really appreciate your invite to do so.

Well it's been quite a week; turned 42 on Tuesday, one of my closest friends moves back to Australia after 15 years in the UK today, and then I have the wait for ERPC and then due date for my first lost bean next Tuesday. Looking forward to March this year!

Take care everyone.

boodleboot · 27/02/2010 16:45

nowt wrong wiv being a pedant Jolls. Sounds like a good idea. Take care of yourself , sorry it is all so shitty for you at the moment....xxx

i am finally feeling like i am pregnant as opposed to 'waiting for the inevitable'....the scan yest helped in so many ways, totally worth the 80quid and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I ejnoyed confirming it with some people this morning, who had suspicions but were too polite if it was just biscuits ha.

As the placenta has taken over now {i was shown that on screen} i am really hoping that the sickness settles down...haven't felt as bad this week and other than really tired am feelibng like fingers crossed i have turned a corner??

am drinking iced water by the bucketful in desperate vain attempt to not turn into a killer whale but seem to have a giant arse already....very about it....perhaps i should stop using the water to wash down creme eggs?

how is everyone else today?

OP posts:
louisesh · 27/02/2010 17:00

Arh BOODLE like you read my mind!!!!! I m too thinking of paying for a private scan been conducting some research on line and found somewhere that conducts scans for £90 .I was going to ask you if that was about the same as you d paid?????

I m fine still feel shattered and a bit "crap" at times absolutely starving but then seem to gat full up really quickely!!!!!
Soo glad its the weekend, lovely to have time to chill out a bit.

Hope everyone else is well

SamanthaB123 · 27/02/2010 17:12

Hi all,

I am so sorry Jollster .

Boo - I completely understand you having a scan, we are still thinking about it - my routine one will be between 9 and 13 weeks so I am waiting to see when it is first. You must just be overjoyed! That reassurance is priceless.

I'm fine really, I am moaning quite a lot I think. I feel sick all the time. I wake up in the night feeling sick. I teach all day feeling sick. I go home and feel sick. I'm sick of feeling sick! Food, almost continual eating, helps but I don't seem to like the sensation of it in my mouth. Ooof.

I will be glad to move through this phase...

LeeWT · 27/02/2010 18:21

I think scans in Belfast must be more expensive as they seem to be more like 200 pounds which given that I've been given two early scans. It is a whole four weeks til my official scan tho :-( I'll be well over 13 weeks by then.. If nothing else it's an extra fortnight I've got to keep hiding this in work! The paranoia in me says they know already between my abstinence of coffee and cracker eating!

Speaking of abstinence my dh is being royally neglected but I can't help it I just feel so crap all the time.. Much like how louiseh describes it plus heartburn..

Am on bedrest this weekend due to chest ifection I suffer from asthma do dr said to take it easy.. He would NOT have liked it if he'd seen me watching the rugby!!! What a match!!!! The lads brought it home big style - sorry England gals!

Boodle we have to make a plan to stop the eating.. I'll MSG you after my Indian tonight lol

hope u all having good weekend.. Meita did your article go ok? X

Jacanne · 27/02/2010 20:31

So sorry Jollster (((())))

MrsRigby · 27/02/2010 21:35

jollster when people ask me how many children I have I say 1 and 1 on the way, but privately I believe I have 2 children and another on the way. The baby died, but it was still my baby and I gave birth to it.

My DH thinks I'm insane.

MrsRigby · 27/02/2010 21:38

By the way, am I the only one who doesn't get morning sickness .

Cheepz · 28/02/2010 08:24

why wont my son lie in on the weekend??????

mrsr I had no ms with DS, do have nausea this time around but not crippling just yet

lee rugby rather got my adrenalin up - but for all the wrong reasons! DH is from south africa so rugby is a non trivial sport in this house - way more important than football!
