and of course any other ladies who have recently had a Big Scary Fat Positive and will now literally be counting the days to healthy babe in arms, welcome y'all

i have no idea how i am going to make it but i know that i will need handholding....and knowing lots of you already i know you will too ha ha

{Totally's conception thread got me thus far with lots of handholding and i love them for that....}

hoops - how wierd that our boys are both transverse! We really are on the same path.... I'm hoping he might have turned when I see my doctor tomorrow, but I don't think he has really, as I'm still getting kicked low down. Hope your appointment goes OK tomorrow.

lee sorry to hear about your Nana.

boodle - glad they looked after you and it was nothing too serious. Keeping everything crossed for you.

just got back from appointment and mini-hoops must have turned in the night because he is very much head down woo hoo , been told I have to watch it though cause I'm starting to swell and Doc found some protein in my wee.......

amy good luck with your appointment tomorrow, maybe we should run a bet on who will give birth first!!

hoops - glad to hear he's turned! I hope mini-amyboo has done the same. Not sure if the gynae will be able to tell tomorrow or not, but I have a scan on Friday anyway, so I guess they can tell me then. Fingers crossed!

Did you hear that? That was the weight dropping...

The scan went fine! Kip (kid in progress) was happily bumping and waving around. Everything appears to be where it is supposed to be and the nuchal is within normal range.

It seems that there is actually, really, a baby growing inside me . Is it weird that there were tears rolling, when I saw the little one on the monitor?

I can't start to convey how relieved I am.
Thanks so much to you all for holding my hands on this path!

That's absolutely fantastic news. Let those shoulders droop girl!!! I've been in and out of here all day checking for an update. So pleased for you. Love Kip!!! Hope you sleep like a log tonight Have got a big grin like the Cheshire Cat on my face.

Good news mini-hoops has moved. Let's hope mini-amyboo plays copy cat!

I'm exhausted. I think now that it's gone, the strain and tension I've been feeling are putting in a last effort to make me tired. Or something.

Just wanted to say that I've uploaded a picture .

I think I'll be off to bed soon. Thanks all for being there! It's nice to be able to share the highs as well as the lows. I think that people who have gone through the lows can appreciate the highs better than others. (Am I making any sense?)

Hi guys only got a sec so will have a proper catch up later. I'm getting induced next week at 38 weeks as baby is huge and midwife measured her at 9lb 6 today. Kind of hoping she'll come tonight.

Meita- glad baby is all good.

Hoops- glad baby has turned. Mine's 2/5s engaged which apparently is good for a second baby as they engage later.

Hope all is well xx

Hi everyone - glad you're all doing well! Can't believe that Totally is almost there - keeping everything crossed (or perhaps uncrossed would be better) for her!. I'm 27 weeks this week and still constantly paranoid - currently worrying about the bay's movements. 12 weeks to go but it seems like such a long time. Only 3 weeks left at work though and one of those is half term!

Aww this thread has got me all excited for baby coming

Had to go away today to have a breast lump checked out and turns out all is ok, the lumps benign. I was panicking about the journey incase I went into labour on the way but since we made it back to the next town we thought we'd stop for lunch and I began getting horrendous burning cramps in my back so we thought we might be ready to go... but then they stopped

So 7 days to go at the most. I can't seem to get hold of any raspberry leaf tea around here!

I will brief Mr Totally on MN

Got the phil and teds sport double today and it is fantastic. Can't wait to get baby and toddler in it.

Amy- hope scan's ok. fingers x'd.

Lee- just saw some of your posts about your nana- my nana was my angel and we lost her last year so I am certainly here to listen if you want to vent. I miss my nana soooo much and especially wish she was here to see my babies. She only saw my DS in pictures as she was in intensive care. It's awful to watch people get old and become so vulnerable and less capable.

Jacanne- I didn't feel baby move for 4 days and when I went to hospital they went mad with me for not going earlier. It was because she has too much water around her so I couldn't feel her swishing about. If you're worried, go straight in.

I've been a little sick today- think it's all these braxton hicks hurting my tummy and it's made me puke.

Keep your fingers crossed that I go this weekend This thread will hear about it first of course
