EwwwwwOOOOoooooOOOo hedgepig needles, lumps and such an insult Now I'm considering mine.....they're a 36E....so, yes.....how big are you???????

hedgepig · 01/12/2008 16:33

I'm a 36J which is a totally stupid size Jordan eat your heart out, but if I lost some weight they would shrink a bit.

johnworf · 01/12/2008 18:03

omfg

Tee2072 · 01/12/2008 18:41

hedgepig

hedgepig · 01/12/2008 18:56

Thanks girls , I do feel slightly self conscious now! Must go and put a baggy jumper on.

Tee2072 · 01/12/2008 20:01

Sorry hedgepig I think I am more worried that I might join you, from my nice 36B state of being! I've already gone up to about a 40C, and I'm only 10+5!!!

mrsboogie · 01/12/2008 20:28

well, I am a 38G at least if it makes anyone feel any better

hedgepig · 01/12/2008 20:34

Tee its fine I'm only joking. I was just totally thrown by the consultants comments.
MrsB I think we will have to name our next thread the big boobed 40+ mammas
JW how was K's ECG??

Tee2072 · 01/12/2008 20:38

I figured you were, hedgepig!

johnworf · 01/12/2008 20:47

hedgepig sorry if my reaction made you feel self conscious. I was actually in awe!

K's ECG is tomorrow but thanks for asking. I'll give you an update tomorrow night as she's having it done at 3.30. Fingers crossed and all.

Did anyone see the DM story re the satanic slut doing celeb BB? hahahahaha. It's all really a pantomime surely? I wonder what Rossy and Brand are thinking about all this? And her grandfather must be very proud of her

hedgepig · 01/12/2008 21:08

maybe the secret BB guests will be Mr Brand and Mr Ross! that would make very interesting TV.
I'm off to bed via a quick visit to the box of roses I have hidden in the cupboard.

jeanjeannie · 01/12/2008 21:19

hedgepig you have just had a baby....yer allowed big/huge/enormous (delete as appropriate) BOOBIES

My SIL has the most enormous breasts you ever did see - no really - I'm stunned when I see them. She's only a 32 - and they're a H cup

Off to bed with a hot choccy. Fingers crossed for a couple of hours kip! Wish I'd had the brains to hide a box of Roses in the cupboard....

ladymac · 01/12/2008 23:21

Hi all, just a quickie as I really should be asleep - have 21 week scan at 9am tomorrow.

Have not been able to get on internet all weekend so am just catching up now. hedgepig am in awe of your nice big pillows. I thought mine were a good size at 34FF.

tee have you been measured? Cos your back size should not be changing only your cup size.

Sorry I missed your cookery call JJ, hope your shanks were tasty.

Hope everybody else ok. Good luck to Katherine for tomorrow xxx

mrsboogie · 02/12/2008 00:18

good luck to you tomorrow ladymac hope all is well with your little one and you have a lovely scan.

OP posts:
Tee2072 · 02/12/2008 07:37

ladymac yes I have been measured. I'm expanding all over!

jeanjeannie · 02/12/2008 08:05

Morning all - SLEEP NEWS!!! Yes, sleep - I got sleep Verity woke once - DP saw to her and she went off like a light and it's almost 8am - and she's still snoring......*leaps in air for joy!

ladymac OOooo - blimey 21 weeks - that feels as though it's shot round. Have a lovely time seeing your LO PS. The lamb shanks were fan'bloomin'tastic. I even made my own Harrissa paste [smug Nigella emoticon] I shall add them to my repertoire! Anyone see that woman on the programme Indian food Made Easy (on last night) I want to wake up and look like her - Myself and DP think we both may have a crush on her AND I soooo wanted a scarf she was wearing!!

JW is it this afternoon that you've got your cross-city appointments? Good luck - I soo hope you get the news you need to hear

That's reminded me. We have Great Ormond Street next Tues - we'll also be finding out if Iris needs an op (soft lump on forehead and eyelid folds closing in on her eye) - nowhere near as scary as what you're going through but I can go some small way to understanding the stress. Lovely place GOSH but you just don't want to be there.

tee how you feeling today luvvie?

MIL has Iris today - I may go to Yo! Sushi......cos I can!! Iris like to chase the food on the conveyor belt - sends her a bit loopy, so with just Verity in tow I can eat while she snoozes And I have discount voucher - pleasing!

Tee2072 · 02/12/2008 08:09

JJ Yayaya sleep!

I'm feeling some better, because I actually slept from about 10 all the way to 4:30ish, when DH got up to use the loo and then fell back to sleep until 7:30!! I really do think I'll be able to get back to work on Monday.

I certainly hope so, because I found out yesterday that my boss is in the hospital with a kidney infection. YIKES! That means that 50% of the administration team is out of the office. I have no idea who is going to cover taking minutes for the Board Meeting on Thursday, but I am scared it might be the CEO and then I'll never be able to type them!

johnworf · 02/12/2008 08:30

JJ so pleased that you finally managed a block of sleep longer than 2 hours! Holy Moly...Verity has given you a reprieve

Yep, her two hospital appointments are today. And guess what? It's effing snowed during the night....white everywhere Does not bode well for cross city traversing. Hopefully it'll have gone by lunchtime (fingers crossed).

Indeedy, this time around I've not worried myself sick over the outcome of second appointment. What will be will be and nothing I think will stop it. I'll no doubt get the awful feeling in the pit of my stomach in the car on the way there though.

Poor Iris. Hadn't realised she might be in the running for an op as well Do so hope that she also manages to avoid it.

Talking of ops, we have had the appointment through for DSS to have his tooth out in hospital while he's put to sleep. (it's an awkward extraction of a 'soft' tooth). ON THE FREAKIN 19th Dec!!!! Shite. Hope he's over it for xmas. Ho hum.

(mutters 'sent to try us' under her breath).

Anyway, laters ladies. Orders etc.

johnworf · 02/12/2008 10:19

I've cancelled K's ECG appointment this afternoon as the roads are too treacherous with the snow/traffic. So, just a jab in the leg for the baby at the back

mrsboogie · 02/12/2008 10:35

mornin' all

don't blame you jw it'll keep!

has snowed a bit here and is a bit slippery apparently - wouldn't know personally as we are stuck indoors all week waiting for deliveries of curtains, chairs and all sorts. Oh and a new digital camera as we didn't have one and am fed up taking pics of the little man with a phone.

D played up all day yesterday, refused to take his bottle unless being held by someone stood up and walking around only slept for minutes at a time, am a bit worried I am going to end up with one arm like Arnie as I was laid in bed last night bouncing the Amby for an hour (again) and now have sore muscles in one arm

OP posts:
ladymac · 02/12/2008 10:40

Wow jj how wonderful you got a decent night's sleep. Is there a name for Iris' lump? I ask as we too are under Great Ormond St as Elizabeth was born with a large lump (cystic hygroma) on her neck. It has shrunk an awful lot thankfully as they thought it would require surgery. The other treatment would have been to inject it with some weird Japanese bacteria (!) to shrink it, though this still would have meant a general anaesthetic. Funnily enough, they think all her throat and ear infections have done what this bacteria would have done, so in essence her body has healed itself Now they are just monitoring it every 6 months. BTW, am very impressed that you made your own harissa. Enjoy your lunch and have some sushi for me!

All well with the scan so now just hoping all carries on as boringly as it has been so far. The estimated weight of the baby is 457g, which in old money I think is about a pound. It made me think of Katherine johnworf, how much did she weigh at birth?

Liking your wallpaper mrsboogie. Will you be putting it up yourself or are you getting a man in?

mrsboogie · 02/12/2008 10:49

good news ladymac yes, there's surely nothing better than a boring pregnancy! here's wishing you continuing eventfulness ('til the very end obviously)

ehm, well wallpapering, yes can't afford to get a man in - we are spent out on building work and furniture etc. Original plan was for OH to do it but having had a go at putting up some lining paper last night it now looks as if it will be his dad doing it (a dab hand, apparently)

OP posts:
ladymac · 02/12/2008 10:55

Sounds like a good idea jw. will you have to wait long to get another appt? No snow here, just an icy windscreen this morning which due to the lack of a proper implement we had to scrape off with a tin of mints

Poor you mrsschwarzenegger. Perhaps you ought to use the other arm tonight so you can build up your muscles both sides!

mrsboogie · 02/12/2008 12:03

ooops meant uneventfulness ladymac

OP posts:
johnworf · 02/12/2008 12:11

haha@ladymac. Loving the mint scrapers!

Not sure how long we'll have to wait for next appointment as they said they'd send it through the post. If it's xmas week then they can forget it! No way am I having awful operation news looming over xmas period.

Katherine weighed 685g at birth ladymac and apparently that was a really good weight for her gestation (due to the GD probably).

mrsb as JJ gets her sleeping arrangements sorted, then yours go up the spout! These kids need sitting down and talking to!
