Anybody pregnant after miscarriage before 1st AF??

Hi All

Well I'm 7 + 2. Only had my ERPC 10 weeks ago. I had no clue I was pregnant until last Wednesday. I went to the doctor fearing that something wasn't right after ERPC, been having pain and a test still showed positive. She took bloods which revealed that I pregnant, but she put me straight to hospital regarding the pain (thinking it was eptopic). I got put for a scan and got the shock of my life when they said that I was pregnant again and that I was 6+2. Now the thing was, I felt I was being really responsible after the ERPC. I did NOT have unprotected sex (always used condoms), I had my first period 6 weeks after the ERPC, which was infact not a period and I bled two weeks ago for one day only. Last week my Hcg levels were 10,000. Thinking I may have bled due to all the crap my body had been through. I've been so worried that I've fallen pregnant too quickly and its all going to happen over again. Thankfully the hospital have been great and are taking me for another scan a week today to see if they can detect a heartbeat, but obviously I'm not hopeful. I've had constant really strong period pains and every website I go on says that you should defininitely wait for at least one period before falling pregnant. I feel that if I lose this one, I've set myself up for a fall. Obviously the condom burst on us, but I had no idea, we've hardly ever used these as I had always been on the pill. I guess I just wanted to know if this has happend to anybody else and if they managed to get a baby at the end of it.

Hi I'm just looking for some answers as i am abit lost. I had my miscarriage last Thursday 16th /08 day time, pretty much everything came out over 3/4 hours sorry TMI, the thing is a stopped bleeding just had a little brown discharge so me and my partner had unprotected sex 4 days later on Monday 20th , now i feel that familiar tugging on my right side again and i just dont know what to do. It's not hurting just niggling. We are set for a naughty weekend away from today and I'm just worried could I really be pregnant now? Or am I just thinking too much? I have my follow up appointment at gyny on the 30th and was just going to wait until then. Please help

@rincewind7 do you mind me asking what happened here? I'm in all really similar situation and I would love to know. TIA x

Hi Kathy83 I went back and got my check up and all was gone bar a slight blood pocket, sorry if tmi but I got my first period 4 weeks after miscarriage and lasted 8/9 days , i have had lots of unprotected sex before and after this, last one 2 days ago and currently got the ovulation pains so fingers crossed the bd we have been doing will take . Hope all is ok with you . Any more questions I am happy to answer, xx

Hello, question did you have your period even though you got pregnant before hand? I had my MC 5 weeks ago 2/8/19 , intercourse 2 weeks after MC as well as 2 days before period 3/10. now 11 days later I am having some brown DC as well as some pinkish DC when I wipe. I am so scared but excited, I dont want to get my hopes up. I am 39yrs old. Congrats to all the expecting mommas!

correction I didnt mean DC as darling child I meant D/C as discharge :)

Hi @carriedmonson how did you get on? I miscarried on Sunday at 5 weeks and want to get back to it, horrible experience but hoping it doesn’t happen again xx

@Helensss, I am so sorry for your loss. So far, nothing. I thought I had a positive pregnancy test last week, but when I went in to have blood work my HCG was only 2, so either I had a chemical pregnancy or false positive test. I will keep on keeping on though. I was really hoping that it would happen right away, I just ovulated though so we will see in a few weeks. Baby dust to us all :)

That’s all you can do is keep on! Sounds like you have the right frame of mind @carriedmonson. It’s tough, who knew it would be like this. I wish you all the luck in the world, let me know! I’m going to try and get back to it and hope for my rainbow baby too xxx

Hi, I know this post is old however reading it all gives me so much hope. I had a miscarriage last Friday (5 days ago) and I stopped bleeding 3 days ago. Myself and my partner don’t wish to wait and have started to do the deed again. I am so hoping I ovulate without a period. I also had a MC on 07.01.19 and we decided to wait. This time is different. I have the hospital for my last blood test ( I hope) on Friday. Do you think I should do a PT to make sure it’s negative?

Hi @Lindsay93 sorry I didn’t see this message, how have you got on? I had my 2nd miscarriage beginning of August and have just found out I’m pregnant again so happened without period. Naturally I’m terrified of what might happen xx

Not to worry, yes I found out I am pregnant I am 6 weeks 1day. I am also terrified that it happens again. I feel myself avoiding going to the loo even when I am bursting just encase I see blood again. Brilliant that you have fallen so quick again. The only thing keeping me going this time round if all fails again is this time we will get checked. Xx

Oh no!! Fingers crossed it’s nothing bad and spotting is all it is. Have you called EPU? I would try get bloods taken just to be safe. Yeah I am all good thank you feeling a bit yucky today but other than that all good.. xx

@lindsay93 no I can’t call epu direct in my area but I’ve managed to get a dr appointment at 9.10.
I know it’s normal and I wouldn’t worry if I hadn’t had the other experiences but I’m hoping it’s just nothing. Glad you’re all good xx

Spotting stopped and got a 2-3 pregnant on clear blue yesterday! Phew! Xx

I have really enjoyed reading this thread, it’s helped me a lot. I fell pregnant in September with my first and I was over the moon. Miscarried September 24th - then the doctor said try to wait until your next cycle to conceive but I got her permission to have sex etc - anyway had sex the first time October 6th and 7th and I guess a few days here and there after that, as you do. Then October 21st I did a test - a clear blue one and said 1-2 weeks positive :) which is awesome I just want to know now, how is the way to find out how far along I am/due date? Thanks again for these posts, you give me hope and make me feel normal for being nervous for every single ache and pain here and there. Thank you all, good luck to all of you.

@AmeliaRass hey and congrats! How are you getting on? I worked it out as I knew roughly when I ovulated due to ewcm and so I added 2 weeks before that. When I went to my scan turns out I was actually only 2 days out by my calculations! I had a panic yesterday as had some bright red spotting at 13 weeks so have a scan booked for tomorrow to check all ok x

Sorry I know this is an old thread! I miscarried our first pregnancy almost 5 weeks ago now, at 7 weeks, we began doing the deed again pretty much as soon as I stopped bleeding. I had a negative test two weeks after the miscarriage, tested as hosp asked me to to confirm pregnancy was fully ended. I've just this last week or two been having some of the symptoms I was having when I was pregnant, nausea, sore nipples, absolutely freezing cold all the time, hungry all the time. Could I be pregnant? I would so love to fall quickly, but so anxious. Reading the posts on here have given me some hope though!
When should I be thinking about doing a test? Xx

You could possibly, do you know if you ovulated? I lost mine in early August then early September I was pregnant again you never know!

I honestly have no idea, haven't been tracking properly just been having sex regularly, as in most days and know majority of women ovulate within 2 weeks following miscarriage so I assume so but yeah don't know for certain! Do you think worth testing or leaving it a few more weeks? Xx

@doodle23 I was awful for testing and used to all the time! With my 1st miscarriage it took me 4 weeks to ovulate, only noticed by the discharge... then 2nd it took 2 weeks. I mean I’d probably do one but that’s just me 😂😂 first response are good for early ones xx

So turns out I’m definitely pregnant. Honestly I have no idea how but I’m happy.

September 24th I miscarried.
Now I’m 6 weeks pregnant?!
