Anybody pregnant after miscarriage before 1st AF??

Hi All

Well I'm 7 + 2. Only had my ERPC 10 weeks ago. I had no clue I was pregnant until last Wednesday. I went to the doctor fearing that something wasn't right after ERPC, been having pain and a test still showed positive. She took bloods which revealed that I pregnant, but she put me straight to hospital regarding the pain (thinking it was eptopic). I got put for a scan and got the shock of my life when they said that I was pregnant again and that I was 6+2. Now the thing was, I felt I was being really responsible after the ERPC. I did NOT have unprotected sex (always used condoms), I had my first period 6 weeks after the ERPC, which was infact not a period and I bled two weeks ago for one day only. Last week my Hcg levels were 10,000. Thinking I may have bled due to all the crap my body had been through. I've been so worried that I've fallen pregnant too quickly and its all going to happen over again. Thankfully the hospital have been great and are taking me for another scan a week today to see if they can detect a heartbeat, but obviously I'm not hopeful. I've had constant really strong period pains and every website I go on says that you should defininitely wait for at least one period before falling pregnant. I feel that if I lose this one, I've set myself up for a fall. Obviously the condom burst on us, but I had no idea, we've hardly ever used these as I had always been on the pill. I guess I just wanted to know if this has happend to anybody else and if they managed to get a baby at the end of it.

Hey everyone, just checking in to see how everyone is? Back at work now and moved into our new house so have been feeling very positive....BUT..its been almost 6 weeks now since my ERPC and still no period :( Its annoying as me as me and my hubby have been having lots of baby making activity but doubt I am even fertile yet? Did a pregnancy test the other week just to be on the safe side that everything is gone from my system and it came up negative....just starting to get a bit impatient. Got caught so quickly last time, I guess I just want it to happen quickly again....have been getting what looks like fertile mucus on and off for the last 10 days or so and a week ago I had mild cramping on my right hand side so was hoping I was ovulating...but maybe not.....Really, really want to get pregnant soon!!! I know this is a very old post but it makes me happy to read all these positive stories. I'm a week out from my miscarriage and I really want to get pregnant soon.I was about 5 weeks along and naturally passed the pregnancy. I have a 3 year old daughter that I want to make a big sister. My doctor told me I should be ovulating soon so we will be trying, keeping my fingers crossed!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and only had a mc the 1st December !! My dates say that I fell pregnant 3 days after my mc so epau have no idea when I ovulated, it's very strange

Im new to this forum, just had a mmc at 13+2 found out at ultrasound that babys heart stopped at 9 weeks opted for erpc 3 days later as no signs of natural mc. I have 3 children from previous marriage all healthy pregnancies, myself and my dh have tried to conceive with no fertility issue's for 17 months and were thrilled when it finally happened.... only to be taken away :( I had the erpc on feb 21st and after2 weeks we started ttc, I have no real symsymptoms other than lower back pain, sticky mucus *tmi and sensitivity around areola could be pms my general cycle is 32 days new to charting and really only chart menstrual cycle. I was taking pregnacare and now my dh is taking well man preconception vit since mmc, jees I hope we get our bfp soon x should mention I had a negative pt on 1st march baby dust to all xxx

Please try not to worry, I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant after MC in June last year, I didn't have a period between but Dr said all the talk of waiting for your period is so you know you dates, as others have said.

Saying that, when I had my 12 week scan I was only a week off what I thought, so it really doesn't matter too much. They say you are a lot more fertile after MC so I think it happens a lot.

This has happened to me twice. I've had three early mcs and got pregnant straight after two of them. Both pregnancies continued and are now 4yrs and 18 months old. :)

Great to hear such positive stories, im due my menstrual cycle to begin tomorrow, still same symptons and no sign yet... terrified to do a test incase it's negative :( life can be so hard sometimes, have a dr appointment this week for follow up after erpc... praying to the angels that ibe been blessed enough to conceive again... A neighbour just had a healthy baby girl after drinking and smoking thtoughout her pregnancy and while im delighted her baby is healthy, I cant help but be bitter over the fact we lost our lil angel after being so health concious :( anyone else feel like that?

Hi all my name is Jessica I'm 27 I'm married with 4 beautiful girls..I had a miscarriage April 4 and it was natural my body pretty much went back to normal I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after it was still positive...So I wanted another week and took a clear blue digital it said not pregnant...Well I had sex as I normally do well I had noticed that my boobs hurt bad and I still had no aunt flow so today I decided to take a test from Walmart...Big fat positive...Now I'm not sure how to feel I'm scared I'll loose this baby I also went and bought another clear blue digital witch I'll take an in a hour or so..Has anyone been through this

Hello I suffered a miscarriage at 11 weeks on 12/4/15 it was such a horrible experience well I bleed for about a week after the misscarrage and 5_6 weeks later and still no AF. I did a test 2weeks ago and my hcg levels showed a negative rest. I tested again today like a idiot and it came bk positive I'm going out my mind I can not tell anyone as don't want to go through the pain of facing people if I miss carry. If it is deffo a baby I'm so scared of losing it. I know it would be out of my control but am I or arnt I. I'm now understanding why they say to wait one AF. I'm losing my mind

I am new in this. I am still a wreck up till today. On May 21st I was supposed to be 12 weeks pg. But, during my ultrasound they couldn't find the heart beat. The Dr prescribe some meds to pass it at home. I bled for 4 days it was so painful and I was so happy to have a baby.On June 15th I went for my scan they said I passed everything out but the urine test came back positive and my HCG level is at 41 I have another blood test on Monday 22nd. Am I pregnant? I am so scared and I cannot wait till Monday. If I am is it going to be the same? What do you think? Please help I feel like I am about to have a heart attack

So sorry SLCP. My HCG levels didn't drop to normal for over a month after I passed my MC. I was told I wouldn't ovulate again until the levels were below 1 so it was a long heart-wrenching wait. Hang in there.

You fell preg after 3 days' cv omg you've given me hope I had a mc about 2 weeks ago and shamefully my bf and I have had sex multiple times and I'm praying that I ovulated right after and it stuck!! Now I have to wait it out to c if my period comes... Hope not o just want us to have a beautiful baby girl!

I was 8 weeks on tues but didnt feel it, i had a reassurance scan which only showed a sac (which was correct size) but no baba. So they said to come back in a week for another as my dates may have been out...but on thurs in work i started to bleed, by saturday morning the pain was the worst, i was in hosp all weekend just got home. (I had tissue stuck behind my cervix, was on morphine but passed tissue myself do d and c got cancelled thank god) I am devastated but found all you thinking about conceiving again straight away. I cannot stop thinking about getting pg again. Im going to wait until i get a neg pt then try again. I had two mc before my daughter and we waited for a period each time after those but this time i dont want to wait. Fingers crossed, good luck everyone

Hiya, firstly so sorry to hear about your mc. I know this is an old thread but I myself had a mmc last Wednesday (2nd November 2016) and had an erpc the day after, Thursday 3rd, and it was mine and my husbands first and we were both absolutely devastated, baby stopped growing at about 9 weeks and it had no heartbeat 😢 We had an early scan 5 days before our first scan (12 week) was meant to be, so in a way I sort of prepared myself that it could be bad news due to nasty brown discharge and a slight bit of blood. I had no pain or anything really and even after the erpc my bleeding stopped that night and only slight spotting. Hardly any pain! Think I'm very lucky in that sense. Also we aren't waiting for AF to try again we are going with it since I didn't have any bleeding or much pain except slight cramping over the weekend (5th/6th November) we just decided to TTC. Monday 7th (original scan day 😟) we decided to take a pregnancy test and we were happy but sad that it was a negative. So ironic isn't it?! So does anyone know if this means my hcg levels are back to normal?? Tuesday eve on the 8th I decided to take an ovulation test and it was positive so we DTD again and again on Wednesday and Thursday (not that it was regimented, we are quite a close couple and after what we had been through we were desperate to be closer but couldn't that soon after the op) Ovulation test was positive again on Wednesday but then negative yesterday and even more negative on Monday the week after which gives me a slight bit of hope!! Does this sound like I was definitely ovulating?? Everyone's different I know and we are trying not to overthink it or stress and just go with it. Am not going to do anymore ovulation tests now just gonna see what happens! I wish everyone luck and thank you all for sharing your stories it really helps! Hi everybody. I'm now 20 weeks after a MMC in June. I ovulated and got pregnant 3-4 weeks after the ERPC without having had a period.

The only thing I would say is that I was an emotional wreck when I found out I was pregnant. I was still grieving for the first little bean when I became pregnant again and my brain found it hard to adjust for a while. I was all over the place emotionally.

This little one seems to have stuck despite a very anxious first 12 weeks. I felt far more pregnant than last time, even after only 7 days post conception I was feeling dizzy and queasy.

I refused to go down the early scan route like last time because I knew I would just get into a routine of wanting more and more reassurance. For me this worked but I know it's not for everybody.

Good luck to everybody in this situation. I was astounded I could get pregnant again so quickly but the body is an amazing thing!

Janiney, so sorry to hear your story but grateful that im not alone. Ive had four haemorrhages since mc been off work for six weeks on mefenamic and tranexamic acid. My bodys not doing well at adjusting this time round. You may have well been ovulating i hope you were. Fingers crossed. Looks like ill be waiting until kingdom come at this rate :( but i know it will happen one day, just patience is not a quality i have haha. Keep me updated.

Paperandpaint CONGRATULATIONS, so happy for you what an exciting time eh?! I wish id have insisted on a d and c now but i chose not to. My own fault. The hospital said this could may well have still happened to me if i had d and c anyway but cant help but blame myself. Im terrified of getting knocked out :'(

miscarried June 23rd 2017 (12 weeks) as we found out baby stopped developing and heartbeat stopped at 8 weeks. This was almost 7 weeks ago, I've had no cramps, no bleeding, no period, no pains of any sort so out of curiosity done one clear blue digital 2 days ago getting positive 1-2 weeks and again this morning getting positive 2-3 weeks, would this be a new pregnancy or hormones from the miscarriage, any advice?

Hi Bettabye so sorry for your loss. Did you have a negative test after the miscarriage? If so would sound like a new pregnancy, but if in doubt call your GP or early pregnancy unit for advice

Hello everyone, I’m kind of in the same boat. It’s been about a month since my mc, I had heavy bleeding that eventually stopped. And my fiancé and I decided to wait until my cycle was back on track before ttc again (This is my second mc btw) but I expected my period to make an appearance by now, it’s been over 4 weeks. Forcing myself to wait a while and not get crazy taking tests! And i’m Very nervous I may be pregnant again, been having sympotoms and just overall “feel pregnant” but it’s nice to hear success stories of other getting pregnant right after mc! Congrats to you all! :) Hoping to get my rainbow baby soon!

Hi there, I know this is an old thread but ive recently had a miscarriage (at 8 weeks) on 29th March. I had stopped bleeding a week after. The last few days I have been horrendously tired...the last time i felt like this was just before i found out i was pregnant before. Is it possible I could have become pregnant this quickly?! I've seen a lot of threads from women that have got pregnant before getting their first period...but I'm too scared to even consider it :( Any help/guidance/thoughts much appreciated!

I had a MC on the 18th Jan, and feel pregnant again on the 5th feb (was using ov sticks) I'm now just over 12 weeks and all is fine so far, good luck all x

I had an early MC on the 5th May, bled for about a week and took a pregnancy test yesterday and I'm pregnant again! All of these posts have made me feel so positive about what's to come. Every time I feel any sort of twinge I'm going to the toilet to see if I'm bleeding. Hopefully the anxiety stops soon!

This gives me so much hope, I miscarried on may 24th and I've been ovulating ever since I started testing on ovulation sticks after bleeding. So we started to try again after the bleeding stopped which only lasted 4 days. Congratulstions to you, amazing news. X
