Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi everyone, I'm due April but my son was late so will probably be May.

I'm so so anxious this time around. I was pregnant 6 years ago and now im much more mature in age and terrified of things going wrong. Almost 7 weeks now so just hoping baby sticks and is healthy.

What I forgot was the nausea. Omg I'm so ill 😭😭😭

Congratulations 🎊 I'm a first time mum, just found out today! I've worked my due date out to be 11th May!🥰

First timer here! Weird to describe myself as a mum-to-be :D my due date is around 4th May and I have my booking appointment scheduled for 30 September.

I am v nervous but enjoying reading about pregnancy and newborns. In the middle of doing some serious decluttering and rearranging to make our house baby friendly.

Congrats everyone :)

TTCno1in23 · 07/09/2026 09:07

@TTCmaybesoon how soon did you get your appointment after referring yourself? I did mine 2 weeks ago now and still not heard anything 🫠

Ah man I'm sorry!

I got a text and a message via the NHS app two or three days after I sent the referral saying a letter was on its way. I ticked a box on the app saying I wanted paperless comms so then I was able to see the letter with the appointment they'd booked for me straight away.

I might have been v lucky. There was a phone number on the referral form that I saved, so it might be worth checking if they've received your referral and sent you a letter (the letter could be stuck I suppose).

Biyobio · 07/09/2026 10:43

My booking appointment is Sept 23rd and got my letter about 1 week after I self referred.

Goingtobeafirsttimemum · 07/09/2026 11:39

My booking appointment is 9th October I referred myself a couple days after my positive and got a message in NHS app a day later. Letter didn’t arrive untill a couple days ago though. Although I have my ultrasound appointment on 2nd November also.

MummaAgain2026 · 07/09/2026 14:37

Welcome everyone! I’ve been struggling for the past few days with terrible nausea and headaches. Completely wiped me out - hoping it doesn’t last the whole first trimester 🤢

Ohh I want to chase mine up but on the automatic email it said wait until 7/8 weeks if you haven’t heard 😭 so impatient hahah. Has anyone booked an early scan?

jg09x · 07/09/2026 16:24

Hello, i found out this weekend that I am pregnant with baby number 2, got a 17 year old son so quite a big age gap. Based on calculators etc im due 22nd of May ☺️

Molly2008 · 07/09/2026 17:36

@jg09xwelcome! I have a 17 year old son too and a 13 year old daughter. How are you feeling about starting over again… now I’m over the shock I’m quite excited / nervous!

jg09x · 07/09/2026 17:38

@Molly2008im still in shock tbh but I’m excited as well as nervous to start over again as well. It feels like so much has changed x

Molly2008 · 07/09/2026 19:19

Yep that’s exactly how I feel completely out of date. There is much new stuff!

Second baby due 7th May 2027 but I expect it will actually be dated later as I know I definitely ovulated late and didn’t get a positive until 2 days after my missed period! Anyone else who already has one who feels nervous this time round for some reason? I think mum guilt for my first is already setting in!

@OnePoisedHazelPombear hi! It’s my second baby too, due 10th May 2027. Indeed, I am same boat of being nervous or anxious. At 4 weeks I had vagina bleeding which I ddidnt experience in 1st pregnancy. And I felt like my pregnancy symptoms had gone since then.

how are you feeling ? And how old is your 1st baby?

I’m feeling good, the guilt has died down and I’m more excited but I’m sure the guilt will return. I’m worrying how I’ll do bedtime with two though haha. Symptoms wise I don’t have any but had very little with my first. I had bleeding at 5 weeks so the my first but none this time so hopefully it stays that way.

my first is 2.5y he was a Jan 2024 baby so will be almost 3 and a half when second is here. How old is yours?

Biyobio · 07/09/2026 21:39

Im wanting to do a private scan. Currently 6+4 ad was hoping to wait out until 8weeks but Ive been feeling so crap. Not sure I can wait it out. Anyone had or having a scan before 7 weeks? Ive already looked at availability for this week 🫣

thanks!

my first one is 2.5yo born March 2024! I haven’t yet came around thinking how to handle two! Yea, I had similar thoughts, I wonder if my toddler would be upset if his toys ‘reuse’ for with newborn.

today woke up at 3am with dry mouth. I did a second test and still showing positive. Hope things are going the right way.

NEMamato5 · 08/09/2026 08:19

@Biyobio i had a scan last year with my little boy at what i thought was 6 weeks and i was actually 5+4 and he was there with a little flickering heartbeat, 7 weeks will be fine but if you ovulated late and your days are out slightly it could mean that you would need a repeat scan 2 weeks after the first to check for progress.
congratulations on all of the new pregnancies I hope you’re all doing well. I’m starting to get food aversions now (quavers 🤢) the same as all of my girl pregnancies and I’m loving cleaning products.

I’m due 7th May :) first baby and I’m 33

Also 33 and first baby for me 😊 due 2nd May

Pip1402 · 08/09/2026 13:51

The tiredness has really hit me today, not helped by the insomnia I’ve started having. Not sure if that’s caused by the hormones or just the excitement/anxiety.

I’m thinking of having an early scan at around 8 weeks, if I can force myself to wait that long.

laesosalt · 08/09/2026 14:05

Very exhausted here!

I have my first midwife appointment on the 19th of October and then scan the 2nd of November 🥳

Hope everyone is doing ok x

piscofrisco · 08/09/2026 14:15

Aww. I don’t want to derail your thread but it caught my eye as I joined Mumsnet 20 years ago this month to join a ‘due in May 2007’ thread.
My May baby is now 19, at Uni and she has been and still is, one of the joys of my life.
May is a lovely time to have a baby. I wish I could go back in time just for a day or two to have a few hours of those early years again.
Enjoy your thread-I’m still real life friends with some of the women off ours. We used to measure our bumps with toilet roll every Tuesday as I recall and get excited when we went up half a square :).

Wishing you all the luck and happy and healthy babies next May x

Yes that's what's stopping me from booking in case Im not as far along as I think. It just about stops me!

Aww I so relate to the food versions. Im off lots of food and have horrible nausea which is only being with medication.

TTCmaybesoon · 08/09/2026 17:45

I usually love mega runny eggs but the thought is making me a bit ill atm.

Fresh juicy fruit on the other hand...some of the nicest things I've eaten recently include plums, kiwis and mangoes.

The nausea is a bit odd. I've not actually been sick but if I focus on it too much it makes me gag. I've got a lot of gas. And I could really do with a midday nap most days.

I'm a gym bunny but lifting is a bit hard.

I tend to push through things like this and it's not that bad but I would like to get past this trimester so I can start operating normally again 😂

Moominmamato3 · 08/09/2026 18:19

Had my scan today ~ little one spotted with a flickering heartbeat and measuring as expected. I’m very relieved, even though my miscarriage in May was at 10 weeks they said development must have stopped around 5 so getting to 6 feels like a big step. Feel I can relax a bit now and start to enjoy the pregnancy.
