Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hello! I’m due baby no2 on the 1st. I had a miscarriage a year ago at 8 weeks so trying to see that as my first milestone. We go away at 9 weeks with family so I wanted a scan before then to check all is ok before I tell my parents but my husband said ignorance is bliss 🤦🏽‍♀️

Congratulations to everyone joining!

@MummaAgain2026 im not sure if i should be avoiding eggs and chicken given the salmonella situation, the rational part of me thinks stick to British eggs and it will be fine but the other part of me is worried after my loss in May.

@Moominmamato3 goodness, I hadn’t even heard about the outbreak, I’ve just looked it up. Completely get where you’re coming from with this one x

@OnePoisedHazelPombear Congratulations my luv! I’m very excited to get my confirmed due date, I’ve been a couple of days out of my predictions with the other two.

Oh the Mum guilt 🥺 horrible isn’t it?! I was worried that my daughter would feel left out and her baby brother would get all the attention from friends and family. It actually ended up being the other way round, which in hindsight probably worked out for the best, but it still stung a little at the time.

@TTCno1in23 Congratulations and welcome 😀. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage my luv. Completely understandable that you’d want a reassurance scan and I think many on this thread are opting for one to check all is okay. Choose whatever feels right for you darling x

@OnePoisedHazelPombear I always feel guilty about the baby impacting the others no matter what number it was. With our first I felt guilty about how the dog would cope 😂.

I try just to focus more on the positives ~ someone to play with and grow up with. I always took the older ones out to pick out something for baby to help them feel excited like a blanket or book (but if they didn’t want to I wouldn’t push it).

I think it’s absolutely normal to feel nervous x

Moominmamato3 · 31/08/2026 13:40

@TTCno1in23 have you spoke with your midwife yet? I was told by EPU when I had my miscarriage in May I could have a scan at 6 weeks and when I mentioned it to my midwife she called and organised it for me.

Not sure if it was down to my age as I’m 37 but may be worth asking and see if they will arrange one for you?

TTCno1in23 · 31/08/2026 17:07

@Moominmamato3 I haven’t - I’ve put a referral in but said could be 2 weeks before I hear anything. I will ask when I get my 8 week appointment but it’s annoying I have no one to contact before then as I’d probably go for it if it was free on the NHS 😅
How have you heard from a midwife already?

Moominmamato3 · 31/08/2026 18:11

I called the Midwife team in my area (had the number from before but your GP should have it) and asked to register. My midwife gave me my booking appointment date and that’s when I asked about the scan which she arranged that day for when I’m 6 weeks.

Hello 👋🏼 first time poster but long time lurker in some of the other areas of MN. Not sure on all the acronyms but first time mum here! Found out yesterday, a bit of a shock as we weren’t trying, more playing with fire every month and well I guess this time it stuck! Feeling very anxious for what’s to come, hoping I can take lots of advice from you ladies as seem to be lots of 2nd or more mums in this thread! 🤗

NEMamato5 · 31/08/2026 21:39

Congratulations @MayBeeMummy I have 6 already so I’m always happy to answer any questions xx
is anyone else feeling so emotional I’m crying at everything atm, I keep having so many vivid dreams too, my daughter (18) told me she was pregnant and I was thinking this is awkward we are pregnant at the same time 🤣luckily it was just a dream.

TTCno1in23 · 31/08/2026 22:10

@NEMamato5 you are brave! I’m not emotional but very hormonal - I feel for my husband at the moment as my fuse is so short 😬

NEMamato5 · 31/08/2026 22:20

@TTCno1in23 I'm the same with my husband, he will just disappear and then come back with a cup of tea 🤣. My eldest five are between 14 and 20 so they’re much more independent and then I have my little one year old but he’s such a lovely calm boy

Congratulations too! 6 wow!!!

In hindsight I’ve been a little more emotional but not massively. I’ve been so HOT though and keep waking up in the night (I’m usually dead to the world for 8-10 hours) and I’ve got a banging headache I’ve had for two days now. Is there anyone here who has been lucky and not had any sickness or nausea? That’s what’s worrying me the most waiting for it to kick in 😭😭

laesosalt · 01/09/2026 07:39

Tentatively joining! Positive test at 9dpo and just done another this morning which is even more positive (10dpo).

This will be baby 4 🫶🏼

Congratulations everyone xx

NEMamato5 · 01/09/2026 10:52

@MayBeeMummy i have never had sickness in any of my pregnancies including my twin pregnancy. I do get nauseous when brushing my teeth or because of certain smells but that normally starts around 6-8 weeks.
congratulations @laesosalt thats brilliant that the tests are progressing x

MummaAgain2026 · 01/09/2026 12:23

Congratulations to everyone who has joined! ♥️. I am a lot more snappy than usual, but it’s hard to tell if it’s just fatigue from a very full on summer with the kids or pregnancy related - perhaps both. I’m sure all those wonderful symptoms are just around the corner.

Hi! Joining in, due around 9th May I think with no.3! Im delighted but terrified!!

DoloresMadrigal · 01/09/2026 19:39

Tentatively joining but don’t want to jinx it!
Been trying for our second for 3 years, with an ectopic pregnancy and tube removal 2.5 years ago. This is our first positive test since then so I’m thrilled and terrified all at once!

Due May 3rd if all goes well!

OneEdgyTraybake · 02/09/2026 07:37

I'm 40 and pregnant 5 wks 2 days, my daughter is 5 so also feel like I've forgotten everything and trying to be patient as not experiencing many symptoms... Expected due date is early May 2027!!

Biyobio · 02/09/2026 07:54

Im really struggling with nausea...it started when I was around 4.5weeks on and off but since 5 weeks its been pretty much every day. Im off a lot of food already especially anything sweet. Have been going through bags of salted vinegar crisps and sour sweets which seem to be the only things helping! I'm 5+6 today.

Baby2on · 02/09/2026 09:24

Just found out I’m pregnancy today
expecting May 2027 🥳

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 02/09/2026 09:41

Tentatively joining. Expecting baby number 2, had a chemical a couple of months ago so very anxious! Premom dates me at 11th May due date.

Same, my son is 5 and the baby days feel like a long time ago! I'm also 5+2 and will be 39 when it's born. (Keeping everything crossed).

Good luck to everyone for the first trimester!

Goingtobeafirsttimemum · 02/09/2026 18:01

I’m 37 and am 3+4 so tentatively early. But I have never been pregnant before but am absolutely exhausted I’m just constantly sleeping is this normal? If I’m not sleeping I’m grazing to keep nausea at bay. Sorry if it’s a silly question.
