Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Lookingforhope26 do you have a girl or boy? I had no sickness with my boy and terrible sickness with my girl so it really does vary. I still think 6 weeks is a bit early for anything as well.

Thanks @Plumchumm. I also need to book a 6 week scan. I have an event on Friday 25th when I should be 6+2 - can’t decide whether to do the scan before it so I can have a drink if it’s bad news, or after so I’m in happy ignorance.

Silverglass · 10/09/2026 14:04

the only symptom I had in my first trimester was tiredness last time so I’m praying that happens again. Although I then was starving the rest of the pregnancy so maybe some food aversions would be better for my weight gain 😂

MummaAgain2026 · 10/09/2026 15:23

I’ve been feeling really nauseous, especially by midday, but my headaches have eased, I work on a computer all day so this probably doesn’t help. I’ve also noticed that my air fresheners, which I usually love, are beginning to make me feel sick 🤢

I’ve had such a craving for bread, like Wenzels baguettes, it’s all I want.
I don’t want chocolate or anything else, I just want a chicken and bacon baguette, or a ham wrap with branston pickle. I think this may be more so that I don’t usually eat bread because it bloats me, but now I don’t care so I’m eating all the baguettes I want 😂. That’ll probably be my dinner tonight tbf!

How far along are you @MummaAgain2026 ? I'm 7 weeks and have crashed out on the sofa today eating croissants feeling sorry for myself. The nausea is flooring me! 🥺

Plumchumm · 10/09/2026 15:34

I had blood testing this month before I realised I was pregnant, because I've been getting help with trying to conceive. So I just got my results now for my progesterone, taken a few days before my positive test.
On 5dpo it was 38.2nmol/L which is pretty good as it's above the 30 threshold and I wasn't even at 7dpo yet.
But then my 12dpo progesterone came to 29.7nmol/L. I got my positive the day after that.

Called my EPU to let them know as I've had early losses before and worried I may need progesterone supplements, but she said it looks ok and to just monitor it. If I get any spotting or bleeding to call them. Hope all is okay

I have a girl. However, my best friend just had a boy and she had nausea in the first trimester!

I am really tired, however.

I’m 7 weeks on Sunday my luv, and the symptoms are most definitely heightening as the days pass. Enjoy your croissants 🥐 I’m ordering my baguette now. Rest well and hope you get some relief from the nausea 😢 x

Congratulations ♥️. Oh we are so close with our due dates. I’ve worked out mine to be the 02nd May. Mine are 9 and 6, feels like a huge age gap, but I’m also thinking more about the pro’s.

Sorry to hear about your loss my luv. I’ve got an appointment booked on the 22nd Sep. Just says ‘midwife’ new. It seems appointments and maternity notes may all be an app now? Will be very glad not to have to carry around that bloody folder lol

joining this late, wow your age gap is the same as mine. also just a shock positive (mainly because we thought we wern't able to so had stopped trying) and really concerned about this gap + my age. Due mid may.

Pip1402 · 10/09/2026 16:40

I really craved sweet things with my last one (a girl) but this time I don’t have a sweet tooth at all at the moment so I’m wondering if that means anything. Probably not but I’m reading into everything.

I was going to have a scan at 8 weeks, then decided 7.5 and have just decided I can’t wait past 7. I’m feeling so impatient to get to a more viable stage where I might actually believe this is happening.

StillNotFoundThePlot · 10/09/2026 17:29

Sorry to hear you’re suffering so badly. I had a baby less than 3 years ago but still feel clueless. I think the sleep deprivation wiped my memory of the first year!

I love the fact he’s already planning for number 4! Mmm quiche sounds good. I don’t usually eat meat but found myself stealing my two year olds chicken pie at the weekend… very different cravings to the haribo from my last one!

FolkSongSweet · 10/09/2026 20:55

@StillNotFoundThePlot im also on progesterone - part of my immune protocol that I’ve started late this time. I’ve never had any issues with progesterone- just given as part of the package with the other stuff I’m taking. How come you’re on it? I don’t think I really get many symptoms
from it, but it’s hard to tell what’s pregnancy and what’s drugs. I’ve had quite strong cramps today and yesterday which I usually get in pregnancy, but could
also be the meds.

I’m on it because we’ve had 14 very early losses 4-6 weeks, I have done a little bit of an experiment over the past two days because like you say I couldn’t tell the difference between drug/pregnancy symptoms so I didn’t insert it until 1pm and before that I’ve had no sickness no tiredness been able to clean and not fall asleep standing up…1:30pm I was flat out on the sofa severe nausea and fell straight to sleep for 2 hours, so I don’t know maybe I’ll call epu and ask them tomorrow what I should do, if anything. 🤷‍♀️

I’m not loving that 😂😂 weird isn’t it! I also seem to have a lot of different symptoms to with my girls but maybe it’s the age gap I don’t know ohh and with the girls I went off tea this time I’m completely off coffee, have you got a scan booked anytime soon?

Ah I’m so sorry for your losses - they sound very similar to mine. I’m on prednisolone as well as progesterone to suppress my immune system. I had both my kids on that regime and it worked, but meant to start from ovulation which I didn’t this time. I’d love to have this baby so really hoping for the best.

Ive been taking mine before bed - maybe that’s why? I’m on 2 x cyclogest pessaries.

This was me a few days ago and only thing stopped me was in the chance my dates are wrong so didnt want to go and be disappointed. Im 7 weeks today so will hold for another week to be on the safe side.

AFlashOfLight · 10/09/2026 22:29

Hi everyone, joining here after a positive test this morning. I'm 5+1, so due around the 12th I believe.
I had a miscarriage in May of this year so not getting too carried away by this one, just taking it as it comes. I already have one child, a 6y/o daughter. I thought that that would be one of the bigger age gaps, but reading through the other replies it seems to be normal on this thread which is nice!
Oh and I'll be 40 when the baby is born 😬😬.

BelleSprout · 10/09/2026 22:31

Hi everyone, tentatively joining the thread. I had my BFP two days ago at 10dpo. Praying for a sticky one this time after 3 back to back chemicals. My lines are looking much darker and I’m actually seeing some progression this time though so feeling a little more positive although still anxious!

This would be baby number two, I already have a 2 year old daughter

LauraJ889 · 11/09/2026 03:29

Congratulations everyone! I'm due on 10th May with my second baby. My first is only 9 months so I'm feeling very excited, but a little nervous about the small age gap!

jg09x · 10/09/2026 12:33

No it’s not. This will be my second. My first is 17 🙈 is this your first? xx

Edited

Oh wow! I bet a lot of the guidance etc has changed since your eldest.

Yes, this is my first 😊

Yes it definitely has by the sounds of it. My last pregnancy I found out really late on so didn’t get to experience everything fully so ready to soak it all in this time around ☺️

FolkSongSweet · 11/09/2026 10:18

@AFlashOfLight I’ll also be 40 by next May, and my kids will be 6.5 and just turned 9 by that point.

I think they would be really excited to have a new sibling, whereas DC1 was 2 when we had DC2, so didn’t really understand any of it. They are great friends now though, so I might actually contemplate a 4th if I didn’t already feel quite old, and have another pair.

I’m planning on a scan at 7 weeks (currently 5+1) but haven’t booked it yet because it feels like tempting fate. How about you?

I’m really struggling to believe this is real for some reason. I told the dentist today and felt like I was lying!
