Just had a tentative early bfp which would make me due Feb 2027. Super scary as we have a not quite 9 month old…fingers crossed it’s sticky.

Anyone else?

I have an early reassurance scan booked for 8 weeks (so mid-July)- we did it first time for my son & it gave us the comfort of telling nearest & dearest at that point so plan to do the same again this time all being well.

we have a family wedding at the start of August so my close family will have to know by then otherwise they will totally clock me not drinking😂

That’s lovely, and not too long to wait either (although I’m sure it’ll feel like forever!). It’s nice when you get that extra bit of reassurance from the scans and then feel more comfortable telling your family. It’s really hard when you have a big event like a wedding and people will notice you not drinking. Thankfully I’ve checked forward in my diary and we don’t have any big functions coming up so hopefully I can avoid that issue for a while before we tell people!

I’ve also got an early scan booked for 8 weeks end June, I think I ovulated CD22 though so expecting to be behind. It’s my first time and couldn’t wait until the 12 weeks!

That’s exciting, only a couple more weeks to go! I remember feeling so impatient first time too, the 12 week scan feels so far away doesn’t it.

Wishing you both lots of luck for your early scans!

BananaMilkshake77 · 22/06/2026 05:57

I am not in the UK, they sent you for a scan between 6-7 weeks here then the 12 weeks one. I would definitely go private if they didn't as it's a long time wrapped up in my head.

I never had any symptoms with my DS (no sickness etc) the only thing I had was bleeding all the way up until 26 weeks. Never knew why!

freakinthespreadsheets · 22/06/2026 08:04

Morning everyone! I found out I am pregnant yesterday (Father's Day) with my first baby. The calculators show i will be due in the last week of Feb 😊

NoCheese2026 · 22/06/2026 13:02

What prenatals are people taking? I'm on the Pregnacare max but finding them so hard to swallow, they seem huge.

tierneytarny · 22/06/2026 13:07

I’m just taking folic acid and vitamin D. Both are small tablets so are easy enough to get down.

The nausea and sickness are kicking my backside this week. And the tiredness 🙈

I’m still undecided about an early scan. Part of me wants one but the other part feels quite chilled out and enjoying the bubble and excitement.

SantiagoSister · 22/06/2026 13:43

I take the Naturelo prenatals @NoCheese2026, I like that a lot of the ingredients are in their natural form.

Springcloud26 · 22/06/2026 17:37

@NoCheese2026 I’m taking boots folic acid & vit d combined and a max strength omega 3

ThatIsABigSon · 22/06/2026 18:03

I had a scan on Tuesday last week to check pregnancy location as have had a previous ectopic. Nothing could be seen but lining was 13.5mm. I then had a repeat yesterday when I would be roughly 5w2d and the gestational sac could be seen in my uterus. Repeat scan in 2 weeks when I think ill be around 7weeks to check progression.

Is anyone else around 5 qeeks and just no symptoms at all?!

Springcloud26 · 22/06/2026 18:50

@ThatIsABigSon I hope all goes well with your next scan!

I’m 6 + 6 weeks according to my app, but ovulated late around CD22, so think I’m more likely to be around 5 + 4 weeks in development. I was literally saying to my partner today, I don’t feel anything! I have continual bloating and low concentration but that’s all. I have a scan booked for 9 days time, week on Tuesday!

freakinthespreadsheets · 22/06/2026 19:37

I'm currently on some prenatals from Amazon (brand is called Horbaach) that i was taking as a precaution as I came off BC earlier in the year. I've ordered the Boots ones with the omega 3 DHA capsules to replace them. Hoping they aren't too harsh on my stomach as feeling queasy already 4+4

SummerOak · 22/06/2026 20:56

I'm also just taking Folic Acid + Vitamin D .

Has anyone here had any pink spotting? I’m 5+5 and just had some start, quite nervous after a loss before. I have emailed my IVF clinic but I just wondered if anyone has had pink spotting before? I haven’t had even the tiniest hint of blood before this

What is silent HG? I’ve googled it but nothing has come up. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy x

Sorry! I’ve only just seen this! I meant Dry HG. It’s hyperemesis gravidarum but without the vomiting part. Everything else is the same. Really struggling with it atm.

hope your pregnancy goes smoothly too!! 🫶🫶🫶

I am around 5 weeks . No symptoms . Did not have much in last pregnancy either (never once sick!) . My only issue was bleeding until near the end of second trimester .

You might just be in for an easy pregnancy!

That sounds rotten! At least vomiting can bring relief sometimes!

I’m taking the Tesco own brand folic acid. I tried the pregnacare ones with my first pregnancy & they gave me the worst constipation lol & yes so hard to swallow they were like horse tablets! Tesco ones are tiny, like I can swallow without water and everything! Would recommend!

I had awful spotting last week at 4/5 weeks, then a decent bleed for 24 hours. Was terrified obviously, this is my first pregnancy, was scanned and had two haematomas. Never head of them before but apparently they’re common 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t have any pain or cramping which is apparently a positive sign

Jumping on this thread... Week 6 of pregnancy, feel isolated being unable to talk to friends and family (waiting for 12 week scan)

2nd pregnancy (child is 4) - slight surprise
Late 30s
Currently moving house and planning a renovation
Boobs currently killing me! Slight nausea started this week

How are others doing?

TryingToStaySane92 · Yesterday 13:41

Hey everyone, jumping on this as I'm unexpectedly pregnant with my second, my daughter is 17 months. I'm due around 21st Feb. Knew I was pregnant before I got a positive, first test was negative but I knew it was wrong 🙈
Just started feeling nauseous which is driving me insane because I'm emetophobic but I'm trying to get through it.

tierneytarny · Yesterday 14:17

The nausea and sickness is kicking my backside. I’m really struggling with the heat too. Food is a nightmare and seemingly all I want is fresh fruit and chicken nuggets 🙈

After saying I was really chilled, I had a panic and I booked a same day early scan and saw the teeny tiny flickering of a heartbeat. EDD: 07 February 2027.

Totally understand the feeling of isolation, it’s nice to have these threads where we are all at a similar point and can chat while we wait for scans. Due to issues in previous pregnancies we will wait until after our 20 week scan to tell most people, which I’m sure will be difficult as I was showing a lot by 20 weeks with my second.

It seems like you have a lot on the go at the moment! It’ll certainly keep you busy and make the first few weeks fly past at least 😅 I’m coming up to 5 weeks, and I’ve had really sore boobs since a few days before my positive test, they’ve eased slightly but still aching. No other symptoms yet, don’t know how I’m going to last until our 12 week scan not knowing if everything is ok in there 😩
