Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Sorry to those with bleeding. I just wanted to say I wouldn't panic too much (easier said than done, I know). My only successful pregnancy so far, is the one which I bled the most - from brown blood to huge gushes of red blood. Weirdly, I wasn't even given progesterone, just scanned! My son was always fine. With my losses, I didn't bleed.

I think we were in January 2024 group together? My wee boy was born 20th Dec in the end.

Oh yes we must have been, I recognise your username!

Oh wow before Christmas, my boy was 2 weeks late 19th January. He's very active now, saying lots of words, not all of it makes sense 🤣

I'm now realising how pregnancy is going to be a different experience with a toddler 🫣

Congratulations!! It can be so hard to not feel anxious between waiting for appointments. If you struggle with pregnancy anxiety, I really recommend Carea. It's an app that is specifically for mothers pregnancy and postpartum, and it has loads of tools to help anxiety such as meditations, affirmations, etc. I've been using it and it's honestly been so so helpful!! They have articles too so you can read week by week what's happening to your body, which as a first time mum, is actually incredibly useful.

Must feel so unnerving all the time!

for me I’ve got the brown blood, some cramping, cervix feels really low and my one symptom of weirdly sticky out nipples has gone. Still abroad until Tuesday so nothing I can do except wait and see and hope if it happens it’s not too debilitating.

Second this - I didn’t have the red gushes of blood but my spotting was definitely worse with my successful pregnancy than my MMC.

Fingers crossed to everyone having their early scans.

For those struggling with nausea, I have worn the wristbands overnight (different time zone to most of you I imagine so have just woken up) and I have definitely noticed a positive difference. I could eat dinner and travel by car last night without struggling and didn’t wake up scared to move in case I vomit. The nausea has not gone but the edge has been taken off for sure.

It's a lot isn't it! This is baby #5 for me but my other kids were school age when I had Cody so it was much easier. I just want to sleep šŸ˜…

When are most of you having your booking in appt? Mine is bang on 10 weeks and apparently they don't do anything different or earlier in Worcs for pregnancy after recurrent loss.
I'm climbing the walls with anxiety here and I really want to talk to someone before I crash out entirely

DaLouO · 13/11/2025 09:47

Morning all!

Im actually feeling really positive today!

I did another test this morning and it was the darkest I have had, and it’s made me feel really positive and have hope. I am now going to stop testing as I’ve started to have symptoms, sore boobs and nausea so it makes me feel like things are definitely progressing. May do a digital I have saved in a few days but just for fun.

I haven’t heard anything from the midwife about a booking appointment yet but it’s still early days so waiting for a call from them following my self referral. Hope everything is okay with everyone else and you’re all having a lovely day xxx

Morning, I'm feeling a bit brighter today convinced myself there was something up yesterday as symptoms were fluctuating and then had some spotting in the evening (although I think this may be constipation related).

However did another test this morning and it seems to be darker, symptoms definitely here today!

The days seem to be going so slowly!

Juicytoot287 · 13/11/2025 10:28

My midwife cancelled :’( I’m gutted but have a replacement appt this weekend

i have requested a GP appt regarding nausea and sickness now as I have thrown up my vitamins (I assume) today and I am really struggling - only seems to be getting worse!

it’s not HG but it’s just constant

SoftLaunch · 13/11/2025 10:44

Hi all! I'm 4w+2 so very early days here still but all my brain wants to do is think and talk about babies so I'm throwing caution to the wind and jumping right into the chat!

All going well I'll be joining the two under two club. I had a lovely first pregnancy and am looking forward to going through the experience again, though no doubt it'll be a very different experience juggling symptoms (then a newborn) alongside a lively toddler!

I'm already getting the first hints of nausea and light headedness, which seems very early but maybe my body remembers the hormones so is more geared up to react to them? I'm also very hungry already. I'm not usually a snacker but currently considering a walk to the shops to buy all the biscuits.

Salamander91 · 13/11/2025 11:23

Had some spotting this morning. EPU can't see me until tomorrow morning and I have no idea how to function until then.

88claire · 13/11/2025 12:02

Scan at 5+3 showed a sac sized 11mm (puts me at 5+5) with a yolk sac but no embryo or heartbeat (yet). Apparently it could go either way. I think I know deep down this is my third miscarriage and second blighted ovum in a row.

Rescan in two weeks. I bought wine I'm so sure it's over...

88claire · 13/11/2025 12:04

Gryffindoratheart · 12/11/2025 12:59

My scan went okay, they could see the gestational sac and yolk sac, have to go back in two weeks for a follow up.

I'm in the exact situation. Do you mind me asking the size of the sac and how many weeks you are. 2 weeks will be torture!

I’m sorry you’re struggling. My anxiety after loss is overwhelming too. I hate the uncertainty

Saladkart · 13/11/2025 12:12

Does anyone know if a loss of symptoms is normal? I’m 5 weeks and for the first week had nausea, sore breasts, cramps. Today - nothing

Stitchwizz · 13/11/2025 13:15

I don't think it's unusual for symptoms to fluctuate. The only constant I noticed with early losses was when a lack of other symptoms was combined with persistent lower back pain.

Try not to worry too much. I'm in the same position with recurrent miscarriage so was scanned at 5+1 this week and then I'm booked in weekly. For you they have seen a pregnancy, which is in the right place and measuring about right. Fetal poles and heartbeats are just hard to see this early. I hope you can try and be positive. Sending lots of good thoughts your way.

Thankyou. It's just so hard when I can see this going exactly the same way as last time :( I had a nap and have held off on the wine. I might try and get a scan at the walk in EPU next week as I don't think I can wait 2 weeks at my booking hospital.

I wish I hadn't had the scan at all now.

Fingers and toes crossed for both of us! X

I had a call yesterday (6 weeks) to book my appointment in two weeks time (8 weeks). I think Wales does booking appointment from 8 weeks and it's at home. It was my midwife I had with my last pregnancy who rang me she said I can call her if I have any issues or questions. I am fortunate to have her support again.

Is there anyone who can support you? Especially as it's giving you anxiety and your history I hope there's someone who can offer helpā™„ļø

Stitchwizz · 13/11/2025 16:32

I'm already in therapy and I have a good support network, so I will get thru it. I just wish the service would step up, but their track record with pregnancy after loss is dreadful, so much so that neighbouring trusts won't take referrals from them s there's too many women wanting to go elsewhere

Featherlemon · 13/11/2025 17:30

Hello all. Tentatively joining in here at 4 weeks + 1 day. First pregnancy so it’s all new to me, enjoying reading everyone else’s experiences so far! I’m in NI and don’t think I can register with midwife until I am 8 weeks, will book a private scan for around then just for reassurance I think 😊

Disgruntledpelicanlady · 13/11/2025 22:39

All starting to feel a bit real for me today!
Hit 5 weeks today and had a gp appointment to discuss a few bits - whether my daily medication was OK to continue etc. Had cyclizine prescribed. No vomiting yet but was prescribed it for HG last pregnancy so they said they'd rather get on top of it just in case. Dr confirmed I will be high risk and consultant led, which I knew but is still scary to hear!
Then came home and my booking appointment has arrived for in 3 weeks time.

Andrasa · 13/11/2025 22:45

Bleeding and cramping has stopped! Never went red or too heavy so I’m assuming just random bleeding after all. Still no symptoms so will wait until scan next week, I’ll be 8+2 then so late enough to be pretty sure if viable or not.

hope everyone else is having reassuring scans once they start. šŸ™‚
