@Nynm23 @RealTealQueen DH is going to the GP next week so I’ve tasked him with asking for at least 3 😂

They might not be the same pots though! My GP keeps different ones to the midwife and hospital! Wouldn’t you think there would be a standard design?!

Oh god I didn't even realise that was a thing 🙄😂 there wasn’t an opportunity to get more than one at my last appointment, she handed me the pot in my scan to go do there and then..
I’ll make sure I’m hydrated in case they want a different one when I get to the appointment 😅

Hello ladies. Looking for a hand hold! This pregnancy hasn't been easy. I got thrush (yes, lovely) and I used the pessary last night. This morning, just now, I felt something coming out and when I went to the toilet I noticed it was a tiny bit of pinky blood. No cramps, no increased bleeding, just a tiny bit of pink blood. I called the EPU and they said this can be normal when you have an infection and that they wouldn't worry. I trust them as I don't feel unwell at all, but I am a tiny bit worried as it is Friday and my experience of NHS support at the weekends isn't great. Any thoughts??

I was given progesterone pessaries and they almost immediately caused spotting for me too. I stopped using them after the third one and the spotting stopped and hasn’t come back. Obviously that’s not an option if you need the medicine (mine was only given because I asked - nurse said I probably didn’t need it). So I’d imagine it’s the pessary itself causing your bleeding. If it’s just a tiny amount, try not to worry.

I’ve just been having a nosey around other forums. The lovely ladies due in October are only on page 2 of thread 2. We’re obviously a more talkative bunch 🤣

I had a terrible time in my last pregnancy with thrush. I was prone to it and suffered most of pregnancy, so I really feel for you. I always got the same when taking the medication (pinkish blood - very faint). I hope this helps to reassure you a bit. Hope you feel better soon and that the pesky thrush is gone quickly!

We were the same. I’ve booked another one for tomorrow lunchtime! 🤣 I can’t wait another 5 weeks. X

Jadeypie · 18/07/2025 18:10

@peps2917 16 weeks xx

@RealTealQueen how many weeks are you now? Seriously why do they have to be so far apart haha miens 20th august! I did make sure it was first thing in the morning so I don't have to wait round all day xx

curliegirlie · 18/07/2025 18:40

I’ve had my dating scan - measured 12+2 with EDD of 28th Jan! It’s been a right palarva to get all the bloods - 2 attempts to get the standard bloods for my booking appt failed, so had to get them done today too, plus my combined test bloods (I’ve had the NIPT but they wanted them for the PAPP A results). In the end it took a nurse, a MW and an anaesthetist to attempt it, and the latter used a scan on my arm (to find the sodding vein!) and a cannula before it was finally all done and I could be sent on my way 😂

Aw I’m sorry to hear that, must have been awful. This is our first after a long time ttc so very grateful!
We don’t plan to find out so it’ll be a nice surprise when they arrive!

Sunshinemoom · 19/07/2025 10:52

After everyone being convinced I was having a girl due to my HG, had my gender scan this morning and having another little boy. Which I’m happy about. Baby healthy wiggling around and the last couple days I felt little movements which has been nice

mummywhatyoudoing · 19/07/2025 12:41

Just did my 12 week dating scan and surprise surprise I’m actually 9 weeks +4 today 😃
Anyone else experienced this? She just said I fell pregnant late in the cycle
also does this mean I’m due Feb now? 😅

MonsterBookOfTyson · 19/07/2025 12:44

Hi I haven't posted since the beginning of the first thread.
Just done my gender scan and it's a girl.

When I went for my scan I would have been 13 weeks according to my last period but actually measured 12 + 2. Also with my first pregnancy I dated a week ahead so no unheard off!

Yeah she did say the only way to really find out how far a long you’re is scanning.
First day of last period can be inaccurate
