I'm on the South coast but same as @WanderWalker I saw one at the hospital for the booking appointment then saw "my" midwife at the GP surgery at nearly 16 weeks. Next appointment isn't until 7 October when I'll be 23 weeks.

I’m south east and seen my midwife at booking appointment, then again at 16 weeks. She did book me in around 25 weeks but she shouldn’t have as not first pregnancy but I wasn’t complaining. I’ve also got consulted appointments coming up in September

@TigerLily38 I saw mine for my booking appointment and seeing her again tomorrow (I’m 18+3 now).

@WildFinch I’ve had super light cramps this week too but also shooting pains on the sides - I am assuming it’s round ligament pains. I wouldn’t worry about it! I know it’s hard though. I also haven’t been thinking twice about taking paracetamol - I don’t need it now but if it gets worse I will defo be taking it!

Second photo shoot at the 20 week scan today! Found out the placenta is anterior, which might explain the lack of kicks! Very reassuring and lovely to get a little wave from baba.

@WildFinch Ditto the above; I had some cramping and random tummy pains a couple of weeks back. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

@TigerLily38 Likewise, i've seen mine for the 12 and 16 week appointments and the next is in October x

Thank you @dubkitten - thankfully previous message booked an 8:50am scan so I've had it already, all was within normal ranges. Placenta is quite low down so they've said to keep an eye on it, but I've already got additional growth scans booked at 32 and 36 weeks so they said that would cover it. So relieved. I'm sure it'll only last a short time but I'll take it xx

Just to update - the scan has nothing to do with placenta placement and the secretary got it wrong 🙃 it’s a Doppler scan to check blood flow in the placenta and assess my risk of getting preeclampsia again (had it in my first pregnancy). Phew!

After a two week break not being sick it’s back in full force 😩

Oh no! Hopefully it doesn’t last too long

20w today so officially half way! Hopefully the second half goes smoother and quicker. Have my big scan next week and then looking forward to passing the 24 week milestone

I hope not. I’ve woken up with a sore throat so not sure if it’s that what causing the sickness again

Baby girl looking perfect at her scan today. Took the sonographer getting on the bed with me to get all the measurements but we got there 😂
@dubkitten we must be due date twins because I’m 20 weeks today too. Hoping to enjoy the second half of this pregnancy a bit more too 🤞🏼

I know this is silly to say since we’re all geographically different but I definitely feel like the bugs are on the rounds again. (Small sample size of my 4 year old suddenly having the snottiest nose going over the past couple of days and my feeling like death warmed up)

What I thought was morning sickness returning last week turned out to be a viral infection so it could be this

Oh maybe that’s what it is then 😩

I started with a sore throat a couple of weeks
ago and it developed into an awful cold. I was miserable for a week! Wishing you a speedy recovery. X

Jealous of seeing other people getting their 20 weeks scan! I’m 20 weeks on Tuesday and still no appointment has come through. I’ve just called them and they’ve said it’ll be closer to 22 weeks and I should get a letter soon 😢
I just want to see my baby again!!

Yeah I’ve woken up and my throat a lot worse today. Due to get my whooping cough today but I think they cancel even though I don’t have a fever! Rubbish can’t take anything for it Thank you! Xx
