My midwife said to phone up about any concerns, even if you’ve just been in. If you’re not happy, call them. It will save you worrying. X

That could be it but you won’t be able to relax until you know so it’s better for you and the baby to get checked instead of going through unnecessary stress

I've called and I'm back in to be checked out. Apparently it's super busy today so I'm having to wait in the post natal ward and can hear all the babies. Not helping the stress levels.

Hopefully all goes well. Keep us updated

Just got to triage now. Waiting to be seen. Took to much longer than expected to get home! But they told me to go straight in xx

Ahh @Jadeypie this reassured me so much, thank you!! 😅 was such a shock seeing the very right sided bump this morning but my mum made me feel better saying at least you know theyre moving around even if you can't feel it yet😅 on my scan last week they were very active too so thats a good point! X

@Moosey898 so sorry you've had this scare, sending a hug and hope all is ok when they check you out - at least you may get to see a sneak peek at baby again ❤️ I had a big bleed at 15w and was traumatised - was scanned in hospital and baby was happy and healthy, doing headstands! Had another follow up scan 2 weeks later and still all perfect, baby doing somersaults and waving its hands! Just wanted to give you some reassurance - I was desperately looking for these kind of stories when I was panicking back then. They found no cause for mine, so maybe it is just when we've done a bit too much like you say. Let us know how you get on, hugs xx

@Sunshinemoom glad you're home now and being seen ❤️❤️ I'm sure all will be absolutely fine, baby might just be playing hide & seek but I know how horrible the waiting feels when you're worried. Big hugs, let us know how you get on xx

@TigerLily38@Jadeypiebeen seen they found baby heartbeat. Was very strong. Took a little bit to find as he was on angle and low down, they said he might be kicking inward that’s why I haven’t felt him really. Got my 20 week scan Tuesday morning, they couldn’t get my scan any quicker than that which I’m ok with. They said if still not happy tomorrow then come back. They would prefer to see me million times and it be nothing then be stay at home thinking I’m wasting their time xx

Awww amazing news!!!! So happy for you, definitely worth going in for that relief and reassurance ❤️❤️ they're such little monkeys keeping us on our toes aren't they 😊 xx

I'm 19 weeks on Tuesday and still dont have a date for my 20w scan yet, I rang up earlier this week and they said they can see the appt has been waitlisted but not booked yet and to just wait for a text or call next week. Can't wait to get the date through as I want to know when I'll next see them🤭❤️xx

@Sunshinemoom so glad you are ok - I'm ok too, heard a healthy heartbeat. Waiting for the doctor now to do a cervix check. So relieved. Think my other half was even more relieved than I was!

I'm 17w and haven't felt anything yet this is my first though. Anterior placenta so hopefully will feel something soon! Definitely have a little bump when I lie on my back though. DH was blown away first time I showed him. He said it looks like a proper pregnancy bump. It's much harder on my right than on the left hand side. Also having aches and pains in my hips. Less than 2 weeks until 20 week scan now!

@Sunshinemoom oh lovely!! So glad for you. I was going to say my little monkey likes to lie facing my back so I think that's when I think he goes quiet coz hes kicking out into my back. Glad all is OK xxxx

That’s great @Moosey898, seems like this is the week for us all to get scares but you can never be too careful

I’ve had the same issue this weekend. Couldn’t feel baby at all and was really worried. Was scanned today and baby was moving all over, but inward! They just like to keep us on our toes already 🤣 glad everything was okay with you and baby xx

I’ve got loads of aches and pains too. Very achy bump and started with lower back ache too. Was expecting this in the 3rd not the 2nd! So it sounds like we are all feeling it, so must be fairly normal which is relieving to hear 😊

@TigerLily38thank you feel so much better going in and being checked. I knew it was because I’ve been non stop this weekend but happy they found his heartbeat at least don’t have to wait long to see him again. Hopefully you find out your scan asap!

@Jadeypieyeah makes sense as they still do little they still have all the room to move around.

im all achy as well. Backache definitely prominent been having daily baths which seem to be helping 🤞🏾 xx

Sorry to hear you have HG I can sympathise mine only just now at 20 weeks started to subside. Still get the odd nausea and sick but it’s so much better than what it was before. I don’t dare reduce any of my meds though 😅 congratulations for little girl 🩷 how do you feel for c section? I had emergency section with my first so opted for planned this time round

@Sunshinemoom still waiting - they are super busy today, but that's ok. Dealing with more priority cases so I'm happy to wait x

@Moosey898 so glad to hear all ok and you got to hear their heartbeat ❤️❤️ definitely did the right thing going in, they'd always rather you did. Hope your wait isnt too long for the cervix check ❤️

Thank you, it's hard to describe how bad it is to other people so when somebody already knows it's easier. I let the GP change my meds because they were making me so tired, it was a big mistake and I went back, better to be asleep than sick. Honestly I'm hoping I can have a normal delivery before a C-section is necessary. I'll be on blood thinning injections in a few weeks so fingers crossed. I feel like a lot of us could end up with Christmas or new year's babies 💝

I’m hoping mine stays put until after Christmas as it is my favourite time of the year and I’d rather not have to spend it recovering 😂

All done - cervix is long and closed and they couldn't see any more bleeding. Told me to call back if I get any more bleeding. Feeling relieved (probably for 24hrs before I get anxious about something again!)
