Thought i'd start a new thread as the other was full

I was a blubbering mess until he was lifted up across Simba style! It's bittersweet as to get to the theatre we went past the willow suite where my 17 weeks old baby boy second trimester loss was in. So my head was in a spin. But the team have been lovely and I also have the oramorh at my beck and call which helps! Love too all

@SnakebitesandSambucas that oral morphine is the bees knees!

He's just had his top to toe check and they found a rash that didn't pass the glass test. He has a rash he's getting a blood test as he could have an infection 😭. Back to my 🧠 exploding with terror xx

@Rainbowsunshine81 yeah not bad. Glad the catheter came out bloody hate them. Just getting him to latch and feed he's doing well so far x

@SnakebitesandSambucas I had my catheter is for 48hrs then it came out, was glad when it did. I've got sore nips and a few little cuts from where he hasn't latched properly so trying to correct that. We've been doing mixed feeding for the time being and see how that goes. I've ordered some sliver nipple cups to see if they help with the soreness.

@SnakebitesandSambucas it's good that it's been picked up on, not good for you though. There's always some worry isn't there.

Yes you’re in the best place @SnakebitesandSambucas hopefully it’s like a new born birth mark or something. I remember the sore nipples so much with my girl that’s why I have harvested some
colstrum before going in this time cuz her rubbish latch and then manual expressing just ruined me .. I plan on mixed feeding I do not want the pressure again with this one

Our son Roman arrived yesterday afternoon by unassisted spontaneous vaginal delivery. Feel very lucky to walk away with only two stitches this time! He kept us waiting almost 3 weeks longer than his sister and was still only 7lb 6oz (she was 6lb 11oz).

Still in the hospital his infection markers have come down. He's lost weight but feeding well. Lots of dirty nappies. I'm feeling a bit better. i cant stand pumping always found it more uncomfortable. This bloody heat though ....

How is everyone doing?
I've been put on antibiotics today for my section scar. It's been healing beautifully and is so neat but this morning it started stinging and became swollen on one side. Hoping it heals quickly, felt like I was just getting there with my recovery and this put me back a day or so as I've limited myself to the sofa today.

@Jess2826 not too bad, had a tough time yesterday as I've decided to stop breastfeeding, my friend came over last night to help with the recovery from stopping. Hasn't been a easy decision, but I know in the long run it will be.
I've had some pulling and discomfort from my c section incision, like quite tight one side which is the side the consultant was on and where she has tightened the stitches when finishing the operation. Have been taking paracetamol and diyhydro codeine when needed.

Hello everyone, I’ve been quite quiet because my baby has had some health difficulties. It’s all very unknown and stressful at the moment. Wishing everybody lots of love in these early weeks xx

@Rainbowsunshine81 glad your getting the support you needed. I definitely felt more tugging and pulling this time around on surgery. Rest up and enjoy those cuddles for free!!

@BodeAkuna hugs. My little one was battling an infection and that was scary enough. He's got the all clear now though. I hope the hospital and your family are helping you. Sounds very scary xxx

Me and baby boy are being discharged can't wait to go home. Miss my older kids!

Yeah they had to extended my orginal scar because she was breech and I had my tubes tied so they needed to chop away all the scar tissue first. They originally didn’t think they was going to be able to do it but they did so defo no more babies for me.

I’ve had to give little lady some bottle milk early morning she was just so tired but hungry and wasn’t getting what she needed from me so we had some milk in the night and some sleep after 🤣 I’m not stressing myself out with breastfeed if it works it works if it doesn’t it doesn’t I drove myself into the ground last time with it.

we are waiting a paediatric check and then we can go home. HB is still low so iron tablets can start again on Monday.
