I am glad to hear it's going well!
I started getting brown discharge yesterday and a little today and I am terrified. I keep researching it and it can be normal and it also could not be normal so I am freaking out. I might give EPU a call a little later today to see what they tell me but I am struggling with anxiety now 😔

Hi everyone, can I join please 🥰 got my BFP today! Going from LMP my due date is around 22nd Jan 2026. It's our first baby so I'm still in shock and processing it!! DH is working away until tomorrow so I've only told the dog 🤣

6+1. Booking appointment isn’t until June when I’ll be around 9 weeks so plenty of time for your GP to get one booked 😁

If it helps with my first pregnancy I felt really nauseous a lot of the time and had a lot of aversions but I didn't actually vomit a lot, I think only once?

Sorry @loveacaramellatte , I've never had anything similar so can't offer insight but that sounds super stressful.

I didn't even realise symptoms could start so early but I feel like I have a few already! Did anyone else have really early symptoms? X

My first too at 38- currently 4+4, Ive had really sore boobs, been really thirsty and I can smell everything, no sickness as yet, had some very light cramping and a little brown spotting that has started today, but trying not to worry about it, as ive read at this stage it can be normal.

Thanks for your reply and congratulations! 🥰 yes I've had a few friends have spotting early on too - one of them thought she was starting her period until it stopped suddenly and then she got a bfp! 🤣 hope it eases off for you soon, I'm sure it will x

I've got a banging headache that I can't shift and (sorry tmi) my boobs already look giant and so different to normal months! The headache could be because I didn't sleep a wink last night though - looking forward to an early night 🤣

Also peeing 24/7 which is not like me - I'm usually like a lorry driver and can go all day without needing to go🤣

That makes me feel better that it's not just me going crazy!! Feel like as soon as I've been I need to go again, just did the quickest food shop of my life worrying about it haha!

no literally this!!!! i go and then i’m like i could 100% go again i can’t go 20 minutes like especially if im up and walking around and im up at least 3 times at night 🤣

Oh, this is happening to me since yesterday! Very light brown light spotting. According to my last period I am 5 weeks today and I am really hoping it's nothing but it is making me very anxious as I have had a miscarriage in past.

Hey girls! I haven’t tested since 9 dpo I thinkkkk but period was due on Tuesday this week when I had some brown spotting that went away the same day and nothing since then? Last night I had twinging/tingling sensations in my lower right side pelvis/abdomen which I’ve not had yet? I think I ovulated later than expected as well so potentially period would be due today if I did? Has anyone had spotting on the day their period was due and ended up pregnant? Too nervous to test 🫣 x

I am having the constant thirst and constant needing to bee too!! Boobs are getting more painful by the day but so far no sickness. I made a plea to the pregnancy gods I won't complain about the sore boobs, tiredness, headaches or anything else if they can please just go easy on me on the sickness....

Hi! Slightly different but I started a very weird period the day my period was due. I have very short luteal phases though so I don't know if that impacts it as I'm not sure if my body has time to realise it shouldn't bleed. Or if it's heavy implantation or a chemical etc. I bled for four days and today I'm counting as first day not bleeding. Pregnancy test this morning was darker than the two previous days so fingers crossed.

I've done a ridiculous amount of googling and reading these threads to work out what is going on. It sounds like a lot of people have some bleeding during the first trimester. So wishing you lots of luck that it's nothing to worry about.

Oh I can imagine the stress but honestly does sound so normal, especially early on. Google doesn't do much to take that anxiety away though 💕 Did you end up calling EDU?

My spotting is still continuing today, brown/pinkish, no major cramps, but you often can't help thinking the worst- this is my first pregnancy so everything is new and scary. My understanding is that EPU don't scan until 6 weeks, can anyone confirm if this is correct, or does it depend on where you live/severity of symptoms etc?

It’s so hard not to worry and searching things up on google! In my experience they scanned after 6 weeks because around this time there is also a heartbeat. How many weeks are you now?

So im 4 weeks + 6 atm, and I have booked in a private scan for just after 7 weeks, just to make sure everything is ok- spotting seems to be subsiding for now 🙂

Just took a test and seen this 🥺 definitely think I ovulated a couple days later than I was predicted so unsure how to count how far I am? Period was due on Tuesday this week so guessing 4+2?

That's very clearly positive! Did you do a test before or was this your first one?

I think you count from the first day of your last period I'm assuming that's the 4+2? and then ovulation is a bit more iffy did you use ovulation tests? I don't think the hospitals care about that just the last period date, at least when I rang the epu yesterday to ask about the bleeding they were only interested in that date.

I'm 4 weeks today so looks like we might have a similar due date!
