Hi guys,

if like me you’ve just got your BFP, then it’s likely you’re due in January too!

@Tinytotdriver I'm so so sorry to hear that. How far along were you?x

Just over 9 weeks (just over 10 if going from first day of LMP but I know it should have been 9 due to length of cycles/when I ovulate) x

Thank you everyone & best of luck with your pregnancies, I’ll be leaving now x

Does anybody find that their symptoms come and go? One minute I'm exhausted and feeling this constant low level nausea, the next it's all gone and I wonder if it's all just in my head... Got a private scan booked this Friday when I should be 6w5 and I'm feeling convinced that there won't be anything on the screen!

I totally get this, I don't have very intense symptoms at all and I keep wondering if it's all in my head, even though I've tested positive and not had my period. Bring on the 12 week scan, only 5 weeks to do!

SureLook · 11/06/2025 13:07

Hi girls. Unfortunately it was bad news at my scan again this morning. There was just an empty sac with no embryo or yolk sac. They've booked me in again for next week to confirm but I'm gonna ring my EPAU today to see if I can come in to get the ball rolling on the inevitable a bit earlier. I'm feeling more pissed off at the moment then sad. Some slight comfort that at least there wasn't a poor little baby in there this time. It's still so shit though!

Sorry to hear it was bad news again. I’d do the same and call epu, it’s a bit pointless to wait around because they’d probably want to scan you a week apart too

I’m so sorry :( I completely understand the wanting it over with though, I was exactly the same last time. Hope you’re okay 💛

8+1 today, as others have said symptoms are very much coming and going. I’m really struggling with food at the moment, I’m SO hungry and craving sweet stuff, but if I have anything vaguely sweet (even fruit, or slightly sweet drinks) I feel nauseous. But the only thing that makes it better is eating 😭 I was lucky and had no nausea or anything with my first (had a million other problems but that’s a different story!!) so any tips and advice greatly welcomed!

Ive found sweet stuff makes me so ill but I also really want it!! Last night I ate some birthday cake, never again!!

It's all trial and error what makes me sick most things do but some are untouchable afterwards hahs.

Anyone else feeling massive? Like all of a sudden I feel huge defo mostly bloat but today in my summer dress I feel big xx

WanderWalker · 11/06/2025 16:27

I don’t seem to be getting notifications anymore for this chat so I have missed loads.

@seeingstars123 Sorry I can’t give any amazing advice. I have been the same, really struggling with any food. I need to eat as I feel nauseous, but then when I eat it makes me feel more sick. I am finding ice pops, hard boiled sweets or lollies take the edge off if I can’t manage actual food.

WanderWalker · 11/06/2025 16:28

@SureLook I am really sorry to hear that. Sending lots of love x

peps2917 · 11/06/2025 16:41

@seeingstars123 oh no!! I find that crisps help me cut the nausea so I have them before I have a small meal. I am having very bland things like pasta with tomato sauce or potatoes - all very boring. Have you tried sea bands?? They have helped take the edge off for me for sure. Sorry about feeling this way it’s so rubbish!

@SureLook i am so sorry to hear this. It sounds like you’re being proactive and pragmatic which is the best way. Best of luck with it all - and sending you lots of hugs xxxx

@seeingstars123 not sure if it's a good suggestion, but as I'm currently eating it, could avocado work? Slightly sweet slightly bland but very good for you.
