Hello September baby club.

Did a pregnancy test last night. Appeared negative. But then I checked again and Quelle Surprise! At like 7am this morning I looked it and a faint is half blue line. Going up . So glad I didn't throw it out.
Called the handsome hunk at work to tell him and we are both very happy. I should be 4 weeks Saturday. Yay.

This looks like an evap to me 😞 Have you dome another one? You need to read them within the time limit or they're void.

PickleThePenguin · 17/01/2025 17:54

Hi everyone

Just tested pregnant this morning and think I'm due 27th Sept! Period was due today but woke up with more nausea and sore boobs than last couple of days so decided to test. Feeling a mixture of excited and nervous!

FMc208 · 17/01/2025 18:33

I’m 4+3 today and have a very full, dull ache in my belly. Feels exactly like AF is coming. I vaguely remember feeling like this with DD in the first trimester but it’s still worrying nonetheless.

Anyone else feeling crampy?

thismotherhoodthing · 17/01/2025 18:57

@Melusina123 that's great so pleased for you. I felt the same, just relieved all present and correct for now but couldn't get ahead of myself. Keeping everything crossed

I've been given a booking appointment but it's on a day I have training at work, so I rang the number on the appointment letter, only to be told (after 15 minutes on hold) that they don't deal with midwife appointments. They gave me the number to ring, but when I rang I was told that that was also the wrong number but they gave me a 3rd number to ring. Rang that number and was on hold for half an hour before I gave up. At this rate I'll have had the baby before I manage to get a booking appointment sorted! 😐

I finally got it sorted today. It took ringing 6 different numbers and about 3 hours total but at least I've got a booking appointment I can attend now!

MyGardenDaisies · 17/01/2025 20:14

@FMc208 yes pulling, very very mild crampy feelings are normal x

I had that with my toddler and now too on and off most days.

very happy to enter 7th week of pregnancy tomorrow 🥰 and a week left till our scan!

Feeling very sleepy, gassy, had a bit of nausea in the morning and evening.

KittyFantastica · 17/01/2025 23:39

Glad everything is going well @Melusina123 it's lovely to get some reassurance at this stage.

Welcome and congrats @PickleThePenguin and @MrsH26!

Hi! Bit of a late joiner but I’m guessing I will be due the end of September! I’m breastfeeding my first still so my cycles are a bit all over, got these positives today on cd22 so I’m assuming I ovulated really early in my cycle without realising, I’m definitely shocked even though we’ve been trying a few months

Thanks @KittyFantastica @thismotherhoodthing ! It is nice, I am feeling a bit more optimistic, but not releasing any breaths just yet.

Hi everyone. I've had my BFP this week, I'm now 13dpo, lines are slowly getting darker but not super dark yet.

What do you do next? Do you wait a certain time before booking anything?

Last time I had a BFP it became a chemical in 2d so just don't want to get carried away.

chicke09 · 18/01/2025 12:55

When is everybody telling work? Don't know why I feel more nervous about telling work this time around 🙈

I think it’s up to you really, with my first I waited until about 7 weeks until I contacted the midwife, although they did moan at me for waiting too long 🤣 I booked a private scan at the same time for when I was 10 weeks

According to the NHS website you should tell them as soon as you find out. I rang the midwife at 13DPO! I got my
booking appointment and 12 week scan date through that day.

Mae2B · 18/01/2025 15:25

Thanks @BGxxx and @FMc208 for your replies. I might wait a week or so then as only 3+3 now, I'm just too scared to take the next step and get disappointed 😞

Sugarcube84 · 18/01/2025 16:31

I waited until I’d officially missed a period even though I knew at 9dpo

thismotherhoodthing · 18/01/2025 17:56

I'm 8 weeks today and feeling unbelievably sick! Felt nauseous from about 6 weeks but it has ramped up so much today. Last time I was pregnant it was 2021 so was working from home all the time - it's so different having to go into an office. Am wishing the weeks away

Sept25bub · 18/01/2025 20:28

👋
due date 22nd Sept according to Flo! 5 weeks.
I’ve found the week really hard as I have been so worried about potential loss. It’s my first pregnancy.
i was disappointed the dr said not to see them and book a midwife appt. That’s come through but not until week 10… which feels so long before anyone seeing me. What if I eat the wrong thing or do something I’m not meant to 🤣
Want to be excited but feel like it’ll be 12 weeks before I can relax.
Super happy though!

MyGardenDaisies · 18/01/2025 22:50

I’m gonna tell work around the 12 week scan time, likely once I’ve had it or the test result back.

6+2 tomorrow and more frequently feeling nauseous and absolutely knackered all the time!
so far same symptoms as with my baby so guessing the gender might be the same! We shall find out end of April! Exciting 🥰

Mooey89 · 19/01/2025 09:59

@KittyFantastica im so so sorry to hear about your loss.

Mooey89 · 19/01/2025 10:01

@Sept25bub I’ve booked a private scan for 7 weeks to reassure me that everything is growing as it should. Might be worth considering?

EmsyBlue · 19/01/2025 10:43

Hi ladies, mind if I join? Due 23 September apparently! I’m 37 and this is baby no 1 for us so this is all very new. Came looking for reassurance on cramps and some light pulling but looks like it’s quite normal according to the boards and Flo. Phew! I’m usually a very laid back person but these early days have got me stressing over every twinge 😅

Mooey89 · 19/01/2025 11:26

@EmsyBlue im 35, this is my second baby but my son is 12 so feels all new!
the cramping is normal, I’ve had the exact same thing.
im due sept 17th (although I suspect a little later). Hope you’re feeling well so far.

BGxxx · 19/01/2025 11:57

I’ve had some spotting this morning as well as cramping so I’m guessing its not a good sign. I know it can be normal in early pregnancy but as I’m still breastfeeding I’m guessing it might be a progesterone issue

IVFlife · 19/01/2025 12:30

Hello. Can I join this thread? My app says I would technically be due 2nd October but there isn't an October thread yet and in all honestly I doubt due to various risk factors I would be allowed to go that far so I'm 99% sure I'm September anyway!

I have had ivf so I am only 5dp5dt (5 days past a transfer of an embryo that was 5 days old).

This is is our 2nd ivf pregnancy, had a miscarriage last year and am on blood thinners now as well as estrogen and progesterone due to tests showing I had high clotting antibodies.

Nice to meet you all!

Sept25bub · 19/01/2025 12:49

Yes, I think I might, £75-85 seems worth it for reassurance! :)
