I was on the May Facebook group as well, but I left when I had a lot of bleeding In the first trimesterand presumed it was a miscarriage, then I asked to be sent the invite again but It didn’t happen. How exciting that babies are starting to arrive even though that is quite early!

I've messaged you a link, no idea if it'll work because I'm not an admin but might be worth a try? :)

Beccaa123 · 27/03/2025 11:16

Thanks! I think I might phone the labour ward & see if they want me to come to hospital today

BodeAkuna · 27/03/2025 11:17

Oh thank you thebeesknees! Let me look now

Dullblue1234 · 27/03/2025 11:34

My last "working" day is tomorrow 🥳 so ready for it!

SnakebitesandSambucas · 27/03/2025 11:40

Hi 👋🏻 could I have a FB link please. Yes our MAU always says it's not always about the movementz but a change in your babies behaviour. You will never regret a check! My baby is so active all the time so it's the norm. You said your baby was quiet so their movements have changed. A half hour hookup on the ctg monitor is nothing in the long run 😁🙂

Please could I have a link too 😊

Toothfairy0113 · 27/03/2025 13:02

Could I get the link too please :D

I've just had a look and i've only got 15 working days left after today 😱 Feels much closer when I look at it like that rather than the 5 weeks i'd been looking at it as!! I'm due 19th May but my last working day isn't until 1st May 🤦‍♀️😅

SnakebitesandSambucas · 27/03/2025 13:13

Thanks can't open the link in the mobile browser oh well lol. Just been a lazy morning as being sick for most of it. If I don't move breath or blink I won't throw up. 😬. Getting fed up now x

microwoods · 27/03/2025 13:22

7 working days left for me! My last working day is 17 April but I only work three days and have a couple of days of leave in there. I’ll be 35+6 but my DD came spontaneously at 37+4 last time and my contractions started on my last day of work so I’m hoping to get more of a break this time round.

To complicate matters we decided to put our house on the market a few weeks ago (thought it might take a while to sell) but we accepted an offer above asking a week later and we are yet to even view another property, let alone put any offers in! So I’m stressing slightly about that. We may well be moving with a very small baby & toddler 🙃

BrightGoose · 27/03/2025 13:43

My last shift is Monday… then I’m on leave, made sense with Easter holidays approaching and still have so much to do.

TheBeesKnee · 27/03/2025 14:09

Oooh I am very jelly, I'll be working until 24th April then my CS is scheduled for 1st May 🤣

I still haven't had my paperwork etc from HR which is kind of stressing me out.

Rainbowsunshine81 · 27/03/2025 16:50

Got my pre op appointment yesterday for my c section and the date for my c section, 7th of may on what would have been my dad's birthday ❤️ 6 weeks yesterday, became very real ❤️

SnakebitesandSambucas · 27/03/2025 18:14

Wow! Can't wait to get my appointment. What a extra lovely day to have memory wise!

Rainbowsunshine81 · 27/03/2025 19:59

@SnakebitesandSambucas most definitely ❤️ I did start to well up on the phone yesterday when they said I could have that date ❤️

SnakebitesandSambucas · 27/03/2025 20:04

Aww I have just been browsing the baby name boards on here! If your having a boy you could use your dad's name as a first or middle? My eldest was a boy so his middle name is after my deceased grandad. My youngest a girl so named after dad's mum (alive). Not sure about this one. I have a definite girls name but struggling with a boys name!!!

LozC0411 · 27/03/2025 20:16

I’m having my boys middle name as my grandad who passed, and it’s also my brothers name🥰 it’s such a lovely idea

Rainbowsunshine81 · 27/03/2025 21:34

My son, his middle name is my dad's middle name he passed away in 2007 and this new little boy his middle name is going to be after my brother who passed away in 2014 ❤️

microwoods · 27/03/2025 22:05

Lovely to read about these middle names! DS is having two middle names, from both of our fathers. DH’s dad passed away 10 years ago, and my dad is alive but dealing with terminal cancer.

My DD’s middle name wasn’t sentimental at all! We just chose a name we liked the sound of 😂 feels like a missed opportunity now

SnakebitesandSambucas · 27/03/2025 22:10

Yes I've decided this time around no links to either side. But I'm going to be inspired by my love of literature, arts etc. 😊.

Rainbowsunshine81 · 27/03/2025 22:52

@microwoods I'm sorry to hear about your dad. We got news that my mum in law has between 3 to 6 months to live, the cancer started in the pancreas and is also in the liver. Shit things seem to happen to decent people ❤️

Toothfairy0113 · 28/03/2025 09:24

I've had to resort to trying to make my own costa-style frappe this morning coz a fiver a time isn't an affordable long term habit 🫠🤣

TheBeesKnee · 29/03/2025 20:30

I went for a walk with DP and DS tonight and he was walking so fast and I was keeping up until I wasn't - had a sharp pain then had to sit down for a bit and waddle slowly home. Last time I'm walking with him this year I think!

I've found i've been getting quite a lot of round ligament pain again recently especially after alot of walking/movement. I walked to pick my girls up from school on Monday - a 15-20 minute brisk-ish walk pre-pregnancy that I obviously thought I was still capable of but definitely wasn't...... Took us almost 40 mins to walk back home at a more suitable pace 🤦‍♀️😅

SnakebitesandSambucas · 29/03/2025 21:53

@Rainbowsunshine81 ❤️ awful news.

Found a pregnancy / feeding pillow brand new for a fiver in charity shop so seeing if that helps at night.

It's hills or inclines for me atm. Making me feel queasy!

Rainbowsunshine81 · 29/03/2025 22:10

@TheBeesKnee I've definitely developed a waddle! My husband holds my hand so I can keep up with him or sometimes I'll have to walk a bit behind lol.
