Continuing on from the first thread....For all those pregnant ladies due in May 2025

In what sense? Just symptoms in general?

this morning I had the most horrible episode I felt sick faint heart palpitations thought something was wrong then I remembered I took vitamin this morning (not at night) like I normally do and panic over. I’m really suffering with pelvic pain between my legs right on the side bones of my vagina 🤣 in the morning getting dressed is horrible but I does wear off…

You said you don't know if you have been having Braxton Hicks or not, just asking what its felt like for you is all :)

Oh I see, I've just been wondering if I've maybe had them and not put two and two together.
But the way they've been described I've not experienced that.

@Beccaa123 Midwife has said I can see her every two weeks which is reassuring for me. I've got some maternity pads, breast pads, cotton wool balls and cotton wool pads, nappy cream, nappy bags when I've been out and about.
I follow Mrs hinch on Instagram and took a screenshot of what She packed in her hospital bag. Will try and add a picture.

From my previous experience essentials were a cheap pair of flip flops for showering after birth as well I don’t think that’s on her list and different variations of pants in very big sizes

@BrightGoose Oh yes, forgot about the flip flops for the shower. I didn't use disposable pants last time, but might do this time.

Everyone is so organised! I will start doing a bag once I get my C-section date. I am getting a lovely bump though. Tempted to get a maternity photo shoot as it's my last pregnancy!! Anyone else had one done before?

@SnakebitesandSambucas I'm getting a pregnancy photo shoot in April. I didn't when I was pregnant with our first son and I wish I had.

@Rainbowsunshine81 yes I do regret not doing it for my other 2. But I was so terrified. Don't have a lot of photos of being pregnant either! Can't win!

@SnakebitesandSambucas I know, I was like that too. I had a couple of pictures and then one which was taken on the day I was going to have my c section.

I think it's balancing positivity also being very poorly. Plus the anxiety. I'm going back to my group which is fun. They had a break over Xmas and I really missed it!

Well that positivity quicky went down the drain. In hospital as baby hasn't wanted to move all day! So I'm hooked up to a monitor baby looks good. But because my pregnancy is so high risk I'm getting a doctor's opinion as well!

Hi @Beccaa123 yes got discharged last night. Baby is fine it's me that's poorly. Officially into my third trimester! But surreal!

I’m now 31weeks and yesterday I started feeling a lot of pressure low down. The few days before baby was quite active with bigger kicks and punches higher up but that doesn’t seem to be the case now. I feel like I constantly need a wee like baby is pushing on my bladder. Has anyone experienced this?

I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so hopefully she can put my mind at ease.

@Beccaa123 woo when is your due date? I'm having C-section so mine is earlier! @Dojo13 I haven't had any bladder pressure but only 27 weeks. Could be baby has shifted position. But always ask a midwife or mau if concerned!

I'm due 21st May, but will probably be induced around 38 weeks due to her size.

@Beccaa123 I'm 28th may! So will be early by about week or two. Never had a summer baby before got my pram now. Still haven't unpacked any baby clothes!

@Dojo13 i have exactly this. I’m 30+2. Pressure very low down and very painful on my bladder. Movement is mostly pretty low down too. I’ve had a little of what I think are Braxton Hicks which is bizarre to me as this is my 3rd and I’ve never experienced them before. Like you I’m thinking about speaking to my midwife. I’m pretty sure all is ok and there’s certainly not enough concern on my end for me to phone mat assessment but I think my mw putting my mind at rest would help. I’m also really suffering from 3rd trimester fatigue now! Feel barely any energy to do anything (and when I do the sciatica holds me back 🙈)

@Dojo13 I've been feeling pressure low down and feel like going the toilet a lot, apparently baby boys head is in my pelvis, so that could explain why and as baby gets bigger too.

Just wait for the fanny daggers! Makes bladder pressure seem a walk in the park! Yes the fatigue is very strong.

@Rainbowsunshine81 @Poster57 sounds like it’s pretty normal then 🙏🏻 will keep you posted on what the midwife says tomorrow.

I had only just started getting the bigger movements with my anterior placenta which is why I noticed such a change but he was probably moving head down or something on those couple of days where it was all elbows and feet!
