Hey everyone. I can't see a May due date group yet. I am in the April 2025 chat as DD based on LMP puts me due at Apr 15. However I have varying length cycles and think I didn't ovulate until CD 30ish. Guessing I'm actually due May 2nd based off temps. Everyone in the April chat are much further along and hoping to find some people earlier in their pregnancies to chat to :) x

@BlueberryPoppy123 I wondered when a May group would appear. I have recently had a bfp and got 1-2 weeks on a clear blue. I had a mc back in July and haven't had af yet so not sure exactly on dates but it's definitely May 🤞

BlueberryPoppy123 · 26/08/2024 19:21

@YYY-85 I got my first bfp last Monday. I think of I was due earlier I'd have got a positive earlier so going with my temps that I'm due May 2nd. Hoping to book an early viability scan to put my mind at ease as had a mmc with my 2nd pregnancy and so worried it could happen again and to get a better idea on DD
This is my 4th pregnancy and will be baby 3 🥰

YYY-85 · 26/08/2024 19:35

This is my 4th pregnancy but only had 1 DD who is 6. I'm currently under the mc clinic so will ring them tomorrow to see about early scans and if I need progesterone. I really want to think positive about it but it's hard too.

Hi all, jumping on as I had a BFP at the weekend. Have a long history of endometriosis and took years to conceive our 2 year old DS. Had been trying for over a year for our second and were about to consider fertility treatment when got our BFP at the weekend! From my cycle dates looks like due date is early May. It actually hasn't sunk in yet, still feels surreal. Congrats to you all, fingers crossed it all goes well for all of us 🥰

Dojo13 · 26/08/2024 20:12

Hi guys, I’m technically due April but not until 30th according to Flo so think I’m closer in dates here than the April group 😊

This is my second pregnancy following a miscarriage a couple of months ago at 9w2d, baby didn’t grow past 6 weeks. I’m currently 4w5d and have been feeling very nauseous today and the odd bit over the past few days. I’m hoping it’s a good sign as I didn’t really get that during my previous pregnancy. I haven’t really had sore boobs at all though which is worrying me as it seems to be the main symptom. Also been very tired which was the same last time. Some days are worse than others.

Hoping I’m just overthinking things! 🤞🏻

I know it’s pretty early days but how are you all feeling? If you’ve not had any yet, what sort of symptoms did you have with your other pregnancies?

BlueberryPoppy123 · 26/08/2024 23:23

@GunesM how come you're feeling terrified is it just the large age gap? Or anything else talking about could calm you down maybe?

@YYY-85 I completely get that and I've only had the one loss can't imagine how stressful this stage must be for someone with recurrent mcs. Keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome for you hopefully this is a sticky baby

@Lilypad121 congrats I think I recognise your name from the TTC group.

@Dojo13 I'm pretty paranoid as I don't seem to be getting symptoms like I've had in my previous 3 pregnancy's. My first symptom is upset stomach. Every single pregnancy I've had a such a bad belly around the time I get my bfp but not this time. Then comes the nausea. I get nausea quite often anyway and I'm struggling to work out if I have it more than usual I think maybe but don't know if I'm willing to have it more so I have a symptom. The other symptom I get early on is usually tiredness and although I'm shattered I think that's more to do with my draining 4 year olds energy levels 😂

The whole situation is terrifying my I suffer anxiety anyway so my overthinking is in overdrive.. my age now 37 worries me having a 4th c section terrifies me and the impact it may have on my 3 older children youngest being 10 its all i can think about right now anyone have any copeing methods for irrational thought's and fears? Also the financial strain it may cause etc I just can't pass the negative thoughts right now and its making me feel so lonely and down. Congrats to everyone else on the group x

I feel like I feel you're woes am 37 and have kids 16 13 and 10 this will also be my 4th c section so i am terrified my anxiety has peaked and im just not having a nice time right now. Hope someone can give us some positives x x

BlueberryPoppy123 · 27/08/2024 10:21

I'm 35 I have a 12 year old and a 4 year old. They'll be 13 and 5 when this one arrives though. Although I've woken today with a gut feeling something isn't right. I hope I'm wrong but this pregnancy feels so much different to all my others even my mmc. I don't feel pregnant at all. I've done so many tests and they're all positive but I don't feel like I'm getting much progression. I swear others have darker lines by now. Might by a clear blue today the ones that say how far you are. I desperately want a scan😫

BlueberryPoppy123 · 27/08/2024 10:43

Just booked a scan. They recommend not scanning before 6 weeks as you probably won't see he heartbeat before. So based off all the different dates I have I thought best go with the latest due date where I would be 6 weeks. Now just the long wait til next Friday! I am praying this one stays sticky

I’m 40 with a 4 year old and 1 year old. Got. BFP a few days ago but I’m scared as I usually am with a positive test as I’ve had four different types of losses so it’s always just a feeling of what type of loss will it be this time and how far along.

emberbell · 27/08/2024 11:32

Hi everyone,

I have a similar due date: 3rd May. I'm a first timer, pretty confused by all the lingo and quite scared to be honest. I naively thought calling my doctor after I found out would be the right thing to do but they reacted as if no pregnant woman had ever tried to inform their GP of this before and were very thrown off! In the end they told me to self refer to a midwife which is what I have done and I'm waiting to hear back. I'm so desperate to talk to a medical professional, I really just don't know what I'm doing. I've had to google every abbreviation in this thread so I now know what a bfp is haha😅

In terms of how I'm feeling so far I've got the sore boobs but no nausea so far. When have people decided they will tell their loved ones? I'm finding it very hard to keep a secret! Lots of love to all of you, we've got this 💪💕

photomoto · 27/08/2024 12:07

Can I join? I'm 4.5 weeks - due 2 May. Been trying for 18 months. It was exhausting process! Had book IVF but found out I was pregnant before we began! It's my second. Have a DD4. I haven't really got any symptoms. Does anyone have any morning sickness yet?

Sunflower2244 · 27/08/2024 12:26

Hi everyone, found out at the weekend I'm pregnant for the third time 😬😬. I currently have a 4 and 3 year old and as much as it's a lovely surprise and something we wanted, it's become a bit of a shock.

I am due the 29th April but went overdue on previous pregnancies so definitely this will be a May baby!! Due to it being our third I feel like so much is going to need to change so I'm struggling to get my head around it all.

Big love to you, hope the scan goes well when you have it. So far the only thing I'm feeling is my boobs are sore and I'm tired. I can't remember how I felt in previous pregnancies and just feel like I have to get on with it due to the other children (we don't want them to know yet due to my DS no doubt telling everyone there is a baby in mummy's tummy!!)
It's so tough but stay strong.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 27/08/2024 14:41

@Herewegoagain8 hope this time round doesn't end that way and you get a happier ending.

@emberbell I was the same with all the abbreviations to begin with and some I couldn't work out and just asked people. I just want to make sure baby is there with a heart beat before telling family. Tbh I don't know why I wait because I will need my family if it ends badly. I still haven't told anyone but my husband. It's so hard to hold it in and not shout it. With my past 2 babies I've announced after the 12 week scan. This time I think I'd like to wait a bit longer though. Mainly because I don't really want to tell work and them stop me doing half of my job because they go a bit overkill with health a safety when you're pregnant. But we shall see.
My trust say they will be in touch around 9 weeks so I'm expecting them to be in touch within the next 2 weeks as they go by lmp and won't listen to my ovulation info.
@photomoto that's the same date I believe I'm due. Not really got any symptoms don't feel pregnant at all.
@Sunflower2244 we've been trying around 5 months and it only hit me after the bfp how many changes were going to need to make in the house to accommodate 3 children 😂 even down to the car my poor 12 year old is going to be squished between 2 car seats 🙈 I can't wait to tell my boys but my 4yo will tell everyone and their aunt. I did think of taking them a long to my scan but Incase it's bad news it's probably best they aren't there x

Hi - hoping to join
I had a positive at the weekend and due date says 30th April but my first (8 months) was 8 days late

Bubblegu04 · 27/08/2024 15:57

Another cautious joiner here! I’m somewhere between 4 and 5 weeks and due early May. Congratulations everyone! @Boymama85 i have a 9 month old baby, how do you feel about the close age gap? I’m panicking slightly 😂

BlueberryPoppy123 · 27/08/2024 16:10

@Boymama85 welcome and congrats. Both of my boys were late. 15 days late for my first and just 5 for my second. Kinda hoping this one's early as we have a family party on the 10th May 4 hours away and that's not a drive I'd like to do overdue 😂

@Bubblegu04 congrats. I'd have loved a small gap but husband took so long to win over. I'll have a 13yr and 5yr gap 😬

OP posts:
photomoto · 27/08/2024 16:27

It doesn't feel real and I'm trying not to get my hopes up but also excited at the same time. I'll feel better after 12 week scan I think. I don't feel pregnant at all either. I was five weeks when I found out with DC1 and used to beat myself up for not knowing sooner but now I totally get it!

Also panicking a little but hopefully it'll be a good thing in the long run!
How are you feeling?

Oooft I don't think I could have done 4 hours in the car overdue either
My husband was marching me round Cheshire Oaks to get baby moving last time!

Sunflower2244 · 27/08/2024 17:25

@Bubblegu04 and @Boymama85 I have an 18 month gap between my 1st two and it's lovely and hard in equal measures.

I just used to nap when my DS napped during my second pregnancy and just tried to get as much rest as possible which isn't easy with a little one but certainly doable. Plus any family is a great help for support too.
