May 2025 babies

Hey everyone. I can't see a May due date group yet. I am in the April 2025 chat as DD based on LMP puts me due at Apr 15. However I have varying length cycles and think I didn't ovulate until CD 30ish. Guessing I'm actually due May 2nd based off temps. Everyone in the April chat are much further along and hoping to find some people earlier in their pregnancies to chat to :) x

@TheBeesKnee my teeth are sensitive too! And I've got a mouth ulcer on the roof of my mouth 🙈🙈 not had one in years

I've been posting on the other May babies thread haha (I think this one was started the day after that one...) but just had a quick read of this and saw your post and wanted to let you know I've had a teeny bit of spotting and cramping too and doctor told me it's normal :) Also saw a first trimester vlog where a girl had regular spotting and she was told some people have it throughout pregnancy, so doesnt mean anything bad necessarily :) The doc just told me that if you have intense cramping or more bleeding then to let them know but I haven't... just on going mild cramps and no sign of any more blood

Thank you for the reassurance 🙏🏻 I’m hoping I was just panicking. I don’t think I have had any spotting so hopefully the cramps and backache are just a hormones thing. I’ve only had slight cramps today. I wasn’t going to do an early scan this time but I might book one in just before my midwife appointment so I know. That’s not until 27th September when I’ll be 9w2d. Really hard to enjoy these first weeks isn’t it. Why does no one ever mention the first trimester anxiety!

I know, the anxiety has hit me hard too, totally wasn't prepared for this element of pregnancy.
I've got my first midwife appointment in 2 weeks, when I'll be 7weeks 3 days but think I'll have a private early scan at 8 weeks...

@TheBeesKnee & @Dullblue1234 I don't have sensitive teeth but I have started grinding my teeth again. I sleep with my jaw clamped so tight I have jaw ache in the morning 🤦‍♀️ always ground my teeth with my 4yo too.

6 weeks tomorrow and have my first scan. Hoping to see that little fluttering heartbeat even if baby is not much more than a blob. Not heard any more about when my booking in app is and midwifes think I'm due almost 3 weeks ahead so surprised they've still not contacted me.

@BlueberryPoppy123 pregnancy is just a roller coaster of strange side effects isn't it 😂😂
I'm knackered today 🙈🙈 kinda second guessing myself because no nausea yet, and I was very very poorly with my first - although I looked back and it didn't happen til around 7 weeks.

I honestly feel like I'm on a boat. Why was I complaining about lack of symptoms last week 😂 I've slept most of the day I can not function. My stomach is doing summersaults and then I keep burping which brings up the sick. I lay down and it subsides then I move and it starts again. 🤮

Worried about work this weekend because I have not functioned all day. Less than 12hours and I should have seen my baby Chia 🥰 trying not to get my hopes up but realistically they've been up the last 3 weeks 😂

BFP yesterday at 12dpo. This is my 2nd and to be honest, I'm in shock! Definitely thought I was out this month so processing this news quietly. Going to wait a few days to tell DH😂

Tentatively joining. Estimated due date 18th May. Baby number 3, not planned so still trying to get my head around it

@WildWhirlwind so I was a day earlier than I thought but with bbt I just knew roughly. Saw a faint flutter of a heartbeat which she said is good as some hearts don't start beating until as late as 7.5 weeks🥰 measuring 5w 6days and due 3rd of May. Sonographer suspects I have polycystic ovaries and that's why I was having 50+ day cycles. All was as it should be for this gestation. Thankyou for thinking of me x

I’m also getting confused between the two threads 🙈 a WhatsApp group would be much easier to follow @Boymama85. I was in one while pregnant with DD and it was such an amazing supportive space!

I'm up for a Whatsapp group I was in one for my 4 year old and it was great. It used to blow up sometimes though lol had hundreds of messages Everytime I checked my phone. The other group have set up a Facebook page too. It's quite hard to join though they have an invite link but it isn't working for everyone I had to join via an email request. Or if you add someone as a friend in FB they can invite you to it x

With my first we started off on Facebook then a couple of WhatsApp groups formed off the back of that, e.g. for those of us up in the wee hours with babies who would not sleep. But I don't think it was until we were on our 3rd or 4th threads! I also can't seem to join the Facebook group so I'm happy to carry on on Mumsnet? I don't want to end up talking to myself on here 😅

I am feeling so fatigued, I have spent the day doing nothing and I'm still tired. I'm practically falling asleep on the sofa.

I did another test this morning and yep still pregnant.

My partner's just been offered a promotion at work but it comes with exams which naturally clash with our due date. Everything happens all at once, doesn't it?

Don't they just! My husband ha paid for a stag week (who even has a stag week) he was off to Prague from the 9th of May and baby is due the 3rd 🙈 he's now cancelled his trip.
We do have to travel 4 hours to Warrington on the 9th of May though so hoping baby isn't late like my other 2 or I can see myself giving birth on the m6 ha

From my last pregnancy people stayed on mumsnet for a few threads then fizzled our onto the Facebook group. So hopefully you won't be here alone x

We have a holiday we're going to have to cancel and lose £900 on flights 🙈 I'll be too pregnant to safely fly. Oh well, It'l be worth it 🥰

Hey everyone! Found out I'm pregnant with our first baby this week - still super early days, but very exciting nonetheless!! ☺️ due around mid-May based off my last period 🙈

@heartheart89 have you already got travel insurance? Could you get it now then claim on the insurance later to recoup some funds? Or change the dates maybe x
