Hey everyone. I can't see a May due date group yet. I am in the April 2025 chat as DD based on LMP puts me due at Apr 15. However I have varying length cycles and think I didn't ovulate until CD 30ish. Guessing I'm actually due May 2nd based off temps. Everyone in the April chat are much further along and hoping to find some people earlier in their pregnancies to chat to :) x

@Bubblegu04 and @Boymama85 I have an 18 month gap between my 1st two and it's lovely and hard in equal measures.

I just used to nap when my DS napped during my second pregnancy and just tried to get as much rest as possible which isn't easy with a little one but certainly doable. Plus any family is a great help for support too.

There's 17 months between me & my sister. We can be the best friends or worst enemies in the same day but I think that's just our personalities.

PeachEagle · 27/08/2024 18:18

can I join, just found out I’m pregnant today,
I had a mmc in February at 10 weeks!
I do have 2 little boys already 7 & 3 I’m already not been feeling 100% and a bit sick which I haven’t had this early in any 3 of my pregnancies, so think it’s gonna be a rough ride!

Hi everyone,

I'm 18 weeks pregnant on Thursday and just recently I've been getting this dull ache when I press on the area below my tummy, just before the down below area. Can somebody give me an idea on what this is or if it is normal because it's making me panic. This is my first baby so I'm just anxious about everything. I'm absolutely fine when not pressing on it and when I do press, it isn't painful. But I just want some ideas as to what it could be? My first thought was the baby putting pressure on that area but I just don't know and I'm a bit scared. Thank you xx

Is there a triage number in your file? Maybe give them a call and ask for some advice.

Oooft I don't think I could have done 4 hours in the car overdue either
My husband was marching me round Cheshire Oaks to get baby moving last time!

With my first my sister was driving me around the cobbled streets I used to go for massive walks over the hill each day still didn't come little sod. Although once he was born they said he looked like an early baby.

2nd was through COVID so couldn't really go anywhere to try get him moving faster 😂 so glad we have no pandemic this time round! 😂😂

Also just took this... At this point I'm just throwing money down the toilet 😂 this has to be about my 20th positive test but confirms what I thought that I was actually only just 4 weeks not the 7 my LMP puts me at. I've told my husband he needs to hide the remaining tests I have 🙈 it's not helping testing so much

Hi everyone, jumping onto this thread too as I think I should be around 4+4 weeks as my cycle app is giving me a due date of 3rd May 🙂

I've had two mc in the last year so I'm joining cautiously but I want to keep positive and talk pregnancy and babies with other ladies! Part of me also thinks it would be easier to try and forget I'm pregnant as I'm not experiencing any symptoms yet, but I can't help obsessing over the idea that this might be the one!

Fingers crossed for smooth journeys ahead for all of us xx

I could have written this myself. I'm only very early but just wanting to think positive but it's just so difficult too.

I've got everything crossed that it's all of our times.

Haha it didn't work
Ended in a failed induction and c section

I've got a fear of c sections. The thought of having to be cut open scares me so much. I'm planning on a home birth for this bubs. Got my birth pool still from the last pregnancy and it's desperate to be used 😂😂

Hi everyone! I found out at the weekend I am pregnant, due May. After a miscarriage earlier in the year, where I just 'felt' something was off, I am choosing to believe this one will work out.

@BlueberryPoppy123 I would love a home birth! But I live in a flat and would probably be paranoid about the noise. I think the hospital near me has a pool? I don't know, I've never given birth, but that'd be my preference!

BrodieKD · 28/08/2024 07:27

Hi everyone - I am pregnant with baby number 2. I think I might be due 1st or 2nd May. I'd love some company!

I actually started a May group not realising this was here! Is it ok if I tag some of the members as this is more active? X

PinkPombear1 · 28/08/2024 09:53

@YYY-85 It's a complete mixed bag of emotions isn't it!

I decided to ring up the EPU this morning though and they've very kindly got me booked in for bloods and will also book me in for a 6 week scan. I'm very surprised as I thought they wouldn't be able to do anything so early but I'm hoping for some reassurance as I'm not sure I can play the waiting game!

You can still home birth in a flat. My neighbours didn't even realise I have birth it was only when the ambulance showed up they wondered what had happened. I gave birth in my bath with the window open and could hear them in the garden throughout 😂

Yes tag away :)

I've had a message from the booking in team this morning (assuming it's so early where going off my LMP I would be due April 15th)

Also realised I messed up booking my 6 week scan 😫 assumed my son would be at school but he has a half day so now trying to change my appointment time but no one is answering the phone. Hope I can change as I've already paid 😭

@BlueberryPoppy123 haha, that's a great story and glad you managed to keep it incognito!

Hey’ I think I’m due about May 12th or 10th based on my short cycle so not even 4 weeks quite yet. Have 2 DC but this will be pregnancy #5. Pregnancy 1 was a MMC and Pregnancy 4 I had a terrible reaction to the progesterone rise … long story. Anyway that loss was December/January and here we are expecting out much wanted #3 to add to our wee team. I’m admittedly anxious on and off but excited too. We’ve always wanted 3 but I definitely think it’s been the hardest to navigate in the early stages!

PeachEagle · 28/08/2024 15:59

@Poster57 I'm due on the 10th also very short cycles however I’m assuming I’ll go early again as I’ve had 2 premature babies previous (one 36 weeks one 35 weeks)
This will be my 3rd baby too but 4th pregnancy as I had a loss in February!
what ages are your current 2

Poster57 · 28/08/2024 16:54

@PeachEagle how lovely to hear from you. My current two are 4 and 2. They’re such fun but obviously still young so keep me on my toes! What age are your two? I love to hear about others having or had their 3rd - in some ways it feels society expects you to stop at 2 but it doesn’t quite feel like we’re all here yet.

PeachEagle · 28/08/2024 17:19

@Poster57 my 2 are 7 & 3 (will be 8 and 4 by the time next one comes along!) They are at interesting ages but will play so nicely together now so makes life easier!
I always thought I’d be done after 2 but I just didn’t feel done, anytime I mention a 3rd people always so oh trying for a girl then it’s so infuriating! I’d be happy with 3 boys

As a mum of 2 boys I always get the same. Do you want to try again for a bit of pink eurgh it proper irks me. Happy with a healthy baby. I'd not dislike a girl but I'd also be overjoyed with a 3rd boy!

@BlueberryPoppy123 it’s awful people saying it all time, really annoys me can imagine when we announce will get even worse!

Poster57 · 28/08/2024 19:39

@PeachEagle @BlueberryPoppy123 totally get that. It’s infuriating. I actually have a boy and a girl so I get the ‘so you’re done now’ bit which is along the same lines. 🙄🙄

so interesting hearing how your two get on @PeachEagle. My kids have less than two years between them and get on like a house on fire, this will only be 3 years (I’d have liked it to be less) which obviously isn’t a huge gap but I always have slight worries about the dynamic and how that would work. As a 2 under 2 Mum, 3 sounds loads but logically I know it isn’t.. I guess it just depends what you’re used to doesn’t it
