Hey everyone. I can't see a May due date group yet. I am in the April 2025 chat as DD based on LMP puts me due at Apr 15. However I have varying length cycles and think I didn't ovulate until CD 30ish. Guessing I'm actually due May 2nd based off temps. Everyone in the April chat are much further along and hoping to find some people earlier in their pregnancies to chat to :) x

Even though it’s my second pregnancy I’m £60 into pregnancy tests already 😂
Been testing every day for the last 5 for line progression.
Got a BFP today hoping for a dye stealer Wednesday which was my period due date 🤞🏼

CheshireMummyy · 02/09/2024 20:02

@Vavamum hoping so and thank you! Praying for a dye stealer tomorrow or Wednesday so I can stop testing haha.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 02/09/2024 22:55

@BabyCrumble did you manage to do a nother test. I agree with the other people different times in the day your pee is sometimes too diluted in the early days to get a bfp.

Try the first morning pee! Best of luck. I took another test 🙈 just can't help myself but finally got a line stealer 😂 5w3d today the symptoms are starting to show a bit more now.
Yesterday we were visiting family in Oxford and I had to leave whilst mince was being cooked so I didn't vomit. My boobs are super sore and my nipples feel like they're being attacked by razors with the slightest touch. Nausea coming and going and not much appetite at all.
So so tired half way through the day and then can not sleep at all come bedtime 😫 although napping when I can

Hi can I join I got my bfp yesterday so would put due date in may.
I have a early scan next week as I've had pul before hoping for the besf.
I've been having pinching pain in my left ovary area for the past few days has anyone else has this?. I never had this with my son and daughter

Vavamum · 03/09/2024 06:17

Has anyone had very mild symptoms? It's my first pregnancy, I'm very early, 5wk+4 days; I've got no sickness whatsoever. My boobs are sensitive but I wouldn't call them sore, they're what they're like before period normally, I'm more tired than usually and I need to pee around 425 times a day lol. Other than that I feel pretty normal, is it normal for morning sickness to begin later down the line? Or can I now consider myself one of the lucky ones? 😁

Made it to Boots last night and got a whole bunch! Tried one last night and one first thing this morning - both negative!!

So assuming the first one I did, which came up “Positive 1-2 weeks” must have been false?

But if that’s correct, my period is extremely late - my husband tells me it is 7 weeks since I’ve had one! Which would actually align with the dates of the positive test.

Perhaps I had a chemical pregnancy (for 24 hours lol) - I’m going to watch and wait for the next week and see what happens!

Sorry to hear that you’re so sore and also the nausea must be awful 😢 hopefully you get the hang of how to ease the symptoms as you progress in your pregnancy (as I hear different things work for different people) xx

Well done on line stealer!! I had to Google what that was and feel like that’s a little warrior fighting the dye for you!! 😁

Hi @BabyCrumble a couple of things that might help with testing, I like boots own brand early response tests, they are great as they show up much clearer being red dye rather than blue. Testing first thing in the morning also gets a stronger line as pee get diluted through the day, that might be why the test last night came out negative for you. Got my fingers crossed for you!! 😊

Got the boots red line ones - sadly 2 negatives in a row (last night and this morning). I’m guessing this one is not to be, but making sure I take the vitamins and folic acid and eating all the greens until I have a period - just in case!!

BabyCrumble · 03/09/2024 09:56

Vavamum · 02/09/2024 15:17

@BabyCrumble false positive is incredibly rare- you likely got a false negative second time, or at least I hope that for you. Maybe it's because you did it in the evening - if you're very early in your pregnancy it's better to test with your first morning wee. Get yourself to the shops when you can - FIY I found own label £3.50 for x2 just as sensitive as the more expensive ones, fingers crossed for you!

Me too! Got the cheapest ones from boots and keep getting negatives (but no sign of period whatsoever) - keeping all my fingers and toes crossed! Xx

Vavamum · 03/09/2024 10:32

@BabyCrumble keep taking those vitamins even if you do get your period - it's good to take them for at least 2-3 months before conceiving to build up your folic acid x

That’s a great shout - will do!

Has anyone experienced any spotting in their pregnancy or a previous one? Might be TMI but I feel like I might have had some very light spotting start or it’s dark urine. It’s more like yellow at the moment but I’m feeling paranoid as I’ve already had one miscarriage. I also feel like I’ve got very light cramps but I have been feeling quite nauseous and bloated the past couple of days so it could be that. I just feel so worried it’s going to happen again.

WildWhirlwind · 03/09/2024 13:54

Hi @Dojo13. How are you? I did have spotting last time but doesn't sound similar to you. Apparently it can happen and there's no issue at all. Here if you need to stress over every tiny thing! I understand.

I still don't have symptoms but strong lines, so just accepting that for the moment!

I can't really offer any experience of spotting but I think it's definitely worth a try giving the EPU a ring as they might be inclined to get you booked in. Hopefully they might offer to see you given your previous mc, which might put you at ease a bit?

I think I've gotten really lucky with my EPU as I've have blood tests and a 6 week scan booked in for next week after giving them a quick call (2 mc previously) but aware other areas might be more strapped.

X

LoveispatientLoveisKind · 03/09/2024 17:28

@Dojo13
i spotted with my son and daughter and all was well they’re nearly 14 and 8 years old now.
this pregnancy is very early I haven’t had any spotting yet but pinching pain in my left ovary area it wakes me up in the night .

Dojo13 · 03/09/2024 17:39

Thank you everyone. I’m not even sure it was spotting so I’m hoping maybe I was just dehydrated. I’ve not had anything since but I do still have backache and slight cramping. Hoping it’s nothing and I’ve just pulled a muscle in my back or something silly. Can’t help but feel sick with worry though. If it doesn’t go away in the next couple of days I’ll contact the EPU 🙏🏻

LoveispatientLoveisKind · 03/09/2024 17:42

My line progression from 10dpo is looking good I woke up in pain around 12.30/1 am this morning (1st pic)and took an IC
I took another IC and CB digital at 16.20 today (I couldn’t help myself 2nd pic ) the line is much darker on the IC in less than 24 hours.

I've been requested for a scan tomorrow now because of the pain in my left ovary.
has anyone else had the same or similar and everything turned out ok?

Hi all! I’m also hoping for a May baby - got our positive late August after our 2nd FET and currently around 5+2. We have our first scan in just over two weeks with our fertility clinic so I’m crossing my fingers until then! It’s so hard to not get too carried away but at the same time hoping for the best. I’m sure the next few weeks will be torture

TheBeesKnee · 03/09/2024 23:53

Hiya, I am also on the other May thread, it might be worth combining the two once the first ones fill up?

I'm 5 weeks today with baby #2, have a 17 month old already. This one is due 1 day after our DS's birthday 🙈

CheshireMummyy · 04/09/2024 08:28

Hoping now I’m getting towards dye stealer territory I can stop obsessively testing 🙈
The first two are 7 and 6 days before I was due on and the second two yesterday and today (my period due date).
Now the long wait to the scan 🫠

CheshireMummyy · 04/09/2024 08:29

@TheBeesKnee congrats! Our DS is 15 months tomorrow and I am 4 weeks pregnant so on a similar timeline to you.
We think we may be 2 under 2 for a couple of weeks all being well 🤞🏼😬

jollydollyirl · 04/09/2024 08:35

Tentatively joining after getting my digital BFP this morning. Flo has me at 4 weeks pregnant today. Still a little in shock/disbelief as I've no symptoms whatsoever so hoping it's a sticky bean.

CheshireMummyy · 04/09/2024 09:37

@jollydollyirl congratulations!! I had 0 symptoms with my DS and he’s now a happy 15 month old 🫶🏻

LoveispatientLoveisKind · 04/09/2024 09:47

@jollydollyirl
Congratualtions on your bfp I didn't have any symptoms with my daughter until over 6 weeks and then they came all at the same time. Sore boobs morning noon and night sickness. Stuffy nose food adversions, sensitive to smells.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 04/09/2024 14:14

@LoveispatientLoveisKind I keep getting pain in my left side like a pulling sensation although I'm sure I've worried about it with every pregnancy and it has always been fine. Hope it's the same for you too.

@TheBeesKnee yes hopefully I know the lady who started it originally said the same. Be more of us chatting then :)

I'm so tired again. Napped yesterday and then still couldn't make it to get my son to bed without being exhausted. Didn't get any time to sit and chat with my husband etc I was drained. I think my iron levels are low which I've had in every pregnancy but I need my bloods checked really.

I'm getting confused with the two threads 😅

Has anyone had any weird/unexpected symptoms yet? My teeth are suddenly very sensitive to the point of pain and I actually went out to buy sensodyde!
