So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

Has anyone told their immediate family yet? With my last pregnancy we told them after a private scan at 8 weeks but I have an early scan at 6 weeks this time and wondering if everything is ok should I just tell them then? With my ectopic and miscarriage I hated telling my family what had happened without them knowing I was even pregnant

Congratulations everyone! I’m 4+2 today and new symptoms are a burning acid feeling in my throat, sharp stabbing pains very low down in my stomach and around my belly button on and off today and a massive increase in discharge (so much so that I thought I might have started bleeding when I was out shopping today!) I never had any of this in my previous pregnancy so I’m taking it as a positive for now that it’s been different, though still hugely anxious. Have seen good progression in my tests since 9dpo, I think!
I have booked a private scan for 7th September when I’ll be just over 9 weeks, just before we go on holiday.
@MsSandyToes my due date is also 10th April, unless that changes when I have a scan!

@Bcec I have some aches low down too. I’m just thinking it’s everything stretching! I don’t feel too different at the moment but I’m having very vivid dreams!

@Hopefulmummie I think I will tell family after an early scan at 7 weeks, all being well!

Congratulations all! I just got my bfp think I’m due on the 15th baby number 5 for me (8 for me and partner combined) after we lost our first together in January. They would of been due this month so this feels like a gift from above 🥰

Hi all! I just got my
first ever positive test this afternoon. Due 10th April 🥹
Cant believe it… after 17 months of trying and not one positive test before this.
We just had an appointment with fertility consultant last week to start ivf. 🫣
I know it’s early days but it is hard not to get excited. But I’m already feeling so anxious …that’s why I’m up at 01:45am scrolling online 😅 any advice for a first timer here?

@FirstTimePoster24 Congratulations!! I remember feeling anxious with my first. It's completely normal. You'll pick it all up as you go. It's a big, crazy, amazing learning experience 😊 Advice? Everyone you know is going to offer you their advice and opinions which can get quite overwhelming. Take it all with a pinch of salt and you just do you. You'll be amazing 😎

I'm 5w3days and I've just started bleeding

@Badassbreastfeeder85 just spotting? What colour? I have been in this position for 10 days, this morning it got worse temporarily then back to brown and watery again. Really thought it was all over this morning. Going to call EPU again in the morning. I am also 5weeks 3 days x

Red, I did bleed In my first pregnancy and all was fine, I will ring epu in the morning too,I have a 145 month old and no childcare tho so not sure I can even be seen, are u having pain

@Badassbreastfeeder85 it's reassuring if you've had it before and all was fine. I haven't got any pain, felt a-bit dizzy today when moving around but iv had a day on the sofa in anticipation of it all starting so haven't moved much! I know it's too early to see anything but at this point I want to rule out ectopic etc I think

Have you been bleeding constantly for 10 days? I'm hoping I've just overdone it lifting heavy things and was carrying the toddler in the sling while walking the dog,going to have dinner then hopefully go to bed,I'm convinced this is the beginning of the end tho

Ahh I'm sure it's not! Have you had any cramping or pain? Yes since I found out iv been spotting 😳 spoke to EPU and they basically said as so early wait for a week and if still testing positive and bleeding il be able to go in then. So I'm thinking Thursday, not sure whether to bother calling again tomorrow or just wait it out til 6 weeks x

Hey everyone.

Tentatively joining here at 4w3d today as I got my 2-3 weeks on clearblue. My due date should be 9th April 2025. Tested positive at 11dpo and my lines seems to be progressing well.

Have morning sickness, very sore boobs and quite a few twinges down below as well as light cramping.

Oh god how stressful,is this your first? I have a reassurance scan booked for 7w6days but depending on how much I bleed overnight I will call epu in the morning and see what they say,I do have lower back pain but I've had a busy weekend of house jobs and I feel so exhausted and achey,I obvs carry my toddler a lot too amd I'm breastfeeding

Not sure if worth doing another test in the morning or not

@Badassbreastfeeder85 yes I will do a test tomorrow I think and check looks ok. No not first, I have an 8 year old daughter and have had a missed miscarriage before about 5 years ago. Taken me 18 months to fall pregnant this time 😬 must be hard with a toddler in tow, I bet you have just pulled yourself then if you've been really active! It's so easy to do when there's so much going on down there!

I've had a mmc too,oddly that had brown bleeding, I woke up in a pool of fresh blood with my son,had 2 scans at epu but all was ok

Oh wow that must have been so scary, my bleeding has just picked up so I think I'm out 😥

Oh I'm sorry to hear that, could be a number of things though can you get a scan to be sure?

Has anyone had pain on their c section scar? Is it normal? I sneezed this morning and i had a sharp pain along the scar and now it feels sore. My section was 4 years ago, so is fully healed.

@Badassbreastfeeder85 morning, bleeding has gone back to how it's been over the past 2 weeks. Frustrating as if it's not going to work out I'd rather just have it happen. Left message with EPU this morning so hopefully they'll call me soon. How are you?

Oh god how frustrating, it's the not knowing that's the killer, I've decided not to call,im not even 6 weeks yet so not even sure they'd scan me yet, no.more fresh red blood it's now a little bit of brown spotting,not sure if that's a good sign or not
