So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

I’ll be 18 weeks tomorrow and also don’t feel pregnant at all. No bump, no movement. Bit of acid reflux but that’s it. Our 20 week scan is in about 3 weeks, and we had a strong heartbeat at the 16 week appt, but it is making me (irrationally?!) anxious

Hi folks. Had a private gender scan today. Baby was not playing ball and had their legs tightly closed! The place kindly rebooked for next week at no extra cost. Does anyone have any tips to help get LO more active ahead of scan?

I’ve got my private gender scan next week and was going to ask exactly the same! I’ve heard fizzy drinks or lucozade can help but interested to see what others say. Fingers crossed for you next time!

I'd recommend orange juice and not walking far before your appointment. That always seemed to lull my baby to sleep later on in my growth scans.

So yesterday we found out we're having a girl after 2 boys . Safe to say we are very excited! Although still feeling sick ergh
Also signs of spd already. Hips are agony at night! Just under 16 weeks

How exciting! Congratulations 💕 I have my gender scan booked in for Friday. Fingers crossed baby is behaving. I have a feeling we are having a boy so hopefully we’ll know soon!

I am 18 weeks! No feeling of movement of any sort yet, but I was told at my 12 week scan that I have an anterior placenta. However, I have noticed my belly growing which is so cool/weird. When I lie down, I can feel a firm ball-like structure under my skin extending from my pelvis to my belly button! So strange!

I had a lot of anxiety about how she's growing because I haven't felt her. But I had a midwife appointment today and she felt my belly and says she's growing great and my uterus is exactly where it should be at this stage. And her heart beat was nice and strong (in the 150s). And the midwife heard her move around in there.

I have my anatomy scan next week which I am so scared of! We had a low NT measurement and low risk NIPT at 12 weeks, but I am still soooo nervous for next Monday!

I had my gender scan on Saturday and it's a boy!💙So chuffed it's unreal. Already have a boy so they're going to be the best of friends, especially as they will only be 18 months apart!

So lovely! Congratulations! Also really happy to be having another girl - 2 years between mine - despite people asking if I wanted "one of each" 😤🙄 I really don't understand - I am just praying for a healthy baby at the end of it!

@Flor88 Exactly! I have already had some of the "aren't you disappointed you didn't have a girl" comments. Not at all! This will either be my last baby or my last baby for at least 6-8 years and I am more than happy with my boys and everything's looking good so far and that's all that matters. Nobody understand that the feeling you get when you see your baby or when they put them on your chest for the first time and you hear them cry that their gender is the last thing that you give a shit about!

I think it comes from people who are privileged enough to have never miscarried, never struggled to conceive, never had any concerning scans or diagnoses. This baby is definitely my last so two daughters for us and couldn't be happier - I would have felt this way either way of course. So excited to see their friendship throughout their lives. I have several gorgeous nephews too who I have lovely relationships with.

Any FTM feeling movements yet? I’ve had two moments that I think were the baby but I’m desperate for more! 20 week scan on Tuesday so got my fingers crossed that all goes well

@hopeful4us that’s exciting! I’ve been wondering whether other people are feeling movements too. I’m 19 week but FTM and have an anterior placenta so not expecting to feel anything early!

I've also got the 20 week scan tomorrow, FTM also.

This weekend I think I felt the first movements. Kind of felt like a fluttering (as people always say). Haven't ever felt anything like it so I'm hoping that's what it is. Still don't have much of a bump at all though, so hoping the scan tomorrow will put my mind at rest that baby is growing as it should be!

Don't think we'll be finding out the sex (if it's offered), anyone else?!

Although I wouldn’t mind either way, we are planning to find out the sex as my fiancé is really keen to know - I think it can be hard from the male point of view when they are feeling all the physical changes etc. I‘ve got no gut feeling as to whether it’s a boy or a girl though!
