So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

Thank you. Yes mat pay and benefits seem to vary so much. Mine is similar to yours, yet I know some workplaces that give you 6 months full pay. I wish I'd been more aware of this kind of thing when career changing(!) The disparity is massive.
Having said that, we should all be very glad not to be living in America, it could be so much worse.

Thank you- I didn't know that you could take blocks of leave with just yourself. I hope you're able to negotiate something good around the summer hols at least- you've earned it!

I’ve had a week off on holiday and gone back to 183 emails. My staff unfortunately just can’t do my job. So I’m prepared that I will have to go back after a week, two at the most if I can do some work at home. My partner is going to be stay at home Dad. It makes me really sad, but our lifestyle is reliant on me. I’m very grateful for the position I’m in, but I’d love a few months off to recover and bond with baby.

I don't feel pregnant anymore, just over 16 weeks, sickness is gone which is great but not feeling any movement so hard to know if everything is ok

I'm the same!! 17 weeks tomorrow, anterior placenta so very little feedback atm! Going for a private scan sat! The anxiety can be awful sometimes x

I was going to book one Saturday but it was too expensive so looking at a different place thats cheaper but no money till tomorrow then I'm away from Saturday

Oh bless you, it's horrendous isn't it? All of mine I've felt OK by 12 weeks but I'm still having off days now and I'll be 16 weeks Thursday x

I’m almost 15 weeks and same, I don’t feel pregnant. The awful nausea has settled, no crazy hormones, no proper cravings, basically the only thing that’s changed is I have the beginnings of a bump. I keep wondering if I made it all up 😅

Came on here to ask anyone if they also don’t really feel pregnant anymore and I’m relieved to see others are feeling the same way! Even though I know I felt this way with my DS, it’s still really hard to believe there is a tiny baby in there, probably kicking away now. I do have a slight paunch.. but first thing in the morning when my stomach looks and feels quite flat I convince myself it’s not there anymore. I’m still under the care of the early pregnancy unit until 16 weeks because of previous losses, so might ask them for a scan to ease anxiety. Will just feel bad wasting their time!

I still feel really sick. 15 weeks today! Keep convincing myself I feel movements but could just be indigestion.

I’m 15 weeks tomorrow and I’m convinced I can feel movements! It’s only when I’m quiet and still and can focus though, it almost feels a bit like a fish under water but it could just be gas! I don’t know if I would feel movements as a first time mum yet

Hi everyone! Late to the party but I’d love to join this group. We’re due 23rd April with our second baby. Haven’t found out the sex yet but we’re doing an early anatomy scan on the 11th so will probably know then, eep!

Hi all! It’s lovely to see lots of messages and people feeling the same here, I only just had an email from Mumsnet and realised that people has been posting!

I’m 14 weeks, feeling sick had been gone for about a week and a half and today I’m feeling rough! Weird! But had been also feeling like it wasn’t real when I was feeling too good - guess here’s reassurance 🤢

Hey guys! I am 15 weeks today & due 25/4/25. Sickness has calmed down although I am still vomiting first thing on a morning🤢 i have been suffering from headaches quite a bit the past 2 weeks. Eating& sleeping fine & drinking plenty of water but my head just constantly hurts, anyone else experienced this? We are still deciding whether to find out gender as my partner wants to but I am in 2 minds! I dont think I can feel any movements yet however have had some rumbles & gas like feeling which makes me question if that is it lol x

This is the date I’m hoping to get for my planned c-section! 😂 I’m due 28/04
