Due April 2025 ✨

So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

I'm 9 +5 but this evening have cramping and low back ache. I've been feeling pretty rough to be honest. The nausea is relentless and I've felt a little lightheaded. I've taken paracetamol so hoping it will pass 🙏

Had a tough few days at work and had a heap of nausea today so feeling pretty down. Our first scan is on Monday though and I can’t wait as we plan to tell my in laws and rest of the immediate family afterwards!

Hi mamas, I'm joining on to the boat a bit later, im Due 10th April with my suprise baby! Found out I was pregnant whilst on the coil after having it in me for a whole year. Honestly was petrified and cried alot in the beginning as it wasn't in my plan to get pregnant a month after my DD turned 1 years old 😭. I got my nhs first scan today and found to be 11 weeks 6 days, was Honestly so nice to see after weeks of going through horrible nausea.

My main symptom so far has been complete exhaustion but most symptoms have disappeared for over a week so anxiety has been high. Had an EPU scan today due to bleeding and cramping but all good, little 9 week baby all happy in there. Anybody else attempting to lose weight throughout pregnancy?

That must have been a shock! But how lovely to have them close in age, congrats! I’m also due on 10th April and scan on Friday x

Wow, date twins 😁. So excited to hear, I hope the scan goes well! I was honestly quite happy to see the baby bouncing about and couldnt stop giggling 😅.
Honestly the reason I was upset initially was because I really didn't want a close age gap between my first two, I didn't have the best experience with a sister close in age to me as I felt like we were always treated as twins. I decided to not let that become a nagging voice In my head and instead focus on my parenting and make sure to let them grow as individuals ♥️

Evening ladies so went for my 12 week scan today only to confirm what I thought and have been moved back to 11 weeks 2 days so I have to go back in a week. However we got to hear babys heart beat and what a little fidget we have! I'm so relieved however they didn't print us any photos but will do next time so I've held off announcing yet, hope you are all well x

Congratulations @Hblooby - how exciting! My scan in on Monday when I should be 12+3, fingers crossed all is well.

Is anyone taking Iron tablets and have any advice on how best to take them without them making you ill? I took my 1st one early today and my sickness was the worst it has been all pregnancy despite being 12+1 today.

Hey i have been taking them for about 4 months so before i was pregnant, the gp advised me to take them with orange juice i have no issues still so maybe try that

Got a text today for an obstetrics appointment next Friday. I have only seen my midwife once at booking appointment and first scan is on Monday. Any idea why they’ve scheduled this appointment? I wasn’t expecting it!

Do you know if you have an appointment booked in for straight after your scan? I’ve had my dating scan booked in today after my booking appointment and I have an appointment straight after that. If not maybe it’s that one? Annoying you have to go twice though!

Ooo that’s an interesting thought. I think I’ve just got the scan, didn’t know I’d also need an appointment. Weird though because they didn’t mention anything about it when I booked.

@hopeful4us is it the combined test? The nuchal test for trisomies.

I don’t have a separate appointment booked in but after the scan I do wait around to have my blood taken for the combined test. They said the whole thing could take up to an hour. Mine isn’t until a week on Friday, it’s just what happened last time and what my midwife said again at the booking apt.

@Dojo13 @Blue2020 I did say I wanted to have non invasive tests so it could very well be the combined one. Will ask at the hospital on Monday and hopefully they can give me some more detail on what it’s about!

Hi, I've moved over from the May thread as I had an early scan which puts me at 9 weeks and it's twins!! Anyone else expecting twins? They don't let you get to full term apparently so I think we will be April x

I'm 10+3 now and am on a 4th lot of antibiotics. Also treatment for thrush, constipation and severe sickness lol Definitely not been an easy ride so far but looking forward to my scan in a few weeks. Hoping it will make me feel better 🙏

I've got a day to myself Monday and honestly can't wait! Youngest at school and oldest who is home educated is with my parents for the day 😊

Jumping onto this if okay, I'm due 2-4-25 baby number 3 👶🏻 youngest will be 13 next month and eldest 16 😲😲 this baby was a surprise. Feeling very fat already 13+4 now eeek x

We had no idea about the twins, also had no idea I have a history of twins in the family, found out last week that I do! It's been a huge shock and I've been really unwell, very sick. On cyclizine but it's not really keeping it at bay. All go here, we suddenly need to get a bigger house, car etc! 🙈 might go back to the doctor for some different meds. This is the second one I've tried but I'm still sick throughout the day xx

Anyone else getting really anxious about their 12 week scan if due at the end of April like me? I've also got my NIPT with a scan this week and dreading it in case we have bad news.
