So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

The pack says vaginally. The first one I felt like more came out than stayed in 🙃 my belly is quite upset now too so wonder is that causing it. Did you have any side effects?

@Lovedatforme I'm also taking them vaginally. Been on them for two weeks now and my tummy is a tiny bit dodgy at times, definitely not normal but not sure if that's just a general symptom rather than the progesterone. I'm also feeling really nauseous too. My doctor mentioned that the progesterone taken orally causes lots of stomach upset so vaginally is much better.

@Lovedatforme I pop it high in vagina and lay down for an hour so I maybe make up an hour early and then do that and sleep for an hour. Or when I get into bed at night. Lots will come out after that but the actual medication will be absorbed by then. I think some clinics say 20min but I've seen online say 30
I just decided to do an hour to be certain.

I've seen people mention an upset tummy. I maybe am going a bit more often but tbh I was putting that down to hormones and I usually take oral progesterone anyway when not preg because of my health conditions so maybe I'm just used to it.

I find rectal is less messy. But if you've been told vaginally then stick fo that. My clinic said there is new evidence that these absorb better than the progesterone injections so that's good to know.

@Hopefulmummie omg that's mad. Surely that's too late for the initial tests?

Have you heard the pregnancy podcast called"is it normal" the presenter on that had her 12 week scan delayed cos she had covid (was in restriction times) and she had to get a seperate additional test done. They explained it all in the podcast. Might be worth a listen. I've just looked it up for you and it's episode 5 of that series.

Got my positive test today 🥹 estimated 3 weeks & 4 days EDD 21/04/2025. I’m so nervous but so excited!

Hi all - hope it’s okay for me to join! I found out I’m pregnant this evening with EDD of 20th April, I’m estimated 3 weeks 5 days. This will be my third baby, I have an 8 and 7 year old already 🥰💛

Is it too early for round ligament pain? Just coughed and had a sharp shooting pain in my lower abdomen which quickly went away... I've just turned 5w

How is everyone? I’m so confused by my dates I was told I’m due 15th and am 4+2 does that make sense to anyone? 31 day cycle. The baby brain is already real haha

@Pix89 i’ve been having pains early. I laid on my side last night and got a sharp pain, quickly shifted position and all was good. I’m only 5+3 today.

@Bubblesandballoons very reassuring to know. I'm just a day behind you so it sounds normal? I just turned funny in bed and it happened again. It doesn't seem to favour a side just one or the other each time.

@Pix89 i’m assuming it’s normal. Hopefully they will ease off soon 🤞🏻. Is this your first? This is my second so thinking that may play a part.

@Bubblesandballoons im 5+3 today too! I’ve had some pains/cramps. I’m hoping it normal.

i had a nightmare last night… You can all guess what I dreamt of 😫💔 it felt so real when I woke. But then when I moved my boobs were even more sore this morning, really tender to touch. So I’m glad of that progression there.

I’m sick of taking pregnancy tests , but am I going to stop? Absolutely not 🙃

@Bubblesandballoons it's my 2nd as well. I just don't remember getting them this early previously!!

@LottieW93 i took my final test today and got my 3+, I was terrified it would have gone back to 1-2 🙈. Trying to relax now till my scan on wed. It’s not easy not to worry though is it, glad your symptoms are giving you some comfort.
@Pix89 i had no pains at all in my first pregnancy even at the end, so this is new to me.

Congratulations to all the new people joining! How is everybody feeling? I’ve had barely any symptoms really apart from feeling tired and some cramping and one or two very minor episodes of nausea. My boobs are feeling less sore today which is making me a bit anxious. Feels like such a long wait in these first few weeks.

@Bcec I can totally relate to this. My only symptoms has been intermittent cramping and the odd twinge. I'm glad I'm not feeling rough but equally it feels like such a long wait to the scan to get confirmation everything is ok!

@Whenyoupickapawpaw it really does! Just feels like it isn’t real. We’ve got a private scan booked at 9w3d but it’s still 4 weeks away which feels like a lifetime!
I feel the same too, glad that I don’t feel awful but partly feel like at least if I had symptoms then I’d know something was happening!

Congratulations to you too! ☺️ Not been feeling too badly so far, main symptom has been a really dull headache that doesn’t seem to be budging! Also seem to have a really weird taste at the back of my throat, thinking a tiny bit of Acid reflux in the night maybe? But at the moment, it feels so surreal, I keep thinking I’m dreaming 🥹 I’m only 3 weeks, 5 days so a long road ahead!
