So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

@Bcec I can totally relate to this. My only symptoms has been intermittent cramping and the odd twinge. I'm glad I'm not feeling rough but equally it feels like such a long wait to the scan to get confirmation everything is ok!

@Bcec I'm the same! Mild cramping very low down (mainly at night) and fatigue. Trying not to worry that sickness is going to hit me all or a sudden!
It feels weird not telling anyone except from my partner, so many questions I'm dying to ask people!

Badassbreastfeeder85 · 09/08/2024 12:41

I am so so tired, 6w1day,nausea started yesterday, private scan booked for 7w6day,eels ages away

ClearB21 · 09/08/2024 12:53

Hi everyone, I'm supposed to be 6 weeks so due early April 2025.
I've had an early scan today because of some issues with pain in lower abdomen and they can't see the baby in the womb. I know this could just be because I'm not as far along as I thought but just so disappointed and worried now. Had a blood test so we will see what comes from that. Trying to stay positive 🤞🏼

ShieldMaiden87 · 09/08/2024 17:06

ShieldMaiden87 · 09/08/2024 17:07

Leannes1994 · 09/08/2024 18:30

LucyCL · 09/08/2024 19:19

May I join please? Just got a BFP which makes me 3 weeks and 6 days. This is my 3rd pregnancy after two early MCs this March and May. It will be my 1st baby and the due date will be around 20/4/25.

hopeful4us · 09/08/2024 19:25

@LucyCL - so pleased to see you’re joining this thread with me given we’ve been in the same ttc threads, congratulations!

@Leannes1994 - looks like we’re in a similar boat: I’m also a ‘94 baby and expecting #1. App gives my EDD as the 11th April 😊

That's so reassuring thank you 🙏🏼

Hi to everyone that has recently got their BFP

@ClearB21 sending positive vibes to you. Have they said whether they will rescan at all? Hope you’re feeling ok.

I’m 6 weeks today and have no symptoms at all apart from slightly sore boobs. Think I may book a reassurance scan for 8 weeks.

How is everyone else getting on?

Hey everyone. I've been watching this thread on and off - I hope everyone is doing ok!

I'm 5+1 today, feel pretty normal tbh, apart from slightly sore boobs and a bit more tired than normal. Bracing myself for nausea which kicked in at 6 weeks with my first (and knocked me out for about 8 weeks 😬)

I'm off on a weekend away with friends tomorrow. Don't really want to share the news yet but I will definitely get questions about why I'm not drinking!

ClearB21 · 09/08/2024 20:58

@YellowBloom thank you so much. They didn't phone me tonight so I phoned them and they said my hCG levels were high enough for me to need to come back on Sunday for another test to make sure they are going up. She said a nurse would call but haven't had a phone call yet. So I'll go back on Sunday and then if they are raised they will scan me again in a couple of weeks.
I don't think I prepared myself for the ups and downs of pregnancy, the excitement is so high but my god the lows are low!

I've had 2 naps today while my other baby was down, so so tired!

@LucyCL Big congrats, I recognise your name from your threads. Pleased to see you here x

Popsicales · 09/08/2024 21:14

5+3 here and nausea has really ramped up 🤮 I’m absolutely exhausted and can’t stop falling asleep! I’m very grateful to be pregnant but I don’t like the first trimester!

IVFlife · 09/08/2024 22:44

I have so much cramping on both sides today it's really freaking me out. Going to see how it is tomorrow

MsSandyToes · 09/08/2024 22:49

Hi @LucyCL I'm so sorry for your losses, I also had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in March and a miscarriage at 7 weeks in May. Fingers crossed it's third time lucky for both of us.

Congratulations to everyone joining!

My daughter has got hand foot and mouth at the moment so she's been extra needy and I'm exhausted! I've also felt a little bit queasy which I didn't get until later on with her so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

I booked a private scan for 7+3 today because if I make it that far I want to know if it's a viable pregnancy. It's only just over two weeks away but it feels like an eternity to wait!

Ameliamolly1 · 10/08/2024 08:30

Hi all, hope it’s ok if I join. Just found out I’m pregnant with my second and due around April 17th. Super excited but super nervous, looking forward to going through this journey with you all!

Tigerlilyxx · 10/08/2024 09:01

Jumping on..positive test due end of April with baby #2

Has anyone started a Facebook group yet? We had one for my first and it's been so useful and lovely

LucyCL · 10/08/2024 10:23

@Lovedatforme I am glad to see you here too! It is always good to have someone from the same ttc group then progress to the pregnancy together. I wish you will have an uneventful pregnancy!

It must also have been hard for you to go through 2 losses but I am crossing my fingers and toes for both of us this time !

DaisyRainbow · 10/08/2024 12:31

I'm 6+1 today and have had a rough week with Covid, have barely been out of bed. Have found the only thing that keeps the nausea at bay is to eat all time so slightly worried about how much weight il be putting on. I hate the 1st trimester, you feel terrible but don't realy have anyone to talk to about it as its normalised to keep it to yourself for 12 weeks rather than tell the support network.

StampOnTheGround · 10/08/2024 13:14

Anyone else having just a dull ache across the lower abdomen?

My last pregnancy I had quite bad cramps at certain times of day, so this is new to me and I'm not sure if it's normal!

Jammii · 10/08/2024 13:21

Hi I'm 6+3 with second baby. I've had no symptoms until yesterday I'm feeling nausea. Same @DaisyRainbow I need to keep eating!

Any snack ideas?

I've booked a scan for 8+2, I'm chubby and hoping that won't affect the scan.

Jammii · 10/08/2024 13:25

@StampOnTheGround I think that can be normal as it's all stretching
