Continuation from the previous thread before it fills up - we're getting so close ladies, ahhhhh!!!

@longingtobe23 OMG I just checked my dates and I'd be the same as you if I need one... EEKK THATS VERY SOON!!! I find out Monday if baby has turned (please please please please baba, turn!!!) and will know more then.

I've started packing my bag, washed all the baby clothes during the week. I've started putting them in zip lock bags so DH will have a small clue when I ask him to get something out instead of me wanting to kill him.
33 weeks today, head is down, indigestion is pretty much gone but now it is all pressure in the pelvic area and sore when I turn. My memory is also gone to mush!

I'm absolutely exhausted this week, going to see how I am next week at work and if it is the same I'm going to ask GP to sign me off. I can't believe we are all near the end! When you find out you feel like 8 months is forever away.

Has anyone washed their Snuzpod yet? I’ve just had to dismantle it to get the cover off just to pop it in the wash 😵‍💫 I’m exhausted! 😂

@HRP1990 I never even thought about washing the snuzpod , because I am more than certain that the hospital itself is going to be dirtier than that came like. And also with that logic I would have to wash the pushchair aswell.

I has a text from my midwife today, she said she looked at my scan and that all looks good and asked if I still wanted to swap hospitals. I obviously said yes please so I am being moved to give birth in the hospital I wanted to.
I wonder what made her remember about me because before she never even answered my texts.

Just realised the babygrows I bought in the summer are footless so I need to add baby socks to my ''must buy'' list. Oops! God thing I spotted it!

@HRP1990 ive not washed mine yet but I plan to soon. It’s been in storage and full of dust. How did you wash it? I’m tempted to chuck it on a slow wash in the machine even though it’s hand wash only 🤣

@Xur I don’t think I would have if it were brand new, but I had bought it down from the loft and felt it needed a quick once over!

@SC126 it says hand wash but.. 🥴 I put it on a delicate 30 wash.. 400 spin! I read a few reviews online and people recommended putting it back on damp, so I did that just in case it shrunk or something 🙈

@Xur oh yes, the loft dust, that makes sense. Tbh that is also the main reason why I can’t buy nothing from vintner or marketplace. I have a mental block, I keep thinking I don’t know where it’s come from and how it’s been stored.

Anyone else's baby as soon as they get into bed and get comfy start having a massive party 😫
He moves during the day but it's sporadic and doesn't go on for more than 5 mins at a time really but as soon as I get into bed he's going nuts for about an hour he then does the same after I've had to get up for a wee at 2/3am and it's knackering me before he's even here 🤦🏽‍♀️

Found myself at MAU today because for someone who beats me up on the inside, she decided to go SILENT from last night until (of course) I reached the hospital at midday today 🥲 34 weeks tomorrow and, at my last scan 2 weeks ago, she was estimated at 5lb 5 and I am looking HELLA around so I think everyone’s silently panicking about size. They’ve asked me to come back on Tuesday for another scan 🤣

Baby shower is in 2 weeks so a few days before then I’m just going to smash the medjool dates, get all the oxytocin going and hop back into the saddle of the old cowboy that got us in this mess, and hope it coax’s her out at around 37ish weeks 😂😂😂

@rupertbear91 same here! Currently laid here feeling baby having her own personal party inside that I haven't been invited to 😂 I always find I lay in bed and lay on my side and she kicks the bed like it's a trampoline 🙃😂

Sorry to be posting a TMI question on here (I am going to message midwife about it but was wondering if anyone else experienced it) but is anyone else itchy and a bit sore down there? It started as labial and abit internal so pharmacy sold me some thrush treatment and it seemed to work but suddenly the labial itching has returned with a vengeance 😩 I have no unusual discharge, can't feel or see anything there and although I trust DH not to have gone anywhere else, we haven't DTD since I found out I was pregnant so I don't think it's anything like that but it's driving me mad 😵‍💫

Hop back onto the saddle of the old cowboy that got us into this mess 😂 made me lol into my tea this morning!

Don’t forget the raspberry leaf tea.. pineapple.. curb walking!? etc 😂 my daughter was overdue so I remember trying most things lol

@SantasRubiksCube it can be from sweat. If you’ve worn not100% cotton you might want to start and may want to change undies more often. Now it’s summer and it’s been warm, sweating and humidity invites bacterial growth which can lead to this. If it started with labia it must be from external factors I think. Remember wrong undies on for too long can result in bacterial vaginosis.

Finally checking in here as well, 7 weeks and 6 days until my c section. It’s suddenly so soon 😅😬 I did a lot of shopping this week and we have most of the stuff now. After a couple of difficult days with non stop acid reflux that didn’t let me sleep at night, I’m feeling better again this weekend.

Anyone getting a Jellycat for baby? Can’t decide which one!! It’s going to be a gift from their big sister so it’ll be very special and loved (I hope!) haha x

@PinkWatermelon88 we have already acquired a couple of nice soft toys from grandparents but I really want to buy him this one specific jellycat that is a fat grumpy frog with a yellow rubber ring round its tummy, idk why really except it makes me laugh. But so far I haven't justified the £35 to myself...

My darling husband just sent me this. Since baby has turned I feel huge. (transverse now) x

@malimoon I just saw the frog - so funny haha! We got LOADS of soft toys for my girl but she didn't take to any of them. I'll really try this time though and really hope this one takes a teddy. I think they're so cute and they're supposed to be super soft too

I will definitely buy some toy from IKEA today. I like the ikea plushies

@PinkWatermelon88 FIL and step-MIL have bought her a bunny Jellycat already, which is very cute. I love that Jellycat is suitable from birth - it’s quite scary how many soft toys aren’t!

Finally checking in aswell, I am 30 weeks today and have washed all the baby clothes and put them away nursery is getting there just need to get a few extra baby clothes like vests and sleeping bags.

Is everyone buying a cot/cotbed before the baby is born? We were thinking we may buy it afterwards as we have the snuzpod for a while. We have bought a pushchair but still need to get a car seat, gradually ticking off the list. Time is going by so quickly!

@Lillers i actually looked this up today and they’re not suitable for unsupervised sleep…. The UK/IRL say till 12m, Australia say till 7m. I’ll be using it as a comfort association for feeds and in the bouncer when we’re watching etc but I’d be too cautious to leave it in the crib overnight at this stage 🙈

@Happylittlebump the sunspots shouldn’t ever be used for sleep. You most certainly need a safe sleep surface for the baby
