@MudandMoet okay so it looks like you need to PM me your mobile number and then I can add you from my contacts into the group. The only other way is via a link on the private FB group, which I can’t post on a public forum. So please feel free to send me your number and I’ll add you in?

I think the lady on the FB group was actually part of the ‘due August’ cohort but joined both just in case, so @MrsMoggy is our first official ‘due September’ birth, which is just so exciting and also a bit mind blowing 😁

I have my next midwife appointment tomorrow, and then my growth scan appointment about the middle of August. Time is flying by!

Just came across this thread whilst bf, I'm from the April thread and have a nearly 4 month old and wanted to say hi to you all and it feels so slow these last few weeks but then suddenly, the bundle of joy arrives. Just had my midwife appointment so happy hearing my baby's heartbeat again, my midwife thinks she laying across at the moment in a hammock style aw.

@WinsandSam i muted the WhatsApp group so I don’t get tons of notifications. It’s defo a lot at the moment. Hoping it calms down a tad.

I’ve just had my 34 week midwife appointment and baby is head down - yay! What a relief. I’ve been given lots of reading to do about perineal massage, birth plans and breastfeeding. I was also given syringes to harvest colostrum from 36 weeks. I cannot believe how little time left there is!

@HRP1990 thats great news! I think mine might be head down now too (was still transverse last week) but won’t find out till my growth scan on Monday. Crazy could be any time from 3-8 weeks. I think @Xur is an admin on the WhatsApp so if you private message her your number I’m sure she could add you.

Went for 32 weeks growth scan and baby is still huge ! His head is on 97th centile they think. So I have been referred for a second glucose tolerance test even tho last time he was already big and my bloods were fine... So fingers crossed same again this time around. I think he's just a big baby! I was!

Just catching up! @SC126 and @WinsandSam great to hear such positive stuff about anaesthetists! I did ask my hospital if I can meet one in advance but they said no as they don’t know who it will be on the day and you might see one who gives different advice to the one you see on the day. But they did say I could come in for a ward tour!

I feel like everyone I know is having a girl, including all my NCT group, and I’m the only boy-mum! Now I’m worried they will all ditch me in a few years, once activities becoming more along the lines of going to ballet…! I think I’m just feeling a bit hot and emotional. I always dreamt of taking my future daughter to watch the Nutcracker at Christmas with her friends and now I’ve catastrophised and decided all my friends will be doing that without me, whilst I’m doing a football drop-off in the cold and rain 😂

@RosiePH you might have a ballet loving boy... When I was little I did ballet and there was one boy in the class and we were all just rubbish and he went on to become a professional ballet dancer!

@RosiePH oh bless you!! I always said if I was having a boy I'd encourage ballet, dance etc over football! He may love the theatre 💕

Re anaesthetist, I was told they'd see me the week before but was randomly sent an appointment so thought I'd take it. Offered reassurance for my anxiety

@RosiePH I have big dreams of my boy being into musical theatre/dancing.... his dad thinks he's going to be the next Olympic hockey player... I'm hoping I win 😂😂

My brother is the lead consultant anaesthetist at my hospital and I'm high risk so I had to see one of the other consultants a few weeks back. I'm really hoping that he's not on call when I go in or I will have to wait for someone from the other part of the hospital to see me 🙄
