I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Hi everyone I’m 4 + 2 (16dpo), found out 5 days ago. Loving my much fuller boobs but not loving the evening bloating and insomnia I’m having. Really struggling to sleep and HR through the roof 🫣

Congrats! Due date buddies, well I'm also do po 16 🤞🏻hope all goes well

UrbanSquirrel · 21/06/2024 07:27

Good luck with your appointment today @ThatBlueMoose! Is there any chance they might be able to check out potential sources for the bleeding so that you have a bit of extra info before Monday? I'm glad to hear it has slowed but will be thinking of you both days. As always, let us know how both appointments go 🤗

I'm hoping they will but I just don't know if they'll do anything because I'm pregnant. Appointment is at 10.45, I'm just hoping I get some answers

Morning everyone! I’ve been reading this thread for a few days since I found out on Sunday. Figured I might as well join in!

First, very much wanted pregnancy. Think I’m 4+5 with February 22nd as due date. Loads of symptoms so far, to the point that I had to tell my boss yesterday as I could hardly string a sentence together 😂 nausea, bloating, stomach upset, feeling very hot, bit of cramping, but mainly insane fatigue. It seems to change a bit hour by hour!

Apart from my husband and my boss, only one friend knows. I don’t know what I’m waiting for with my parents, as we’re very close! I suppose if they knew it would feel much more real? I don’t feel particularly anxious, or even massively excited yet. It just feels very very surreal! I think because it’s such early days. I haven’t tested again since the two I took on Sunday and not sure whether I’ll be going for an early scan.

Sending lots of love and luck to everyone else on this thread ☺️

@UrbanSquirrel I have just consistently been feeling like I have a hangover

Ugh me too. So unfair when we can't have a drink 😂

Bb542 · 21/06/2024 08:09

Morning everyone. I'm 5 weeks today (due 20th of Feb I think) and just got my 3+ on a digital test 🥰 told my family last night. A little worried I told them early as I had a miscarriage in my last pregnancy but I also would want their support were it to happen again. They were so happy 🥰 it's nice not to have to hide my symptoms anymore 🙈 having heart palpitations and nausea but haven't been sick yet.
My hospital are giving me an early scan at 8 weeks due to my previous loss. 3 weeks to go until then... it's sooo hard to wait 😩😂

How is everyone else?

Missingcoffee22 · 21/06/2024 08:10

UrbanSquirrel · 21/06/2024 07:24

All the pain and none of the fun! 😉

Poor you. Hope the weekend gives you a bit of a chance to recharge x

2 kids with my husband working, probably no recharging but tbh I'm able to forget about it most of the time if I'm very busy luckily!

Right?! Nature really rubbing it in haha. My husband forgot and called me to ask if he should get some nice wine yesterday 😂

@Latecomer81 I'm booked in for an advanced NIPT at 10 weeks. It's private, and expensive, but if something is wrong I'd rather find out as early as possible. The test covers all three of the trisomies plus a list of other potential issues, and it can tell you the sex of the baby.

Here's the one we're getting:

windowtothewomb.co.uk/private-baby-scan-packages/nipt-advanced/

We're going to haemorrhage money for a bit, but it'll be worth it if we can go into our 12 week NHS scan already feeling that bit more reassured and confident.

Thank you, I agree. That’s actually cheaper than some of the Harmony packages I’ve seen though, up to £750! I’ll look into this one

Shortcake06 · 20/06/2024 21:49

@LilacSnail glad I’m not the only one struggling with hayfever. Normally I’d be popping antihistamines. Sneezed at least 100 times today I swear I was about to crack up. Have you found anything else that helps?

Hi have you tried to do a nasal wash?

I think if you'd want the support then it makes total sense to tell them! We told my family early the 1st 2 times. Not this time because I'm sure they'll think we're mad, so we're making sure we have all our plans in place before we do..!

superj21 · 21/06/2024 08:48

@Missingcoffee22 ugh totally rubbing it in 😂 I had half a bottle of my absolute favourite wine left from before I knew I was pregnant it was so sad seeing it in the fridge 😂. I bought some "zerocecco" from Aldi yesterday to try, but then put it in the freezer, forgot about it and it exploded 🤦‍♀️ going to grab another bottle today and hoping it doesn't taste like shit..

elb1504 · 21/06/2024 09:19

Agree with the constant hangover feeling, and it's lasting all day! Anyone else just frequently heaving?!

Also anyone have just a constant strange taste? May be from the amount of salt and vinegar crisps I've eaten burning my taste buds bit it's driving me mad nothing tastes nice! I do vaguely remember having this with my previous pregnancy but it was nearly 5 years ago!

Mamma364747 · 21/06/2024 09:22

Latecomer81 · 21/06/2024 07:15

Congratulations! I am too worried about higher risk. Are you getting all the tests? I need to research which ones you can get at what weeks. Obviously the earlier the better but I’m worried some of the more accurate ones can’t be done til week 12, I could be wrong though. Any advice?

I'm new to it too - I didn't do any early tests last time! We have an early scan at 8 weeks - our doctor said we'd be more likely to see something and on balance since there are no complications apart from age I'm ok to wait until then. I'm thinking of the NIPT which I think you can take at 10 weeks but it's £500. And I'm told I'd likely get it on the NHS because of age but it would delay any decision making by a few weeks. But anyway, we have some time to think about NIPTs.

I'm finding I'm craving salt and vinegar crisps too. I saw a thread about favourite brands and I started eating a small pack every morning! What is it about the strong flavour? All other food is so bland and off putting to me because of nausea and bloating.

Yeah time is of the essence so definitely ok with paying for quicker results. I have an early scan tomorrow, 7+ 4 I think but my dates might be iffy. Just want to see if there’s actually anything there first! It’s unbelievable it’s happened. My partner was told he had less than 2% sperm morphology, but there we are! 🤷‍♀️

I have no symptoms since I found out (and before obviously), so have no idea if anything is even in there 🙈 but hoping I'm that 15% with no symptoms or maybe it's a bit early. I've had early losses last year, so I'm just taking it day by day. Still testing each morning but today decided I'm done with testing and booked an early scan for 7 weeks.

Apart from cramps very early on, I have no symptoms either just a ravenous appetite

Same! Also same with my first who is now 10. Maybe it’s more common than we think

How many weeks are you? I had one headache on dpo 9 and then that's it, a bit unnerving but hoping it's all early. With my son, I had a lot more going on, I guess each pregnancy is indeed different

According to my lmp I’m 5+4, but I ovulated CD 11 which puts me at bang on 6 weeks.
I suffer from migraines and motion sickness which apparently makes pregnancy sickness worse and I have none! Not that I’m complaining… much lol

T0r11210 · 21/06/2024 10:57

@Lemonbalm8 thats completely normal but I understand your anxieties. I’m going to do the same scan wise 😊
Ive got really bad bloating in the evenings, which is what made me test and sore boobs but no nausea or anything. I’ve had the odd twinge too. I’m also really struggling with sleep but I dont know if that’s just because I’m overthinking.
