I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Sorry in advance if this is TMI 🙃 Is anyone struggling with being intimate since finding out? It’s so silly I know but I’m just so worried after sex I’ll bleed - we usually have a good fairly active sex life but we’ve only done it a few times since finding out and I feel so on edge when we do! Keep thinking maybe when we get to 12 weeks I’ll relax again a bit but don’t know how to talk myself out of this anxiety around it!

Me! We haven't been intimate since we conceived as husband had a sperm analysis booked, then I found out shortly after and have had spotting on and off this week I haven't felt like it. It's probably silly but mentally I want to have my 7 week scan to check all looks ok before we do! In the meantime husband can take care of himself 😆

According to my lmp I’m 5+4, but I ovulated CD 11 which puts me at bang on 6 weeks.
I suffer from migraines and motion sickness which apparently makes pregnancy sickness worse and I have none! Not that I’m complaining… much lol

Ah great, we are not too far off.

Yes it would be great if no symptoms right? I am even sleeping well, and I love my sleep. With my son, I had cramping, sore boobs, bad sleep and headaches for weeks and then week 7 was hit with nausea until week 12. It wasn't easy to be working, but thankfully I work from home.

Hi everyone I’m 4 + 2 (16dpo), found out 5 days ago. Loving my much fuller boobs but not loving the evening bloating and insomnia I’m having. Really struggling to sleep and HR through the roof 🫣

Welcome! I'm due 14 Feb. Glad to hear someone else say they have insomnia. I'm not sleeping well but also don't feel as tired as I'd expect with it. Was expecting to be super tired as a few others had mentioned. Maybe that comes later, I'm 6w today.

T0r11210 · 21/06/2024 10:57

@Lemonbalm8 thats completely normal but I understand your anxieties. I’m going to do the same scan wise 😊
Ive got really bad bloating in the evenings, which is what made me test and sore boobs but no nausea or anything. I’ve had the odd twinge too. I’m also really struggling with sleep but I dont know if that’s just because I’m overthinking.

Oh no! Have you tried biokult or symprove, generally supposed to help with bloating and IBS and should be great with pregnancy.
I feel for you on sleep. I'm not great if I don't have good sleep.

Is anyone from London here?

Yeah time is of the essence so definitely ok with paying for quicker results. I have an early scan tomorrow, 7+ 4 I think but my dates might be iffy. Just want to see if there’s actually anything there first! It’s unbelievable it’s happened. My partner was told he had less than 2% sperm morphology, but there we are! 🤷‍♀️

All the best for tomorrow!

Are you thinking ahead yet about the reality of having a baby? Last night I had a bad night's sleep, and felt so exhausted and nauseous this morning, then had to get on with preparing DS for school, he wanted me to run around with him etc. I don't know how I'm going to be able to do a normal morning with even less sleep and a baby to look after too!

Sort of. Surbiton! ☺️

Mamma364747 · 21/06/2024 11:34

It felt so much easier the first time. I was looking forward to it more than I was scared. Now the balance is more on scared! 😅 I will believe it all the more after the early scan!

susie1984234 · 21/06/2024 11:44

I'm one week out from having a first scan should be around 7 weeks by then, so just trying to get by until then.
I'm having dizzy and shaky spells and trying to eat every couple of hour. Also yes to salt and vinegar crisps 😅
Anyone else having some inner thigh pain? I've been having it high up on my right thigh although in my job I'm on my feet a lot so could be related to that.

I have been having thigh pain on and off right from week 4! Not bad pain just twinges or shooting every now and then.

@UrbanSquirrel great! Lots of my colleagues are in Surbiton 💚 so nice to be close to Epsom, we went there few times for my toddler to play in animal farms and adventure playgrounds
@EastLondonCoffeeFiend I'm south east. Nice to meet you here! Have you booked any scans yet?

i think I am becoming more confident as the days go by. My partner not so much… we have a 10 year old though who I imagine will be helpful and can maybe do some of the running around as long as I keep them fed and loved! Having a sibling for my son is a big driving factor in my decision. I probably would have been a hell no if I already had two. It’s out of my control now though, I have to do the best with what I’ve been given. You’ll find the energy from somewhere, just need to shift some priorities.

Yes NW - Harrow 😊

ThatBlueMoose · 21/06/2024 13:16

So I had my gynae appointment today. She was absolutely lovely. She called epu to request they scan me today...apparently there's no sonographer at epu today but they are going to try and see me at the normal scanning dept and will call me if they can see me.
She then did an examination and discovered I have a polyp on my cervix. She is pretty sure that is what is causing the bleeding I'm having. Although still wants me to have a scan to check all is ok with baby.
They can't remove the polyp until the baby is born. Shes assured me it's not cancerous but I still need to have a colopscopy. Has anyone had one before?

@Missingcoffee22 ugh totally rubbing it in 😂 I had half a bottle of my absolute favourite wine left from before I knew I was pregnant it was so sad seeing it in the fridge 😂. I bought some "zerocecco" from Aldi yesterday to try, but then put it in the freezer, forgot about it and it exploded 🤦‍♀️ going to grab another bottle today and hoping it doesn't taste like shit..

I have enjoyed some of the non alcoholic proseccos before but can't remember which...

Yes. I had a cervical polyp discovered in my last pregnancy. It caused a lot of heavy bleeding and took a while before they actually diagnosed that was the cause of the bleeding.

They initially said it would have to be removed after I’d had the baby, but it got really big around 16 weeks and I had it surgically removed. Baby was fine, she’s now 2.5 years old. Let me know if you have any questions?

Thank you.

I'm relieved there is a cause for why im bleeding but it's still making me quite anxious. Suppose I will just need to see what happens from here. Hopefully get some reassurance from my scan on Monday

CarrotySnack · 21/06/2024 16:00

Just joining the group, hello all. I think I'm due 5 Feb but not too sure.

Lidlisthebusiness · 21/06/2024 17:34

Can I tentatively join you all please? I'm very early, due around the 24th Feb, but have diabetes so won't go much over 37 weeks which puts me in the 1st week of February. I only tested on the advice of my diabetes nurse to rule pregnancy out as my blood sugars were going mad, and I couldn't get them down. Turns out, that's a really early sign of pregnancy!

UrbanSquirrel · 21/06/2024 17:39

Welcome @Lidlisthebusiness and @CarrotySnack!

@ThatBlueMoose I'm pleased today's appointment was helpful in terms of giving you a bit more info. Your gynae sounds like a good one! Still keeping fingers very much crossed for Monday, but hopefully the polyp might explain the bleeding? Fingers crossed 🤗

Bluebell91 · 21/06/2024 18:57

Anyone getting some sort of heart burn after eating (feels like my throat is on fire and I'll be sick 😂). I'm around 6-7 weeks and started to feel nauseas in an evening and early morning (basically when I am sat down and not in work 😂). I've gagged a few times but other than that no major symptoms. I'm sure I was throwing up daily by now with my other 2 🙈

DauntedAF · 22/06/2024 07:37
