I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Hi ladies - I had an early scan at EPU today due to previous losses and am measuring right on 6 weeks as expected with a heartbeat. DD is 11/2. Feeling a lot more hopeful about this pregnancy now :)

Oh congrats @AH2023 that's splendid news! I'm really pleased for you. It's just good to have that little extra bit of reassurance, isn't it? 🤗

Anyone else feeling totally knackered today? I was OK at the end of last week but yesterday and today all I want to do is sleep! 😂

ThatBlueMoose · 18/06/2024 18:14

Yes I am absolutely shattered today. I wake up with nausea and by afternoon I'm absolutely starving 🙈
Had more pink/red spotting today so did another digital and finally getting 3+ so feeling abit more hopeful

Every day! I'm usually pretty tired anyway but it's in overdrive lol. I woke up this morning thinking the nausea wasn't too bad... now I'm just back from walking my dog and trying desperately not to be sick 🤢

AH2023 · 18/06/2024 21:06

@UrbanSquirrel @Redapple21 @WildFinch thank you all! I feel so lucky today.

UrbanSquirrel · 18/06/2024 21:18

@Roxttc How are you feeling now? Are you any better? 🤗

Roxttc · 18/06/2024 21:30

Congratulations @AH2023 ☺️ Bet that’s made you feel much better x

@UrbanSquirrel Thanks for asking I do feel a lot better - not completely “normal” but is there a normal in pregnancy? 😂

Does anyone know if they test for any mineral/vitamin deficiencies at your 8 week appointment like Calcium etc?

Not expecting but was in this position last year and remember the early Feb 2024 thread being a life saver.

wish you all well on your journeys ❤️

Almost 7 weeks now! It’s very hard with the anxiety to be honest, I think especially given how long it’s taken, because I know if god forbid anything happens to this one it would likely take ages again.

It was a long journey and I’m sure we will be fine! I’m trying not to stress so much as the tests are getting a lot darker every day. I have told myself once I get a dye stealer I will stop but I know that’s silly. Just scarred after the faint positives last month and then the chemical!
Are you feeling well? Like many others on this thread have said I am completely wiped out. Don’t remember that this early with my first!

Oh thank you so much. That's really kind! x

6w5 today and whilst not vomming in the mornings I feel like I want to spew until about lunchtime and a feeling like I have been out all night with no sleep..despite being in bed at 10pm and possibly living the cleanest lifestyle I've had since turning 18 lol

I have an overwhelming urge to tell boss but leaving it for a few more weeks.. think I'll spill if the sick feeling gets worse.

Hettycan · 19/06/2024 07:43

Hi ladies - I have an early scan at the EPU today, due to previous losses, and I'm so nervous and feel so sick about it. I'm only 5w6d but I actually think I ovulated early as I got a positive test 5 days after predicted ovulation so hoping I'm a little further along and they can see something. Last MC was a blighted ovum I think so my fear is they tell me it's just an empty sac.

I don't know if it's normal or something to worry about but CM looked a slightly different colour this morning, I wouldn't say it was brown or pink but it definitely looks a little discoloured and not totally clear - this has freaked me out and I think could be the start of a MC.

Will update after the scan although I don't want to share bad news on an otherwise happy and excited thread

Bluebell91 · 19/06/2024 07:44

Anyone got hardly any symptoms? My anxiety is through the roof. I feel slightly sick (nothing major or would stop me from doing anything), I gag at the smell of the fridge in a morning but other than that.. nothing! With my previous two I remember throwing up in a morning and feeling rubbish all day 🙈 although there's a big age gap this time.

I haven't really had any symptoms either and it definitely adds to the anxiety! Like you a little bit of brief nausea in the mornings, and I do feel more tired - but that could also be the anxiety and early mornings!
At the very start I had a very heavy feeling in my uterus for about a week but that's gone away now and just a little bit bloated, but again iv eaten more carbs and sugar than I usually would so that's probably why!

Good luck with the scan today. Fingers crossed they can see a little bean in there.

Let us know how you get on, and don’t be silly about this only being a happy thread, I think it’s a support group for all the ups and downs!

I feel exactly the same and having the same dilemma re telling my boss. I feel absolutely awful until 5pm ish when I start to feel a lot better. Not been sick but constantly feeling queasy and like I have the worst hangover of my life!

Hope you start to feel better soon

Same sore boobs have eased and so has lower aches and pains, no nausea no being sick not even tired but I think it’s cos I’ve been eating a lot more so energy levels are high !

susie1984234 · 19/06/2024 09:05

@Pcosdegallo @jaybeez I actually told my boss right away. I know it was very early but she knew I was trying for a baby and I work as a retail Store Manager in a big shop so my job is really heavy going normally I muck in with the team to help with heavy lifting, pulling 12 hour shifts when necessary etc.
Just explained that I was really early on but that I would be taking a step back from the heavy physical stuff

UrbanSquirrel · 19/06/2024 10:39

Good luck for the scan @Hettycan - and whatever the result, we're here to share it with you. That's what this thread is for! Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you x

UrbanSquirrel · 19/06/2024 10:44

@susie1984234 @Pcosdegallo @jaybeez I've also told my boss as well as two colleagues with whom I work very closely. We're in the middle of a major project at the moment for which I'm the lead, and I decided that I needed them to know so that they don't think I'm flaky if I need someone else to cover some of my public-facing work.

Like Susie, I explained it was super-early. Everyone has been great and very supportive, but also very discreet. It means I don't have to come up with too many excuses for doctors' appointments - although we've also had a lot of fancy dinners recently, so the antibiotics excuse has had to be trotted out a lot for other people!!!

somethingabouther · 19/06/2024 11:41

Does anyone feel super anxious? I’m not sure what I’m anxious about whether it’s the pregnancy or the future or telling everyone but ever since I found out at the weekend I’ve just felt so anxious and I’m not usually a massively anxious person! Planning on telling my husband tonight now I’ve had it confirmed on a clear blue instead of the cheap tests, hoping that will help with some of the anxiety!

I’ve got a girls trip abroad next weekend which I think is adding to it, worried about travelling and sickness and I don’t want to tell the girls yet as I’ll only be nearly 6 weeks, but if I’m not drinking it’s going to be so obvious! I was tempted to cancel but it’s been booked for nearly a year
