I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Hey, I'm 4 weeks +4 and today is the first day I've had bad nausea but also really bad headache. Has anyone else had this at this stage?

Lemonbalm8 · 15/06/2024 15:58

Hello! Due date 28th February, I had to check the year is not a leap year, just in case 😂
It's super early days here, probably earliest one can have bfp. I've had lots of early losses but trying to not let that get me down, just need a bunch of medications come Monday. Based in London with my husband and toddler. Funnily was supposed to start IVF next cycle and did a hycosy in may, so the pressure/luck was hopefully on my side. Good luck to everyone.

Lemonbalm8 · 15/06/2024 15:59

Ah and not many symptoms here until today (dpo 10), got tiredness and headache and minor nausea. I counted myself out as I always had symptoms around dpo 8, but this month nothing until today.

Moyaingoya · 15/06/2024 18:42

Is anyone else experiencing sort of flippy feelings in their stomach? I had a MMC at 9 weeks so sort of paranoid at every twinge. It’s not painful but 🫣

superj21 · 15/06/2024 13:35

@LacedBouquet I also feel like my symptoms aren't as bad today - hardly any nausea which is weird because I've had that pretty constantly. I'm visiting family and was doing an adventure race so glad for it in that sense but makes me feel worried with the combo. I'm hoping it goes back up tomorrow. I generally find it pretty reliable for me in terms of the temps and always have my own pinpointed 😕

@retrievermum that's good that it went back up so hopefully everything is ok. Fingers crossed for your scan ❤️

Again, I’ve seen tons of stories of the same thing with the dip and symptoms were less but went back up the next day. Seems to be related to progesterone fluctuations which are common in early pregnancy.
Have you had any cramping or spotting?

SJLOU · 15/06/2024 19:05

Amme18 · 15/06/2024 10:18

Yes, as someone else said, the “today I am pregnant” mantra is quite helpful.

@SJLOU i was also testing daily with the easy at homes and the lines really didn’t feel as dark as when i was pregnant last time. Wondering if it’s a batch thing. I stopped once I’d got a clear blue line and then a digital weeks. I think I’ll take another digital weeks to check it’s gone up from 1-2, once I’ve got a 3+ I’m done POAS!

@susie1984234 I’ve been using Mod med strips and they’ve been getting darker until todays which just looked lighter than yesterdays. But yeah I think I should have stopped when I got my BFP, as it’s not good to be doing it everyday for reasons like today. I’ve still got my pregnancy symptoms so 🤞🏽. How exciting you have your first scan in 13 days! 🤩🤩.

@Amme18 yes maybe it could be a batch thing! I’ve been using the Mom Med strips but I have also tested positive on the clear blue. I did a digital one at 1-2 weeks and would like to get another now I’m over 5 weeks, to see if I get the 3+ then I can hopefully relax and give up the POAS too! 😁. It just feels like the longest wait ever for the first scan right?!

superj21 · 15/06/2024 20:11

@LacedBouquet some cramping but I've been experiencing that throughout and I wouldn't say it's worse I don't think. No spotting so I'm taking that as a good sign !

In which case that’s great! I bet tomorrow your nausea will come back with a vengeance! How far along are you again?
I’ve found my symptoms come and go, especially the nausea. I had my first throw up today though with no warning 🙈 and that’s with a 0.5 degree dip x

Yes I do. When I sit or lie quietly I feel like my stomach is flipping. I'm not sure what it means - the uterus stretching and growing?

HelpMeDrRanj · 15/06/2024 21:03

@Moyaingoya yes I'm noticing every little cramp and stomach feeling! I had a MMC with my first pregnancy and it does make you a bit more anxious. My symptoms stopped at 8/9 weeks and I lost the baby at 12, so anytime my symptoms stop/change I worry. But I also stopped having symptoms with my second child before 12 weeks and he's absolutely perfect, so it may well be nothing to worry about! Hopefully these will be all good x

superj21 · 15/06/2024 21:10

@LacedBouquet hopefully you're right ! I'll probably regret saying that tomorrow when I'm feeling awful 😂 I'm 5+2

My symptoms definitely changed each day last week, so here’s to you nausea being back with a vengeance tomorrow 🙌🏻🤞🏻

AnnieStar12 · 15/06/2024 21:39

Hello. Hope I can join you all. I’m 6+1 today with an IVF pregnancy after 2 miscarriages last year.
Had my first scan yesterday and saw a little heartbeat!
My due date is 7th Feb 2025.

CLJ123 · 16/06/2024 06:19

Hi! I am due Feb 17th with our 🌈 and hoping all goes well. Pregnancy after a loss is an exciting but nervous time so being part of a group would be great!

Josiedis · 16/06/2024 07:33

Hi all congrats everyone. I got my positive last week after a frozen round of ivf. I am 4 weeks and have been quite manic with testing after a previous loss and a long time ttc. Tests progressing ok (I think). I just wanted to check a symptom with you guys I feel uncomfortable pressure and heaviness when laying down - which feels quite extreme for how early I am. I haven’t been able to find anyone else say this except on a list of ectopic symptoms. Has anyone felt this way?

I also have extremely low amh. It's such a challenging time as a lot rides on this. I am on progesterone, aspirin now and likely clexane from week 5-6.

gormlessgoldilocks · 16/06/2024 11:04

I have a question

Based on LMP I should be 4+1 but the NHS app has me at 3+4 probably based on my cycle length of 32 days. Which one should I be referring to?

jaybeez · 16/06/2024 11:48

@gormlessgoldilocks I'm in a similar position with my date being later based on cycle length compared to last period date. I'm going with the later date for now until I have my dating scan - when I had my first I thought I was a week or so further along and it was really disheartening to go back the way at my 12 week scan! So this time I'm going with the later due date until I know otherwise.

Do you have any idea when you ovulated?

Welcome! :) So sorry to hear about your losses! I also have a luteal phase insufficiency and had three early losses last year around 5w. I also have a low AMH but oddly have 13 follicles so they don't really know why my AMH is low.
Funnily enough, this time I wasn't taking progesterone (I did in the previous pregnancy but it didn't work for me) and this is the furthest I have made it at 6+1.
Pregnancy after loss is tough but hopefully for you the combination of progesterone & prednisolone will do the trick. 🙏

LacedBouquet · 16/06/2024 12:11

Yes! I ovulated on June 3

LacedBouquet · 16/06/2024 13:09

gormlessgoldilocks · 16/06/2024 12:41

Yes! I ovulated on June 3

Then you are 3 weeks and 6 days pregnant ☺️

UrbanSquirrel · 16/06/2024 15:19

First scan tomorrow. Eek. Wish me luck.

I bought Expecting Better yesterday and almost wish I hadn't now, because she keeps going on about the fact that feeling sick is a really good sign and lack of nausea is linked to miscarriage. I haven't felt sick at all, and have been only partly reassured by various other sources which say it doesn't mean anything at all, just that I've got lucky. Argh. Maybe there is such a thing as doing too much reading? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well. Let's hope that tomorrow it all looks OK for 7 weeks (deep breaths)... 🤞🏻

HMFx · 16/06/2024 15:31

Hi all.

Joining in if that's okay.

4 weeks today due 23rd February. This will be my second is have a little girl who is 20 months.

I joined a similar group last time and Facebook group and honestly it was the best. I'm still on it now and it kept me sane at times.

Hope everyone is feeling good. 🧡
