I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

7 weeks today. Still a bit bloated now and then, with the odd faint cramp or twinge, though I still think most of that is probably trapped wind 😄 Had to go out for a work dinner last night and definitely felt overfull and grumpy at the end of it - I don't think I can be bothered with shapewear any more 😂 (On the plus side, lime soda turns out to be really nice as a non alcoholic option!)

Still no nausea. Breasts still sore and a bit firmer than before. Agree with some PPs that I'm not sleeping so well, though I think a lot of that is that I feel the need to go to the loo and check everything's OK every time I feel a bit uncomfortable.

Paranoid? Me? 😜

I feel like I could have written this!

I’ve also found out my friend is about 8 weeks ahead of me with her second and it’s ranked my anxiety up even more. Sounds silly but it’s almost like if this pregnancy doesn’t pan out then I’ll have what would have been mirrored back to me!!

LacedBouquet · 14/06/2024 12:19

@Roxttc I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and the nausea is definitely not here in full force yet. Today I have had a very upset tummy but I don't feel like I need to throw up yet. Also have the sore nipples but had no cramping. And also craving carbs

@UrbanSquirrel The bloating is wild, isn't it?? Most of my friends who have had babies said their nausea didn't start until nearer the 8 week mark.

I phoned the midwife this morning to make my booking appointment and I honestly felt like a fraud! It's just that complete disbelief that this is actually happening.

superj21 · 13/06/2024 18:19

Oh god @gothbaddie that sounds awful 😫 did it get better in the second trimester?

not for me unfortunately! I started to pick up around 30ish weeks if I remember correctly

EastLondonCoffeeFiend · 14/06/2024 12:32

Freaking out a bit because I did a Clearblue week detector test this morning and it’s still saying 2-3 weeks even though I’m 25 DPO. I know they’re unreliable, but think I’ll book a blood test next week to check HCG levels. This is our first pregnancy of any kind, so it’s really hard to know how worried to be.

My symptoms are still strong though- nausea is hitting hard today :/

superj21 · 14/06/2024 12:39

@EastLondonCoffeeFiend I got 1-2 weeks at 17dpo and then 2-3 weeks today at 22dpo (5+1). I worried myself a bit with the 1-2 weeks but lots of googling said to take it with a pinch of salt. I've got one more and I'm going to leave it until next week and see if it gets up to 3+. I'm assuming that having symptoms means that there's nothing much to worry about (and ofc some don't have symptoms and are fine too!).

I'm also guessing if implantation happened late then that could skew it a bit? My nausea didn't start til 14dpo so I'm guessing I only implanted a day or two before that.

KittyFantastica · 14/06/2024 12:50

Hi all, congrats on all the BFPs still coming in!

I had my first positive nearly a week ago now and all going well thus far. I had a chemical and a MMC previously, but I feel strangely calm now.

The one thing I'm not too sure about is that my cycles were not yet back to normal due to the MMC and I'm struggling to determine due date. I'm discalcular so having trouble visualising the dates and counting back. I thought they were going back to normal, but when I called EPU to let them know I was pregnant again and arrange a reassurance scan, the midwife said my dates must be off because it would be impossible to have a positive so soon.

I ovulated CD9 only one day after bleeding stopped from my last period and I got a positive on either 8 or 9DPO. This means my cycle this time was only 18 days from start to positive test. All the trackers or due date calculators go with the usual 28 day cycle, and the ones that offer alternatives don't go down lower than 24 days... some give a February due date and some give a March due date.

I had AF 22nd May, ovulated either 30th or 31st May and got my first very faint line on 8th June.

If you were me, where would you put the due date? I want to try and work it out because I know the NHS will say something different and I don't want to panic if I'm not measuring exactly as they say I should.

Thanks @superj21 - I think I will try again in another few days too. But I’ve heard that some people apparently never get 3+ anyway, so trying not to worry too much and take with a pinch of salt as you say!

UrbanSquirrel · 14/06/2024 13:24

@EastLondonCoffeeFiend @superj21 I was still on 2-3 at 5+4 and only got up to 3+ at 5+6 so give it a few more days and see how you get on 🤗

Mabali · 14/06/2024 13:28

jaybeez · 14/06/2024 08:20

@Mabali she'll be two in September, what about yours?

It's so hard not comparing to the first time! I'm constantly thinking "did I feel like this last time? 🤔". Need to try to relax and not compare too much!

He’s 2 in August, so we will have really similar age gaps!

I have booked an early scan now for 30th June to hopefully ease my worries.

retrievermum · 14/06/2024 13:45

@Rycbar same here, my friend is about 4 weeks ahead of me (she’s had two miscarriages relatively recently) and her 12 week scan is in a couple of weeks. Hoping everything is okay for her but also hoping everything is okay for me!

When I had DD a friend of mine was pregnant at the same time and during pregnancy it was lovely, but the relationship really suffered when the babies were born (a lot of inadvertent comparisons I think) so I’m hoping the same doesn’t happen this time.

Thank you! Think I’m 5+4 so that’s very reassuring 😊

Joining in, got my bfp three days ago, still trying to take it all in slowly. Due date as per online calculators are 19 feb 2025. My mind is so calm sometimes and then suddenly anxious.

Slowly trying to enjoy every change that is happening in my body and trusting the process

jadeyjadee · 14/06/2024 17:06

Hi girls! Congratulations to you all on your bfp's!! I got mine yesterday and confirmed today on a digital! I'm 3 months postpartum so looking at 2 under 1! 😂. Nervous but very excited! If there is a WhatsApp group or anything I would love to join! ☺️❤️

Welcome & congrats! ♥️ I love the idea of a WhatsApp group, I don’t mind setting one up if people want to DM me their numbers (if that’s allowed!)

jadeyjadee · 14/06/2024 17:37

I'm sure it is allowed. I did it in my last pregnancy with some other girls on another thread who were all due in March this year! I can send mine to you now 😀

I found out this week that I am pregnant for the first time. My first ever positive pregnancy test! My dh and I have been trying since Dec 2020. We had multiple failed rounds of medicated IUI and then had our first frozen embryo transfer earlier this month. I am due around 20th Feb 2025 🥹🥹
