I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Had my booking appointment today! Got a scan booked for the 20th as midwife thinks I need my dates checking (I know when I ovulated but my period doesn’t line up with it) where I’m expecting to be about 7 weeks. Feeling very nervous!

Anyone else feeling nauseous but…only on an evening? Beginning to wonder if DH is the problem as it only seems to be when he’s around 😂

M00ving · 12/06/2024 21:47

Hi everyone! Haven't been able to read through the 16 pages of posts I have missed but joining all your journeys now. Expecting baby number 3 around 14th Feb and pregnancy anxiety does not get any easier! Have an early scan booked in for 15th July as do not have it in me to wait a full 12 weeks. How is everyone doing? Anyone else on baby number 3? Complete shock to see a BFP as even though we were trying thought we had completely missed ovulation due to illness/time away etc. I have a 4 and 2 year old so think I may also be slightly mad!

Gosh exciting! You're ahead of all of us. Sounds like all went well, congratulations, and good luck for the 20th!

No nausea here yet, but I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've read that it can sometimes kick in with a vengeance round about then...

Or perhaps you're right and it is your DH 🤣

CxCxTtc2024 · 13/06/2024 07:30

Morning all! So exciting we are getting scans booked- has anyone had one already? I bet it will all be the same weekend we end up caving and going...
NHS website is saying I'm anywhere between 5 and 6weeks atm, based on LMP I'm currently 6 but I have a feeling I ovulated super late based on how faint the test lines were at 10 days past my period due date. Soooo I'm not going to go for two weeks. Maybe three.
Finally got a nice dark line on Premom test this morning.
Still have a temperature :(

Also a weird phenomenon- anyone else waking up really early? I'm waking up at 4-5am and being fully awake for an hour before dozing a little bit again. I am certain it's psychological rather than physiological, as it started the Day After I took a +ve test. It happened last time too, but stopped the day after I had the scan confirming MMC.

UrbanSquirrel · 13/06/2024 07:53

@CxCxTtc2024 My first scan (private) is on Monday. Should be 7+3 by then. SO ANXIOUS 😂

BusyTiger · 13/06/2024 08:36

Hi all!

Very excited to be joining this thread. I'm 30 and expecting my first! We had been trying for 3 years now, had 6 months of letrozole and 6 months of clomid and other than a very upsetting chemical pregnancy in October we had no luck. Our fertility clinic had put in for our funding for IVF so we were continuing to try while we waited to hear but didn't have much hope but last Friday I tested and got a positive! The lines have been getting a lot darker each day since then and we are super excited! I am 4 weeks 5 days today (by my calculations)

@CxCxTtc2024

YES, I cannot stop waking up super early and it's killing me! I work from home and don't have to start til 9am (and I'm freelance, so I don't actually have a lot of work some days) so I just lie in bed feeling horrendous doing NYT word games and scrolling. I also don't go back to sleep or doze.. this morning I woke up at 5.45am.

Though tbh I had this intermittently for the last few years, it's really exhausting me now because I'm mid-house move, working, and 6w+3 pregnant.
Let me sleeeeep goddamnit.

HelpMeDrRanj · 13/06/2024 10:41

Tentatively joining you all!
I'm 6½ weeks so due 4th Feb, had quite frequent pregnancy symptoms for the last few weeks but they've now stopped for a few days. Trying not to panic but definitely panicking 🙁

apple67cherry · 13/06/2024 11:26

Wanting to join please 😄 I'm 5+3 weeks pregnant today. Symptoms have just been tiredness and sore boobs - gone so blue lol🥲
Had some bleeding/spotting (only small) last week but had bloods and hcg doubling fine 🙂 however did have again yesterday only for one day after a BM sorry tmi! and they've booked me in for a 5+5 scan this Saturday to make sure everything's in the right place etc.
Wondering when the nausea will kick in!👀

UrbanSquirrel · 13/06/2024 11:30

Congratulations @apple67cherry @HelpMeDrRanj and @BusyTiger! And welcome to what is currently best described as the 'argh, is there actually anything going on in there?' thread 😉

@HelpMeDrRanj Do you have the option of a private scan around the 7 week mark that might put your mind at rest? Mine is going to cost me £70 which definitely isn't nothing, but at the same time I'm hoping it will offer some much needed reassurance ☺️ Wishing you all the best, and do try not to worry - though that's far easier said than done 🤗

Thank you!! Would you call this a good line for 5+3? would like a dye stealer 🤣

HelpMeDrRanj · 13/06/2024 11:41

Thanks @UrbanSquirrel - it may be a possibility but I've just started working more hours (4½ days per week) so don't have much of a window to have one done. I have 2 kids already so have to be sneaky too!
I'm trying to be rational as symptoms stopped with my second and he's absolutely perfect, but I had a MMC with my first pregnancy and symptoms stopped when baby stopped developing. So I know it can go either way, I just want it to go well! I think I will look into early scans...

UrbanSquirrel · 13/06/2024 11:41

@apple67cherry It looks pretty good to me, but I've been doing digital tests this time so am probably not the best person to ask. Anyone else?

Nice and strong through, surely!

i had a digital 2-3 last week I took at 4+5

then I had my hcg repeats at 5+1 and I was 1740 mIU/ml and I think the digitals for 3+ are 1530 hcg required or something so I took one at 5+2 and still 2-3.
So I may wait a few more days as some people never get the 3+ I heard.
Thank you! And congratulations to you also x

Omg ignore me lol 3+ is 2700+ hcg. That's why I haven't had it yet then 🤣🤣

UrbanSquirrel · 13/06/2024 11:48

@apple67cherry How are you testing your HCG? I've seen other people talk about their levels too. Do you have some kind of home testing kit?

I got my 3+ on Clearblue at 5+6 if that helps at all. I was still on 2-3 two days earlier.

So I had a chemical miscarriage last year and last week at 4 weeks preg I had small bleed/spotting that lasted a few days but never got heavy and then the other night SORRY TMI I had a severe UTI which made me throw up blood etc. wasn't nice but was in a panicked state! so they got me in for bloods to make sure my pregnancy wasn't affected and then had repeats to make sure hcg was doubling appropriately. I've had another small bleed yesterday which is why they've moved an early scan forward too just to find where it's coming from. Hope that helps x

This was all from ANE and womens centre/gynae sorted it x

@apple67cherry Oh GOD that sounds horrible. Poor you! So sorry that you had to go through all of that, and hope that it will now all calm down for you as your body settles. 🤗

@AWilliams92 Laughing so much at the idea of it all being like a Deliveroo order. Is that the modern version of the stork, do you think? 🤣

Haha imagine!!!

to be honest I'm really disappointed with the lack of care I had with it all. I found out I had an infection, sent a sample in and requested antibiotics (I suffer from UTIs easily as it is) and I had to keep on at them that it's important as I'm pregnant. I waited 3-4 days for them. Was prescribed nitrofurantoin. Took them for 5 days telling them these aren't working (they told me to just carry on with them) and then next morning I just woke up in agony, severely vomiting, could not move etc. phoned 111 and needed emergency ambulance...I was waiting 1-2 hours for it so ended up having a taxi to the hospital where they did urine sample/bloods. "Yes you have an infection but nitrofurantoin isn't safe for pregnancy" ...I was in hysterics like why would I be prescribed them if it's not safe??? then 10 mins later dr says oh my mistake yes they are safe, carry on with them. Long story short I now have amoxicillin but that could've ended very badly for my pregnancy very quickly with how long they left to treat the infection 😡😡xx

Liv6583 · 13/06/2024 13:27

Aw that's so lovely to read 🥰 very early days for me due 18th Feb but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be OK x

superj21 · 13/06/2024 14:43

How is everyone dealing with the nausea? I've been having it all day every day and although have not actually thrown up yet there's been a few close calls and I feel constantly on the verge. I feel like I get momentary relief when I'm eating something but as soon as I've finished it the nausea is back. And I cannot just eat all day 😂

This is how I feel and I have no solution! I'm trying to eat mints/chewing gum to help but only feel better when I'm eating.

I remember this from my other pregnancy and think I just powered through and it eventually went around 10/11 weeks I think.

I'm trying to eat little and often too!
