I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Hello - I am another lurker who's finally decided to say hi.
I'm 4weeks 5 days, due date 14th Feb. My period was due yesterday and I did a CB digital and it said 3+ but I got my first positive about 10 days ago.
I feel like I am mostly just waiting to miscarry as I have had 2 MCs and 1 CP in the last year, so this is my 4th positive month.

I don't have any symptoms other than being more emotional than usual - also probably more irritable 🫣 but that might just be the anxiety.

I am so terrified of miscarrying again, I don't feel any joy, just sadness that I will probably have to go through it all again.

Way to bring the party down - sorry! 🫣 but I have no one to talk to about it in real life and I don't want to worry my husband as he's just happy and thinks it will all be fine.

Hi @Hettycan fingers crossed for you! Positive thoughts, hope you can start to feel happy about this one soon 💕 xx

superj21 · 11/06/2024 16:01

@LacedBouquet I couldn't believe it! The dr did say it could increase your chances but I wasn't expecting it after so long of literally not even the faintest line. Congrats to you too ❤️!

Hetty, we're all here for you and we'll be rooting for you. I guess none of us know right now what the future has in store for us - but all we can do is take it a day at a time. Hard though that is when we all feel so impatient and we just want to be sure, darn it! 😅

You've definitely had a really hard time and it's totally understandable that you feel anxious. From reading others' experiences here, I know there are others who've been in similar situations too. But that's why we're all here, right? - to get moral support for what we're going through, and to offer that same support to everyone else?

You're not alone, Hetty. I'm keeping everything crossed for you - and for all the other amazingly brave women here who are embarking on this again after such challenging experiences 🤗

Oh gosh I'm finding out as early as I can. I'm a planner through and through, and like to have all the info at my fingertips. I find that it's more enjoyable to know what it is you have to look forward to - although I know everyone is very different! For example, my husband would be quite happy to find out whenever 😂

Hettycan · 11/06/2024 16:19

@UrbanSquirrel and @xBeckyJayne
Thank you very much for your kind words - it really does mean a lot ☺️

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 16:24

@UrbanSquirrel Yes that's what I was going to do but I think I may have been convinced to wait for the surprise, I do already have names picked out for each 🙈 xx

Ha ha, so do I! Care to share? 😉

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 16:36

@UrbanSquirrel I've chosen Olivia or Joshua. What about you? xx

I love them names I like Olivia I also like Betsy and Maggie xx

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 16:43

@UrbanSquirrel Ahh yes! Bring those names back, they aren't very common these days! 🥹 xx

bravotango · 11/06/2024 16:45

Omg is sneezing a symptom?! I'm sneezing loads, might just be pollen though 😂 I'm also weeing lots and am... emotional. Some gastric issues too...

Definitely finding out the sex, probably privately at 16 weeks!

Ooh both gorgeous and very timeless. I think we've decided on Will (William) if it's a boy or Kitty (Catherine) if it's a girl.

Now I'm aware that William / Catherine makes me look like a raging royalist but I promise it's coincidence 😂 I've always loved the name Will, and Kitty was the name of my husband's several greats grandmother, and we thought it was very pretty.

We'll almost certainly only be having one, so it's either or ☺️

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 16:48

@mummy2nearly5 Lovely names too. I like Betsy in particular - for some reason it sounds like she'd be an adorable bundle of mischief 😂

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 16:49

@UrbanSquirrel I agree, I can totally see that 🥰 xx

Roxttc · 11/06/2024 16:53

I’m sure it’s far too early for baby brain but I do feel so clumsy and forgetful the past 2 weeks! Today I managed to explode tomato purée all over me, took some cumin out the cupboard and dropped it all over the floor and then picked up my laptop and dropped my mouse in cats water bowl all in space of half an hour and I am never ever like this usually 😂😂 I have days of no symptoms then the next day cramping sore boobs etc

Mistful · 11/06/2024 17:08

Hi everyone 👋

Thought I'd join as I'm still in the 'is this really happening?' stage!

I'm 5 weeks, 1 day. I was an IVF patient and have 3 embryos frozen. My last IVF round failed and we decided to take 1 month off for my body to recover, before starting the next round.

And...somehow in that 1 month I've managed to get pregnant naturally! I've heard that couples get pregnant naturally after giving up on IVF, but I never thought it would happen to us!

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 17:10

@Mistful that's amazing news, congratulations! I love that it's happened naturally for you 🤗 xx

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 17:12

@Roxttc 🤣🤣 I have days like that and usually just go back to bed! xx

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 17:20

Welcome @Mistful - and I agree, such extraordinary news. Congratulations! You must be over the moon!

LacedBouquet · 11/06/2024 13:34

That's great to know you don't have many symptoms but have blazing positives!

You're absolutely right each pregnancy IS different and just because we had a loss before, doesn't mean this one will be a loss. I will honestly be the happiest girl in the world if I make it to the second trimester!

so will I! To even make it to a 12 week scan! I’m crossing all my fingers and toes.

My tests have gotten super dark way quicker than they did with my MMC. I got a 3+ on clearblue at 4w6d this time but didn’t get it last time until 6 weeks. Hoping that’s a good sign. I have an early scan at the EPU next Tuesday at 6+1 so hoping there is something there

dreaminofholidays · 11/06/2024 18:05

Hi,

I’m another who has been following the group and now tentatively joining. I got my BFP a week ago, due 14th February.

I’ve booked an early viability scan for when I’m 6+6 but pondering whether I should move it back a week but argh the waiting is so hard at this point
