I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Hey everyone - been watching this thread for over a week now unsure whether to join as was very faint lines however they’ve been getting darker and I’m now sure I am. Have a 5 year old already and had to have a TFMR in November just gone. Trying to not be too excited at the moment 🙈

No symptoms so far except a little twitching/stretching. Hope you are all well. I’ve messaged to join the WhatsApp so hopefully can chat there soon xx

Also is anyone else feeling like their lower abdomen is doing somersaults and twitching? I don't remember it being like this so early last time or when it eases off (before the kicking starts!) I read something about it due to increased blood flow and the uterus stretching and growing.

Hey Mamas!
I found out last week Wednesday I was pregnant again after a MC earlier this year. My DH and I habe been trying since 2021! Est Due date is 3rd Feb 🥰!!!

Naturally im worrying about everything.. had a scan yesterday and they told me im not as far along as I thought but apparently that's normal. Anyway been feeling the same twinges and stretchy feeling in my lower abdo. Not intense enough to warrant alarm bells but enough to make me wonder what's happening. But I've been reading all over that it's normal and actually a really good sign .

I have another scan on Thursday and again next week Thursday so praying and hoping all goes well 🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️

I'd love to join the Whatsapp group but can't work out how to private message someone (Mumsnet novice!). Can anyone help a girl out?

Are you using the Talk app or the website? I don't think there's an option to do this via the app but I think if you access the forum via the website there are three dots to the side of everyone's name and that's how you DM someone. Haven't actually done it myself yet, as I'm waiting until we have our first scan on Monday.

I think @Tulipwood is the one to DM (at least I hope so as I've given her name to others 😂)

fsr111 · 11/06/2024 07:25

Amazing, thank you @UrbanSquirrel. I am on the app so will try the website later!

I'm also a novice and also only on the app, and people kept talking about DMs and I was similarly confused for quite a long time!!! 😅

CxCxTtc2024 · 11/06/2024 08:02

Can I relax for a few seconds now??

I hadn't even considered using a computer to look on MN... who are we DMing ??

How is everyone today?

I feel a bit sick but I just took all my supplements on an empty stomach so that's most likely the reason!

So I'm wondering if anyone can help, I'm 5+2 today, I took a pregnancy test on Sunday 3+ clear blue was so relived had one left and this morning when going to the bathroom when wiping sorry tmi I felt like it wasn't clear not bleeding as such but maybe just before. I've had 3 miscarriages before this one. Really worrying now as took my last test and it's 2-3 so gone down from 3+ 💔

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 10:10

@mummy2nearly5 I can't offer advice but just to say I'm really hoping everything goes OK for you. From reading other posts on here and other threads I know that spotting / discharge isn't necessarily a problem but of course you know your body better than anyone else. I really hope someone else can give you some more helpful advice and am keeping my fingers crossed 🤗

@CxCxTtc2024 We were talking about signing up to the WhatsApp group that (I think) @Tulipwood was setting up ☺️

SJLOU · 11/06/2024 10:22

Hey girls,
Hope it’s ok for me to hop onto this thread, I’ve got a due date of 14th Feb on my Flo app! ☺️.
It’s my first pregnancy and I’m currently obsessing over every symptom and testing daily 🙃 so it would be great to have you guys to chat to! ☺️.
I’m considering booking in for a private early scan because I’m not sure I can wait until 12 weeks!
I’ve had cramping since conception, on and off. I have slight nausea now and then. And feel a bit dizzy at times too! All normal from what I’ve read ☺️ the cramps scare me though, they make me think the worst! Done a test this morning though and it was strong so 🤞🏽. Going to get myself booked in for the first midwife booking appointment soon as I’d like to get in before 10 weeks like they recommend. It’s all starting to feel very real! 😬

bravotango · 11/06/2024 10:32

@CxCxTtc2024 great lines!!!

How quickly did people's booking appointments come through? I can't remember from last time!

SweetPeaPods · 11/06/2024 11:36

My midwife won't even speak to me to book an appt until I'm 8 weeks. Nightmare for trying to juggle with work commitments.

LacedBouquet · 11/06/2024 11:43

Hey girlies, how are you all getting on with symptoms? I am 5w3d today and tbh the nausea hasn't really kicked off yet. I've had some here and there mainly after eating but a bit anxious that I haven't been hit with it full force.
I haven't tested since 4w when my tests were pretty dark as it's just not good for my anxiety.
Other symptoms are excess watery discharge, sore head, very sensitive nipples, and very upset tummy (TMI but have had the shits since 7DPO lol!). Also sneezing a lot and a bit breathless.
I feel like even with symptoms I'm rushing to the toilet all the time to check for blood. Having had 3 chemical pregnancies last year has made me into one big anxious mess x

I am 5+1 and also no major symptoms! I’m a bit more tired than usual, and my boobs hurt on and off, for example last night I had a lot of soreness but all gone this morning. other than that, apart from the blazing positive tests I feel pretty normal!

I have had a MMC and a CP so I see stand how you feel re anxiety. Each pregnancy is different and our symptoms could be completely different from one time to the next. It’s tough though!

That's great to know you don't have many symptoms but have blazing positives!

You're absolutely right each pregnancy IS different and just because we had a loss before, doesn't mean this one will be a loss. I will honestly be the happiest girl in the world if I make it to the second trimester!

Odessa1 · 11/06/2024 13:36

Hello all, I'm 6 weeks gone. First time pregnancy. Symptom wise I've had a tiny bit of nausea, a few cramps and quite a lot of exhaustion (I'm talking 2-3 hour naps a day!) but the worst symptom has to be my boobs. They are so painful and I've already gone up 2 cup sizes!!

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 13:40

@LacedBouquet 6w 4 days here and still no symptoms other than sore breasts and feeling fairly knackered most of the time. My mum tells me that she had no symptoms when she was pregnant with me, so I'm hoping I've inherited that good luck ☺️ But it does leave you feeling a bit uncertain doesn't it? I don't think I'm going to really believe it until our 7-week scan on Monday (assuming that goes well and all is as it should be!)

elb1504 · 11/06/2024 14:30

I've just turned 6 weeks and all of a sudden the sickness and nausea has hit me, last week was just sore boobs.

Currently on holiday and whilst it is great to be able to nap a lot, the nausea is not great in heat and with a 4 year old!

Going to book a private scan for when I'm back around 8 weeks I think, anyone else just kind of plodding along thinking it's not real?

superj21 · 11/06/2024 14:40

Hello 👋

I've been lurking and scared to post in case I jinx something! Been TTC 4 years and was told last Dec could go on the list for IVF or have a HyCoSy to check tubes. Decided to do the HyCoSy, which showed everything was fine. That was on 21 May, ovulated on the 23 May. After so many years, I don't test until a missed period and this month was a first for that!! Tested when I was three days late (was away camping), first ever BFP. Currently 4 + 4 so still very early days. I'm in total shock and now completely paranoid about something going wrong! I've been nauseous but not sick, backache, quite a lot of cramping, and sore bbs.

Estimated due date 13 Feb 🙂.

That's definitely reassuring that others are the same. If your mum had no symptoms then it sounds to me like you definitely inherited her good luck! That's so exciting about your scan! How are you feeling about it? The EPU said I could phone them for my next pregnancy if I get to 6 weeks to book in an 8 week scan so I think I'll do that on Friday eek!

Welcome! Congrats, what great news 😀 I also have just gotten pregnant off the back of doing a hycosy in April which showed nothing wrong. I think sometimes it can push a little bit of 'gunk' through and help an embryo pass more easily. That's what my acupuncturist says anyway 😆

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 15:43

@LacedBouquet Well this is our first time getting this far, so it doesn't seem real right now. I'm just tired and sore-breasted and grumpy because suddenly all my favourite food and drink seems to be off-limits! 🤣

For us I think we just want to be reassured that something is there! If it goes through we'll be on the older end of the spectrum - due date is 2 days after my 40th - and I have form for worrying 😅 We're in the fortunate position that we can afford to have the odd extra private scan just for that little bit of reassurance. At the moment I'm trying not to be too emotional about it - trying to take a detached practical approach (which naturally hasn't stopped me creating vast numbers of Pinterest boards...).

xBeckyJayne · 11/06/2024 15:47

Hi, I just tested positive on Sunday! This is my first pregnancy so any advice welcomed! Hope you're all ok; I'm still in shock and quite scared to be honest 🙈 xx

And also, hello and welcome @superj21 @elb1504 @Odessa1 and @SJLOU - congratulations to you all and let's hope for the best for everyone on here over the next few weeks and months 🤞🏻

I'm already so glad I joined this thread. I have a couple of books but nothing matches the knowledge that there are lots of other women out there going through much the same thing at exactly the same time. It's immensely reassuring!

UrbanSquirrel · 11/06/2024 15:51

Oops - and the same to you @xBeckyJayne - your post cropped up just as I posted my last!
