I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Welcome and congrats @Mabali! A Valentine's Day baby for you then 😊

Thank you. Yes ❤️, although my first had his due date moved forward at 12w scan and then was born a day early so I am sure they won’t actually be a Valentines Day baby 😂.

ILoveSummer2 · 09/06/2024 17:42

@Mabali my due date is 14th Feb going by dates as well!! Snap!! :D hey due date twin. lol 😝 omg I would also love a WhatsApp group @Bb542 xxx

MummySophP · 09/06/2024 18:05

Hi all,

hoping you don’t mind if I join too?

husband and I have been TTC for about 11 months but my cycles have been all over the place since I had my implant out July 2023. Literally have a doctors appt tomorrow because my period was 12th April (59 days ago and counting) but we’re getting loads of negatives so assumed something was wrong and then Fri evening had a faint positive, Saturday a lot of faint positives (I’m guilty of over testing as I didn’t trust it) today some very obvious positives that made me brave enough to do a CB digital and got pregnant 1-2 weeks! I assume I must have ovulated very late. We’re excited but don’t want to tell anyone yet and get hopes up! Keeping my doctors appt tomorrow so hopefully get the ball rolling with scan appointments then but estimating I’m due early to mid-Feb and hoping for some company here to keep me sane! Congrats to everyone with Feb due dates too!

Thecomfortador · 09/06/2024 19:37

I think there's a WhatsApp group, in one of the earlier pages there's a poster to message if you wish to join it 😊.

UrbanSquirrel · 09/06/2024 19:37

Bb542 · 09/06/2024 16:30

Hi everyone. Tentatively joining as I got a positive test today (albeit a very very faint line). Due date would be the 20th of February I think. Not getting my hopes up as I had a miscarriage earlier this year at 8 weeks so it'll be hard to get excited before then 🙈

Is there a WhatsApp group going yet? If so, would love to join.

How is everyone doing? ❤️

Yes there is a WhatsApp group. I haven't yet joined but @Tulipwood is the one to message and she can add you.

I'm holding off until til after our viability scan as I don't really believe it's happening yet 😉

SweetPeaPods · 09/06/2024 22:08

Hello. Tentatively joining. BFP was a bit of a surprise. Number 4 and panicking just a little! DC are 11,9 and 18m. Been cramping a fair bit so not getting too excited but we'll see what happens.

Mamma364747 · 09/06/2024 23:51

Also is anyone else feeling like their lower abdomen is doing somersaults and twitching? I don't remember it being like this so early last time or when it eases off (before the kicking starts!) I read something about it due to increased blood flow and the uterus stretching and growing.

ali00x · 10/06/2024 00:06

Hi all, would love to join the thread (and WhatsApp group if possible) ☺️
I am another one due on 14th Feb. Found out on Friday at 4 weeks and this will be my first so feeling quite nervy! Have been feeling very crampy and tired over the last week, with nausea having kicked in the last 3 days or so, but sounds like this isn't out of the ordinary for some at this stage which is reassuring!

Runningandrenovating · 10/06/2024 10:33

I’d also like to join - very much a surprise BFP but we had planned to start TTC #1 at the end of the summer - happy and grateful but hoping I feel well enough to get through a string of weddings and a hen do in the next few months! Natural cycles thinks I’m due 18th Feb, got a private scan booked at 8 weeks as it doesn’t feel real!
Is 4 weeks too early for sickness to start? Feel SO nauseous today and really hoping it’s not a sign of things to come!
Also been having various twinges and mild cramps but no bleeding, from obsessive reading it seems this is normal but any reassurance would be welcome 🤗

UrbanSquirrel · 10/06/2024 10:53

Hello @SweetPeaPods @ali00x and @Runningandrenovating - congratulations and welcome! I can't help with your queries as this is my first rodeo but I hope some of the other lovely people here will be able to help you out.

Mamma364747 · 10/06/2024 11:17

Is anyone gaining weight yet? I seem to be! I'm surprised given that my activity levels and food intake has not changed. What is happening physiologically that all other things stay the same but we put on weight in pregnancy?

bravotango · 10/06/2024 12:25

I've also just booked an early scan (private) for the 26th when I'll be 8 weeks (I think!!). I remember last time waiting those two weeks for the scan felt like an age, hoping with a toddler keeping me busy it'll go faster this time. Also self-referred through MyPregnancyNotes, fingers crossed my booking appnt comes through soon!

AWilliams92 · 10/06/2024 12:29

Hi There - would to join in… I found out I am pregnant last week. First time pregnancy after my husband and I trying for a couple of months.

all seems a bit surreal…. Just had our GP appointment where we need to choose our hospital. I’m due 7 February!

im in London, and really want an elective c-section - interestingly the GP said that’s possible on the NHS (I have had friends who had their request for c-sections denied). We had always thought we would go private for the C-section but if we can save some £££ then that may change things!

We havent told anyone yet so appreciate this forum - and apologies for the longest first message!!

Roxttc · 10/06/2024 12:43

@AWilliams92 Congratulations! My first pregnancy and I’m due Feb 7th too 😊

is anyone else struggling with whether to tell anyone or not? I’m only 5w 3d so really early, I’d love to tell my mum but I also don’t want to tell her til I’m a bit further along. Want to tell her in person anyway and due to holiday crossovers won’t see her til July now. I just feel anxious about getting to the 8 week mark then 12 I think I over consume info and take in all the worries not the positive! The only person who knows is my husband we’ve know for almost 2 weeks now.

Due date twins!

I want to tell my mum also but have a similar fear of whether it’s too early to share or not! I also think my dad is not prepared for me to be pregnant.. I’m an only child and my dad still can’t get his head round the fact I’m in my 30s and been married for 2 years!

Yes also struggling with this! Not telling my mum yet as she’s got a lot going on at the moment, I have just told one very close friend as I needed to talk to somebody and we’ve always had a pact that we would share with each other. In our friendship group one is TTC and struggling so I’m nervous to tell her.
Will need to tell some others around 10 weeks due to a hen do but should have had early scan by then which will be more reassuring!

Roxttc · 10/06/2024 13:28

@AWilliams92 The silly thing is if anything ever went wrong the first person I’d want to talk to is my mum! I know what you mean about telling your dad I’m the same position but I think he’d still be shocked 😂

@Runningandrenovating Yes I’m thinking maybe telling her after my 9 week scan if everything goes well then! I want to be able to tell people when they can relax about it a bit too not feel anxious like I do!

CxCxTtc2024 · 10/06/2024 13:34

Hi guys....
I'm going to join for a bit but I'm not sure I'll be here long...but I got a BFP last Thursday.
Backstory (as brief as possible...)

Age 37, TTC1 2 years. Went for IVF abroad in Nov 23, low AMH so poor responder, 2 embryos frozen.

Waiting for period to come to start process in Jan this year- found out I was pregnant. Had MMC in march, surgery etc, this is my second cycle after all that.

Waiting for period to come this time to start process for embryo transfer, 6 days late (last Sunday) BFN. Fine.

Tuesday- developed bad kidney infection, been on ABs since then, almost to a&e but caught it early enough, tested thurs as was sad about having to miss the embryo transfer this cycle, VVV faint BFP.

Testing positive ever since, had 1-2 weeks on clear blue last Saturday.
Problem is..... the line isn't getting darker on my Premom strips. And it's not anywhere near as dark as control.

My LMP was 2/5, I thought I would have ovulated around day 12-15ish, but that would mean this is way too light, OR i ovulated super late for some reason (how late can you ovulate???) and caught, so it's all okay it's just a few weeks behind what I would expect based on my period.
I just don't know.......

I'm not getting my hopes up at all (DH and I are both more in disbelief than anything!) but have sacked off the coffee and wine just in case...

I'm fully expecting if I have a scan in a few weeks there's nothing there. It will be less heartbreaking than seeing a flutter one week and then nothing the next. It's so soon to be going through this all again but my age/egg reserve is not slowing down.

anyway... Hi.... possibly.... 🫣🥰

I'll catch up on posts at some point but I hope everyone is doing well.

KittyFantastica · 10/06/2024 14:13

Hello ladies, may I join you?

TTC#1 since December. I had a chemical in January and a MMC in March, which resulted in a D&C and a 7.5 week wait for return of cycle. I had one cycle that was only 18 days long, so really wasn't hopeful this month. Lo and behold, I got a BFP at 9DPO on Saturday. I ovulated (confirmed with OPKs) CD9 and have read all kinds of horrible things about immature eggs in early ovulation, so I'm trying not to feel too hopeful.

It was my mum's birthday on Saturday and we were blown away and needing some support so we told her. We'll wait to tell anyone else though.

Hope you're all feeling well!

ab03 · 10/06/2024 14:32

Hi all, did a test a few days ago before my period was due as I was feeling so tired and it was a faint positive. Did another today, and it's positive but still much paler than I was hoping for! If everything is okay then due date will be 16th feb. I am still feeling tired and have some cramping and twitching as others have had but the faint line has made me nervous! This is my second pregnancy, only just over 2 years since the last one, but I can't remember exactly how it felt!

I'm feeling a bit more relaxed this time round and am hoping that my toddler keeps me busy enough that this early stage passes quickly. Looking forward to a scan, just working out whether we should get a private one and whether to take the toddler or ask my mum to babysit without telling her why!

fsr111 · 10/06/2024 15:29

@CxCxTtc2024 - sorry to hear everything you've been through, also been through IVF and a MMC and both things were rubbish. Makes it hard to get even vaguely excited at this stage, doesn't it?

bravotango · 10/06/2024 16:11

@CxCxTtc2024 sorry for all you've been through! But tentative congratulations Smile I have similar dates - LMP 3rd May, 1-2 weeks on CB digital last Tuesday. I did another digital on Saturday morning just gone and it came up with 2-3 weeks which gave some peace of mind because my easy@home's weren't getting significantly darker, and nowhere near as dark as the control. Could you do another digital now it's been a week since your last one?

Thank you for replying and congratulations on your BFP!
It's not been a week, I took a CB normal one on Sunday (8 days ago) and it was negative, then again on Thursday and it was suuuuper faint (I was on CD36 so I was wondering what the hell was going on!) then bought every test known to man to try and all variations on faint pos. CB on Saturday morning was 1-2 weeks.
So, it's definitely not quite right.
I've never had a chemical before, but if it was that and I ovulated when I expected, then I would have thought the first test would have also been positive as that was still several days late, and then getting fainter (and then I'll start bleeding) ??

I'm sorry to hear you've been through it all as well, and so many of the other ladies in this group. I definitely am not even the slightest excited, just a bit worried at the moment.

Oh - so sorry, I misunderstood your post! These early weeks are the worst aren't they because we really just don't know what's going on. Fingers crossed for you (and me!) - we'll know more before long!
