Hi all!

My symptoms have completely gone. Feeling so anxious!
this pregnancy is completely different from my last, no sickness, no discharge, no sore boobs.

Had a private scan at 9 weeks but I cannot rely on it, my minds a mess! I’m desperate to book another scan but I’ll be like this every 2-3 weeks so need to get a grip.

My 12 week scan is next week, and the time is going so slow.

Hope you are all doing okay. X

SunflowerDream · 24/06/2024 16:09

@92Char aw we have matching first scan dates! Wishing you a positive experience - it's so nerve wracking not knowing what is going on inside your own body but I have every hope for all of us that it's all ok and as it should be! Excited and scary times but hopefully this is the start of a less anxious period of our pregnancies💘

Hi everyone.

Has anyone started to suffer with joint pain already? My hips and my knees get so achey after even just a short walk and I'm only 11 weeks! I had heard that hormones can affect your joints but I didnt get this until much later with my previous pregnancy. I am counting down to my scan as well, 1 week today!

Yea! Like I get this bad pain/ache type of thing right on my (sorry tmi) fanny bone 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈 I had PGP (SPD) in my last pregnancy so now I'm like ohhhhh ere we go!

Helloworlds · 25/06/2024 06:27

Ah it looked like it didn’t post. The other link didn’t work for me so I set up this one. I would like to join the other one tho if you’re still accepting people! X

Hi everyone - just updating as we had a NIPT on Friday afternoon at The Birth Company and our results came back this morning. Super impressed with the quick turnaround time and pleased to say everything came back “low risk”. Looking forward to our NHS 12 week scan next Friday 🤞🏼

Evening ladies
Catching up on the thread after a few days now.

Has anyone been told to take aspirin during pregnancy? My first one was a tiny baby and midwife suggested might need aspirin this time for growth. Never heard of it before so wondering if anyone else has it?

Helloworlds · 26/06/2024 06:58

Hi I take aspirin 150 a day. I have that nipt test Sunday. I set up a different WhatsApp group cause the link wouldn’t work go the other one and two people joined and then they both left! I don’t know why lol. If anyone would like to join mine pls do or I would like to join the other one if possible :)

If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason they gave it to you?

MrsNT · 26/06/2024 10:18

@Lemonyfire hey would you mind sharing the FB group link again. If it doesn't work I'll DM u to add privately via friend link etc

It seems I might be out too. I had two previous losses, had a bit of bleeding over the weekend and now it seems I'm measuring 6 weeks rather than 10 weeks, and there is no heartbeat. I am pretty sure it is a missed miscarriage , though they want me to check back in a weeks time. I just can't see how this can have a positive outcome, and have made another thread about it.

All the best for everyone! <3 Babies really are little miracles.

BeLemonQuoter · 26/06/2024 13:18

I am on 150 Aspirin a day from week 10 too. I have been told it improves the blood flow, and the development of the placenta and the growth of the baby. I think I got it because of my age, or maybe because I was with twins at the time of the booking appointment. (I lost one of the twin since then, other baby is finger crossed still healthy)

Hi everyone ☺️ Can I join please?
Im 10 weeks tomorrow with an IVF baby. We were TTC for 6 years so this little one is so special - never even seen a positive test before.
I’ve had 2 scans at 7 weeks and 9+4 and saw the little babe. Very very anxious constantly about MMC though, at every scan I’m expecting them to say something is wrong despite having no signs anything is. My symptoms have mainly gone at 8.5 weeks too which doesn’t help but I know doesn’t mean anything really now I’ve seen baby since then. Anyone have tips for managing anxiety?
Have my NIPT test done tomorrow and my 12 week scan is on the 10th. Very nervous but excited! Hoping that getting the results and finding out the gender will make the next 2 weeks go quickly.
I’m due on 23rd January 🥹

Congratulations to you all. ❤️❤️

BeLemonQuoter · 26/06/2024 17:47

Hi @HopefulllHolly , good to see another ivf pregnancy. We have our first, ivf, pregnancy too after 5 years of trying. Like you, I have hardly any symptoms, only occasionally feeling sick or sore boobs. I was constantly worried too, but fir the last few days, I am more hopeful for no reason. Maybe I got tired of worrying

HopefulllHolly · 26/06/2024 17:56

@BeLemonQuoter Awww congratulations! IVF pregnancies come with a whole host of extra anxieties I think. I’m glad you’re feeling a bit more relaxed. I’m hoping after 12 week scan I’ll be able to enjoy it. It’s funny as you don’t really ever consider it working (or at least I didn’t) so I was totally unprepared for how daunted I’d feel after. I wish I could enjoy it. I love seeing it on the scans but the reassurance only lasts a few days and I’m back worrying again. I had nausea and occasionally have a car sick type feeling, k have had bad headaches the last few days and my boobs are sore after laying down a while but other than that I feel ok! How far along are you now?

Thank you, I totally agree.

LauraJean1983 · 26/06/2024 18:51

I finally have a little reassurance (for now). I went for follow up scan today after my first scan showed no heartbeat as fetal pole was too small, and I was over the moon to see bub with a heartbeat measuring only 4 days out of EDD based on LMP. I cried when she told me 🥹

@LauraJean1983 ah congrats that's fantastic news, such a relief ☺️🥰🥰

Had another dating scan today so 13 weeks , due the 1st of January, can't believe it 🤣 took myself out for lunch as Hubbie had to go back to work, I'm picking at my food and I know as soon as I go home I'll probably be starving in half an hour and dreaming about this lunch 😭🤮🤣

gardenlady1 · 27/06/2024 16:03

@TruthUnwinding ♥️ let us know how you get on xx

SunflowerDream · 27/06/2024 16:08

Hi all,

I had my 12 week dating scan today! I was incredibly nervous but everything seemed perfect with baby, and they were such a little wriggler. I thought I was 12+3 today but I am actually measuring as 13wks exactly today - meaning my EDD is now 2nd Jan.. so I can just about stay a part of this thread!! I still have anxieties and worries due to my previous loss but it is definitely all feeling a lot more real now.💖

That's amazing 👏 I've got my 12 week tomorrow and am so nervous due to previous loss as well! We did have a scan at around 8 weeks and all looked healthy so trying to tell myself it will be okay but I'm so scared. Hoping I can sleep tonight!
