@warmbutteredtoast oh wow, hope you're doing okay! Nice to have a reassurance scan in two weeks.

I am just SO TIRED! I felt like I was coping okay but I just want to go to bed at 8pm. 10 weeks now, so praying for a second trimester energy boost..

WanzieMrsA · 18/06/2024 10:47

Has anyone tried b6 for morning sickness?

I feel sick from the second I wake up and it lasts all day, it's worse at night. Doctor gave me cyclizine which I don't think actually works Hmm

bootsroots · 18/06/2024 11:38

@WanzieMrsA yes I'm on Xonvea which is a form of B6 for morning sickness. Cyclizine made me really tired and didn't do much to stop the vomiting. Xonvea helps, though I still feel nauseous I just don't throw up as much. I'm going to increase my dose soon and see if it helps. Pregnancy sickness is miserable!!

warmbutteredtoast · 18/06/2024 12:09

@WanzieMrsA I was also wondering if there's anything for nausea, I'm not actually being sick just feeing sick all day

Had my booking in appointment today, so definitely starting to feel real! Looking forward to the 12 week scan on the 2nd July too and not that long to wait.

I had an emergency C-section last time and the midwife is encouraging of a VBAC, so think I’m going to attempt it and speak with the consultant in a few weeks time! Has anyone had one before? Or those with DC thinking of doing the same?

I’m planning on VBAC too and my midwife is also very encouraging and sees no reason why not 🙂

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your twin, and the anxiety about the pregnancy. I'm sending so much positivity your way and hope things well be well at your next scan.

I had sad news today when there was no heartbeat after the follow up scan. We are completely devastated as this was a huge leap of faith for us trying for this baby due to many factors. I have surgery tomorrow which is terrifying for me due to past trauma. Wishing you all the best with your little babas and thanks for the support in this group.

So sorry for your loss. It’s especially hard when you’ve not long seen the heartbeat as you think you’re out of the woods but it’s not the case. I had a MC a week after seeing HB last year. Sending love x

Vik27 · 18/06/2024 18:54

Sorry for the tmi but I’m so constipated it’s uncomfortable and I have no clue if I can do anything to relieve it.

Firsttimetrier · 18/06/2024 20:08

@Vik27 you can have lactoluse I think when pregnant. Also upping your liquids, hot water, prunes etc will help!

Vik27 · 18/06/2024 20:19

@Firsttimetrier tried it except the lactulose. Might have to cave and get some. Thanks

Katie1989xx · 18/06/2024 21:09

@Vik27 me too! Finding that weetabix and bananas are helping to move things along a little! I'm really not a weetabix fan and I have to force it down but it's really helping.

BeLemonQuoter · 18/06/2024 21:09

@Firsttimetrier everybody's body is different, but I sprinkle a teaspoon of linseed on my breakfast porridge and on salad, soup, sites and make sure to drink enough water. It helped me

Sopshef · 18/06/2024 22:04

@Vik27 I had this for a day or two and have since been eating melon as often as I can stomach it ha, haven't had it again

babydust23 · 19/06/2024 10:45

How is everyone keeping? I'm 12 weeks today and dare I say it but the nausea seems to have improved a little today! It's been a long 5 weeks of all day nausea! Boobs are still slightly sore

babydust23 · 19/06/2024 11:08

I spoke too soon.. nausea is back

ohpoowhatnow · 19/06/2024 11:57

I'm about 10 weeks and my nausea has actually pretty much gone ! Nipples are still sore though. Has anyone has their blood results back yet and how long did it take ?

LauraJean1983 · 19/06/2024 14:39

I’m 8 weeks tomorrow and this last week has been TOUGH. I’m sick 2-3 times every morning, nauseous all day long and exhausted from lunchtime onwards. It’s a struggle but will be so worth is for my rainbow 🌈 x

TruthUnwinding · 19/06/2024 14:39

I am very late to the party here. I'm due 24 January 2025, so I'm just over 8 weeks pregnant currently.

I had my first pregnancy last year - which ended in a termination for medical reasons due to patau syndrome (as it turned out). I am trying really hard to be positive, and will be going for a NIPT test in the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!

TruthUnwinding · 19/06/2024 14:40

My nausea has significantly improved this week too (I'm also 8 weeks+5)

I'm so sorry to hear this. <3 I had a loss last year and I have plenty of resources to suggest if you need any (books, podcasts, yoga). They really helped me.

BeLemonQuoter · 13/06/2024 08:19

After the medium heavy bleeding on Sunday, I had my scan yesterday at 9+5 with the twins. Turns out one of the baby's heartbeats has stopped at 7w, (must have been soon after the viability scan), and the other one has healthy heartbeats, and their measurements is 8+6. The sonographer has seen the source of bleeding too.

I have been told I might carry on with the miscarriage of the lost baby, and that might not affect the healthy one or they might just stay there together. Anyway, it looks like there is more bleeding ahead of me (and I started spotting this morning again) and the nurse scheduled a scan in two weeks time.

I am a bit worried that the healthy baby measures almost a week behind (it's an ivf pregnancy, so we know the 9+5 is correct), but the sonographer tried to reassure me that anything within a week is normal and the progression that will count in two weeks

Regarding symptoms, to be a bit more on topic, I don't have much to be honest. I used to have the odd bit of nausea, for a few seconds, but it easily goes away on its own or after eating. I had sore boobs, but not that much anymore. The only thing that is still here is tiredness. Silly it is, but I do envy your symptoms

I feel tired of being hopeful, but I am trying to be

Edited

I'm so sorry to hear this, it sounds incredibly difficult. <3
I mentioned this in another thread but I had a loss last year and have lots of resources to suggest surrounding loss, which really helped me to heal. Happy to share when you are ready.

I hope the other baby continues to be healthy <3

TruthUnwinding · 19/06/2024 14:54

Anyone had any ridiculous emotional moments? I seem to cry at something silly every day, like full on sobs. Yesterday was the most ridiculous, I cried at 'Unwritten' by Natasha Bedingfield when I saw it randomly on instagram. XD

BeLemonQuoter · 19/06/2024 16:01

@TruthUnwinding not too often, but I had my moments. A few days ago I kicked our futon sofa bed with my ankle, and started sobbing. It didn't even hurt :D...

warmbutteredtoast · 19/06/2024 16:18

@TruthUnwinding So sorry to hear about your loss, that sounds incredibly difficult. I'm very emotional atm, and exhausted. I feel bad I'm not doing much with my toddler but I feel sick most of the time...

m8ybeb8by · 19/06/2024 19:05

Similar to you all! Nausea and symptoms have died down - some days I can do a 12 hours shift without batting an eyelid but others I'm yawning by 10am!

Blood tests came back clear!

Our gp releases them on nhs app so maybe check there! They came up within a day!

Dating scan has been set for 12th July 🙏🙏

Scared nervous and trying to manage and control the need to book a private scan as want to save it for later down in pregnancy

Sending everyone good vibes x

Harveybelle · 19/06/2024 19:19

This was my 7 week scan... just for fun, anyone into the Ramzi theory? Saw a couple of posts but it baffles me! My 12 week scan is a week today! Eeek.
