Hi All,

I'm terrified to join this group in case I've to leave.

I did ivf and got a positive on 8dpt equivalent of 13 dpo. In Friday I got my bloods done and they were 279. I was disappointed they were so low but since then I've gotten hardly any progression on easy at home tests. Any advice or input? Have another blood test tomorrow and want to prepare myself.

I've included them below

I’ve just requested to join the group 😊 I was on a group in my first pregnancy and it was amazing! Thank you ❤️ I’m due end of Jan, had some spotting but staying hopeful!

I'm getting severe gastric type pain in the stomach that only goes away if I eat yoghurt! It goes away for a bit if I eat something but flares up again. Bank holiday weekend so can't contact GP until tomorrow.

It could be the start of acide reflux? It would make sense it yogurt is the only thing that makes it better. Nerves can wreak havoc with you digestive system if you are very anxious mind you

Welcome in the group @roro87 .I think your lines were progressing nicely and these type of tests might not get any stronger. The only difference I have spotted is that they become visible much quicker. Good luck with your test tomorrow

roro87 · 27/05/2024 10:02

@BeLemonQuoter Yes they are coming up so much quicker. I got dark ones this morning but my pee was so so dark.

Because of my loss everything sets me off.

Welcome new joiners and congratulations 🥰

@roro87 your lines look to be progressing nicely but think there is a limit as to how dark they go and then you should stop. I did one a few days ago and think I will stop checking them now. I have a digital one I might do next week. And then I have a scan booked in for a few weeks time. So hard not to worry in the early weeks but we are all in the same boat.

belleissmart · 27/05/2024 12:28

Seven weeks and nausea has properly kicked in. I wish I'd worried less last week about my lack of symptoms! All in all, I do struggle with anxiety and am determined to not make this an unenjoyable nine months for me (I say... optimistically 😂).

I've found that following somatic relaxation videos seems to help a lot. Hope everyone is doing okay, these early days are so so tough.

anteklego · 27/05/2024 14:13

I threw up this morning for the first time and now I feel so gross

MsSandyToes · 27/05/2024 15:46

@anteklego oh no! How many weeks are you? I was lucky and didn't get it until 9 weeks last time but it lasted until about 22 weeks. It became a (disgusting) routine. Hopefully yours won't last too long. I found having ritz crackers the moment I sat up in the morning helped a tiny bit. Hopefully you'll find something to make it a bit more bareable too.

Hi everyone.
Didn't really know where to ask for advice but I thought one of you could help. I've had a little rash on my thigh the last few days but it's getting worse. It's not bites, not psoriasis or any laundry detergent reaction. It's getting worse as time goes on and it's so itchy.

I had a real food aversion to children with my DS. The look, taste and thought of cutting it to cook would send me over the edge. However, buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce? Could happily stomach that 😂

Hi ladies

Anyone else not have any symptoms yet? I only have sore boobs & no energy. I had an early scan last week as I had a miscarriage in January. The baby was a few days behind measurement wide, & I had a bleed under the sac. We did have a heartbeat

I just feel terrified that my lack of symptoms, measurements could indicate a miscarriage ahead again?

BeLemonQuoter · 27/05/2024 20:39

@ttcjourney20001 Check it out with a gp of course, but eczema flare up look similar. Soft cotton clothing, parfume etc free moisturizer and soap or even special cream soap for eczema help me when I have these

Lemonyfire · 27/05/2024 21:03

@ttcjourney20001 gosh they really look like hives from some sort of reaction but definitely speak to GP if this is not usual for you!

@Duffy23 I feel the same- I don't really feel pregnant and after a miscarriage in January I feel very on edge. I've got a scan on Wednesday morning I'll be 6.5 weeks. The only difference this time is I do actually feel really positive about it all so hoping that means something!

Duffy23 · 27/05/2024 21:12

@Lemonyfire the anxiety is so annoying. I was 9 weeks when I had my miscarriage &: am almost 8 now. Just hate the worry x

I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday feel free to message me if you need anything xx 😘

92Char · 27/05/2024 21:18

@ttcjourney20001
I also have developed a rash on my left hand. I'm just presuming it's pregnancy related but mine isn't itchy.
So many symptoms seem to develop in pregnancy but I'd say it's worth mentioning yours to your GP.

I have none! Just tiredness and sore boobs here too and 6w+2 !

Lemonyfire · 27/05/2024 21:48

Thank you so much.
Oh gosh so you're in a really tough week this week. ❤️

I was 8.5 but it was a strange one as although everything kept growing, they never saw a hb so there was growth from weeks 7-8 but not in the right way, for weeks everyone just kept saying my dates were wrong but when it got to the point I was still measuring around 6 weeks and I got my first positive test 5 weeks prior it just didn't add up.

Same same same!!! I'm 6 weeks and surprisingly feeling ok.

Apart from burping all the time, I'm ok and energy levels are ok.

Makes me anxious but trying to just have faith that the baby is doing what it needs to!

Obviously only a week on at 7 weeks but my symptoms kicked in with a vengeance this week, and I'm wistfully thinking of last week when I literally didn't have any. It's SO hard isn't it.

EnidH00pes · 28/05/2024 11:25

We had a scan at our fertility clinic this morning. It wasn't our official early pregnancy scan more of a monitoring one for OHSS.

Doctor could see egg and yolk sac but embryo itself wasn't visible yet. I know it's early at 5+6 but I think I was really hoping to see a heartbeat... official pregnancy confirmation scan booked for June 11th which will be 7+6 and feels a very long way off currently.

Would you book a private scan in the meantime?

Good news today is that sac is in the right place so at least it's not ectopic which was a concern with our history
