Hello, new here 🙂

I miscarried in September ‘24 @ 9w+5. I am now pregnant again and almost 9w. My symptoms this time around are so different which I’m taking as a positive sign.

Some examples:

  • Last time I tested positive 2 days after my period was due (showing 1-2 on a clear blue digital and having a faint line on a dye test). Whereas this time, I tested positive 6 days before my period was due (showing 1-2 weeks on a digital and a stronger line on a dye test. By my period due date I had a 2-3 week digital and an even stronger line in a dye test.
  • I had very few moments of nausea and no vomiting last time. This time I’ve had awful morning sickness from 5 weeks. I’ve just been diagnosed with mild HG which I’m being monitored for.
  • My sister pointed out to me that I’m starting to get a “hormone line” on my belly - I definitely didn’t have this last time.
  • TMI, but I’ve had a huge increase in discharge this time whereby this wasn’t really an issue last time.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? I suppose I’m sharing this as I’m approaching the gestation where I miscarried last time and my anxiety is increasing.

Thank you for reading 🌈

Hello,

I'm so sorry you have experienced a miscarriage - you must be so anxious now.

TBH I didn’t have the strongest first trimester symptoms in any of my pregnancies but it sounds as though the pregnancy hormone is stronger this time round and keeping everything crossed that is a positive sign.
