Started a new thread as the last one is full.
Got my apt letter today for my scan in Jan will be the 11th should be 12w 3D.

@Oatmilk - it is tough but what else cam we do. Have no other choixe but to suffer and keep going. I reflect very very often in the ease of my last pregnancy. Naps when I wanted. Sleep in when I wanted. Just really self centered 😂 now I am lucky to put my feet up for 10mins.

I just think loooooads of women have done, are doing it. And I need to suck it up.
My Nausea is easing up a little the last couple days. So hopefully it goes soon.

@pleasehelp5 yes my sickness got worse too when I hit 13 weeks. Used to just be constant evening nausea but turned into actual sickness and in the mornings too. I’m now 13+6 and have noticed less constant nausea in the evenings the past two days, but just more random dry heaving throughout the day so things are changing. Hopefully it eases soon! I can’t feel any flutters yet but it’s my first baby x

wannabe123 · 07/01/2024 07:48

@pleasehelp5 I'm nearby 14 weeks and thought I felt little movements last weekend. Since then I feel my bump has popped out more but I've not felt movements so baby must be hiding somewhere!

MrsHousePlant · 07/01/2024 08:40

Over 13 weeks now and my gag reflex is off the chart some of the time! I can just be walking along and have to stop as something will set me off. All good fun but hopefully all worth it!

wannabe123 · 07/01/2024 11:27

Has anybody else got round ligament pain?

I don't know whether it's because this is my second but I don't remember being as achy with my first!

ExpectantEs · 07/01/2024 12:20

@wannabe123 I had to Google what 'round ligament pain' was when you posted it & it's exactly what I've been feeling for the past two nights in bed.

I'm going to be 14w tomorrow & Google said it can start at any point in second trimester.

This plus the Sciatica I'm feeling so early on is making me think that it's my payback for having a symptomless pregnancy lol

Yes, this is my first and I've had round ligament pain since week 7, mine got pretty bad so the doctors gave me codeine x

pleasehelp5 · 07/01/2024 14:10

Thank you for your help ladies, glad I'm not going mad! X

Alwaystired2023 · 07/01/2024 18:15

Hi all just checking in sorry so many of you are feeling rough all sorts of pain going on in this thread! I'm still being sick can't wait for it to lift so I can be a functioning human again 🤣

wannabe123 · 07/01/2024 19:44

@pleasehelp5 ouch! Mine isn't that bad thankfully. My DH has been in bed ill all day and running around after a toddler and playing on the floor just isn't fun with the aches!

Oatmilktea · 07/01/2024 21:14

@Alwaystired2023 me too! Feeling so sick all the time. Feeling really down about it and can’t wait to feel like myself again. Hopefully we all feel better soon

hopingfor23 · 07/01/2024 22:06

Hope everyone's ok I am just coming out the other side of a throat and chest infection and my 11 month old has bronchiolitis 😩😩😩 plus my sickness has made a surprise return 🤦‍♀️ got my 12 week scan on Wednesday so hoping all is well and I start feeling human again soon!!! I go back to work next week from my mat leave so really would like some second trimester sparkle please....!!!!!

Jess725 · 08/01/2024 16:01

14 weeks today! I swear I felt a strange flutter (kick?!) earlier! Surely not!?!
😆

Busyhedgehog · 08/01/2024 16:11

Had a phonecall from my gynaecologist earlier about our NIPT and everything is looking good, apparently. (I was getting slightly worried since I'll see her on Thursday anyway but she just wanted to give me the good news.) We might even find out the sex this week...although I officially have to be 13 weeks and I'll only be 12+4 at the appointment. We'll see what she says.

ChildOfTheMoon · 08/01/2024 16:17

Did you ladies feel anything before 13 weeks?
I saw someone saying they can feel where baby is in tummy and they are week behind me. I'm now 13 weeks and literally can't feel anything in my tummy area. I don't even feel pregnant . Have my first scan tomorrow and kinda scared

Savvy21 · 08/01/2024 17:13

@ChildOfTheMoon I have no idea where the baby is and this is my 2nd. I'm 14 weeks and I've had some bubbly feelings but it could be gas. Hope your scan goes well tomorrow 😊

BananaHammock23 · 08/01/2024 19:02

@ChildOfTheMoon I think it's normal not to feel anything this early! Is it your first pregnancy? I didn't feel anything with DS until I was almost 20 weeks!

This one I've felt flutters with from 12 weeks, but it's my second pregnancy so I think my body just knows what it's looking for this time!

Alwaystired2023 · 08/01/2024 19:36

@Oatmilktea how are you feeling? I'm not coping with the sickness it's relentless just keep repeating 'it will pass it will pass' as I'm sick Apple and everything else I eat 🤣

Oatmilktea · 08/01/2024 20:35

Thanks for checking in @Alwaystired2023 still feeling nauseous and exhausted all the time! I’ve been signed off work for two weeks, I’m so relieved as the only thing that gives me any relief from the nausea is naps naps and more naps!

How are you feeling? How many weeks are you? I’m 12 weeks today so I’m hoping it will pass by the time I’m due back to work!

Alwaystired2023 · 08/01/2024 20:42

@Oatmilktea oh that's good you have been signed off not that you are feeling so dire :/ rest up! I'm 13 weeks but I don't think the sickness passed until week 18/19 with my first, I'm just trying to convince myself it's mind over matter and I don't feel that bad 🤣

Morningcoffeeaddict · 08/01/2024 21:16

@ChildOfTheMoon definitely don’t worry - I remember my 12 week scan with my son he was flipping all over the place and I couldn’t feel any of it!
Even by 28 weeks when he was properly kicking and I could feel/see it I couldn’t always have told you where he was but he was fine!

chilliflakesmum · 09/01/2024 13:50

Hello! Does anyone have a link to the Facebook group please? Finally feel ready to join it!

I had my cvs procedure done last Friday and pleased to say I had the results yesterday and all is fine. I was high risk for one of the syndromes after my 12 week scan. Its been a tough two weeks but now we can relax a little bit and start getting excited ☺️

Morningcoffeeaddict · 09/01/2024 17:01

@chilliflakesmum - I don’t have the Facebook link I’m afraid but just wanted to celebrate your great news - fantastic the results are back and all positive!!

Had a bonus peek at baby today - was in for a renal ultrasound and the sonographer kindly let me see baby while she was doing it! So lovely to see the heart beating and baby moving about in there - excited for my proper scan next week now!

chilliflakesmum · 09/01/2024 19:21

Thank you ☺️ and thanks for the link too @TooHappyToday and @Julymumtobe

15 weeks on Thursday and I'm back to eating colourful food and not living in beige city! Feels good to be out of the 1st trimester, although some tiny nausea does creep back in some days...

Oh i'm sure it was lovely to see your little bean @Morningcoffeeaddict ☺️ is your 12 week scan next week?
