Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

@Shiny88 I don't think I've had exactly what you describe but I've all sorts of random pains. It's so worrying and easy to second guess yourself isn't it.
How are you feeling now? I don't know- so don't take this as medical advice- but I imagine that an ectopic would escalate pain wise rather than just disappear like that?
Hope you've relaxed a bit. Xx

Catson · 26/10/2023 18:53

@Stephy1024 I don't think it's possible to be weeks behind so I wouldn't worry about that

KMM87 · 26/10/2023 20:08

@Stephy1024 I have booked a private scan on Halloween too 😄 excited to see our teeny tiny pumpkins

Mumormummy · 27/10/2023 09:09

Hi everyone,
congratulations to you all!!
I got my BFP on Wednesday, I am roughly 4w6d today. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I have a 9yo daughter and I’m 34!

Feeling quite anxious as I have endometriosis and with my last pregnancy I had hyperemesis. I’ve already booked my 1st midwife appointment so hoping she can help reassure me when I see her.

anyone else on here a endo sufferer?

Im new to this so please bare with till I get the hang of it x

KMM87 · 27/10/2023 09:41

To the person who recommended the pregnancy probiotics on here thank you!!
My bloating has almost disappeared already!

HayleyD93 · 27/10/2023 10:47

Tentatively joining, got my very faint positive just over 3 weeks ago following a traumatic MMC in April/May. I think I'm 7 weeks. I have an ultrasound booked for just under 3 weeks time as follow up from MMC so hoping that will offer reassurance. Got 2-3 weeks on clearblue digital this morning but wasn't 1st morning but I'll hold out another week to test again. Getting dark lines on easy@home and cheapy sticks. GP knows but no referral made to midwife yet that I know about, wanting to hold off until after the scan if I can.
Sore nipples, nausea, lightheaded and nose bleed so far so taking this as positive signs as didn't have all of these last time.

KMM87 · 27/10/2023 11:28

@Mumormummy Hello and congrats! I'm also 34 and my son will be 9 when baby is born 🙂
I don't have any experience with endo I'm afraid.
When is your first midwife appointment? X

Mumormummy · 27/10/2023 11:56

Thank you!
My appt is 6th Nov, I was quite impressed I’ve managed to get in so quickly. I’ve not bothered seeing my GP first just booked straight with the midwife.
how are you finding it with having the bigger gap? X

DanisEndo · 27/10/2023 14:41

@Mumormummy fellow endo sufferer here!! Congrats on your BFP ♥️ I have my midwife appointment on 18th November and self referred as well. So tempted by getting a private scan - 11th December just seems so long away and I so want to tell people!

has anyone here told anyone?

Mumormummy · 27/10/2023 16:05

Congratulations to you too!!

I’m hoping I can get an early scan, I’m getting some mild pains but I’m putting that down to the stretching and the endo.

I have told close family and a couple of friends, mainly as I feel I will need to support in place. x

Dani46 · 27/10/2023 16:20

@HayleyD93 I hope this pregnancy goes well for you. I had a mmc in July, and I’m not going to lie I’m petrified of it happening again.
Ive had 2 scans so far, and all has been well. So im hoping there all good signs. I’ve barely got any symptoms now though. I was getting dizzy spells which I think have eased now, my boobs arent tender anymore but I’ve had slightly sore nipples these last few days. Tiredness and bloated too. I’m 7 weeks today and have a scan at epu on Wednesday so I’m keeping everything crossed x

mumsince2021 · 27/10/2023 16:28

Hi @HayleyD93 sorry to hear about your previous loss. I hope you don't mind me asking how your cheap strip tests lines are looking? I'm asking because I've had a 2-3 on a digital but haven't reached the 3+ so would be good to compare as cheap strip tests are all I have used lately. I've had chemical losses before so I'm so anxious. I've also had a bit of a light bleed and spotting with has since stopped. I had the same type of bleed with my last successful pregnancy so holding out hope it's just the same again although I'd have expected the 3+ by now and more line progression.

HayleyD93 · 27/10/2023 17:10

@mumsince2021 hopefully pictures have attached, the photo with digital is from this morning but had a restless night after a night flight the night before so was up, eating, drinking and weeing through the night and my wee was quite light yellow so may not be a true representation. The photo of 2 tests is a few days to a week apart and the one on the box are all pretty much the same evening the day I found out.
Unfortunately I didn't record the dates I took each test so can't say what the exact progression is.
After the weekend I'm hoping to be back into a more normal routine and will again with FMU.
I have more tests from the last 2 weeks but don't have photos and my luggage is currently missing but they are in there.

I'm feeling better today. Just a backache.
I think I just had intense trapped wind. Haven't experienced that before 😂.

How are you feeling? How far gone are you? Xx

So glad this has helped! What brand have you started using? Xx

oop · 27/10/2023 20:24

I had a good scan today, saw baby's heartbeat and it's measuring a day ahead. I'm so relieved, my anxiety was through the roof. Could almost hear my heartbeat while we were waiting 🙈

Shiny88 · 27/10/2023 21:00

@oop I'm so pleased for you! Nothing more reassuring than hearing the babies heart beat 💜.

Bubblesandtroubles · 27/10/2023 21:24

@oop lovely news 🥰 I was petrified before every scan with my first. xx

KMM87 · 27/10/2023 22:47

@Shiny88 was it you that mentioned them? Thank you!! 🙏🏻 I got the optibac ones off Amazon (mainly because I'm impatient and they were available for next day delivery on prime)!

El1988 · 27/10/2023 22:51

Hi all, I hope it’s ok if I tentatively pop on here?

l’m due 30 June 2024, so I just make the cut off! 😅

Got my BFP 5 days ago and am doing the classic line progression watch… my husband thinks I’m slightly mad. 🙈

I think he’s not ready to believe it’s real just yet after our miscarriage earlier this year…

we are away for the next two weeks and then when we get back I’ve got us booked in for a scan, which will hopefully show us a heart beat! 🤞🤞🤞

just feeling really exhausted all the time now, and my boobs feel sore, and I nearly threw up the other night but apart from that I haven’t felt nauseous really… hope everyone is doing ok today and so far!

nice to see you @VixFromThe6ix, @catson and @happytobemrsg 🩵

VixFromThe6ix · 27/10/2023 23:05

@El1988 have restful two weeks!! Let us know how your scan goes!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I had mine this week and we saw a heartbeat which was some weight off my shoulders. I have another one coming up in two weeks to see if everything is ok.

El1988 · 27/10/2023 23:07

@VixFromThe6ix congrats on the heartbeat! 🤞🤞🤞 that everything looks great in your second scan, I’m sure it will!

i will try to have a restful two weeks, thank you! ❤️ Just trying not to be terrified that I’ll lose this one as well…

Jess725 · 27/10/2023 23:11

Hiya, is it ok if I join. Congratulations on all the positives and for those experiencing anxiety, we’ve all got you!
Got my positive this morning so I think I will be due early July, reckon I can sneak in ?! 😊😬

I’m freaking out after two miscarriages this year. Feeling like I’m to expect the same which is very morbid I know..

Just wanted to see if anyone has had the private viability scan to see if it was worth it?

hope everyone is feeling ok, I’m rather nauseous which I haven’t experienced before so hopefully it’s a good thing

x

VixFromThe6ix · 27/10/2023 23:13

@El1988 let's stay positive!!!! I was where you were too just last week. And you know... While there is a heartbeat, we actually had twins and lost one. So there is still loss. As bittersweet as this ultrasound was, we just have to stay positive. That's why they scheduled another scan so early for me because they want to see if this surviving one is progressing. I'm still nervous but thinking he or she is a fighter already so they are going to continue to fight.
Sending you all my positive thoughts and can't wait for your update. 💞

oop · 28/10/2023 07:00

Thanks @Shiny88 and @Bubblesandtroubles ❤️
Good luck to everyone else having scans in the next few days 🤞🤞
