Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

@Anrose I think someone has already set one up. I'm not joining yet and I don't have the link, but I'm sure someone else will message you it

Dani46 · 21/10/2023 15:26

@anrose there is a Facebook group, and also a WhatsApp group that someone has created on there too ☺️

LilyCat43 · 21/10/2023 15:34

Is there a link?

Catson · 21/10/2023 15:36

@LilyCat43 there probably will be. I have no idea who made it and I know it's been send privately but I haven't received it. If you look back through the thread you'll maybe find who made it to message and ask them

Hi everyone can I jump over from TTC?

I got my faint BFP on the day my period was due after a BFN on one of the CB early detectors that I took 4 days before AF due date. I'm going to keep testing every couple of days this week as the line is still a bit faint.

Calculations show I'm at 4 weeks 2 days, I'm a first timer and feeling excited and nervous! Due date would be end of June around the 27th I think

Catson · 21/10/2023 17:53

Congratulations @CamdenQueen. Try not to worry about the lines too much, positive is positive. Depending when implantation happened, what your starting hcg level was and whether yours tends to double over 48 or 72 hours will all impact on the 'line'

VixFromThe6ix · 21/10/2023 18:20

Hi everyone,
Cautiously joining. I'm 6 weeks and due date calculator predicts June 11 as a due date.
I have my first scan on Tuesday so crossing my fingers all goes well and we hear the heartbeat 💓

Sd183 · 21/10/2023 18:49

Hey everyone. After my big bleed last week I thought I was out but my line progression has continued and all bleeding seemed to stop that evening. I’m officially 5 weeks today and just desperate to get to my scan next Tuesday!

A question for people who've had bleeding whilst pregnant before - has anyone had bleeding whilst pregnant and things ended up ok? Or if things didn't go ok, how long before you knew you'd miscarried?

I had some spotting last week and was referred to EPU for a scan. Saw a little heartbeat in a womb and they said don't worry unless there's severe bleeding or pain.

Today I'm having the same amount of bleeding as a normal period. Called the GP and they said it could be something or nothing, it's good there's no pain or clots. Take it easy and see what happens.

Feels hard waiting for something bad to happen or for things to settle down and be fine... While I wait, I'm wondering what other people's experiences of bleeding has been?

mumsince2021 · 21/10/2023 19:36

@CharlySwarles with my last pregnancy when I was around 6 or 7 weeks I had a bit of sudden cramping and blood (not huge but definitely more than spotting) and happened again a day or so later. I thought the worst as I've had chemicals before but continued testing positive and the cramping and blood stopped. Waited it out until my 12 week scan and all was well there. I've been told this can happen can be the cervix or hormones that causes it. With my chemicals at around 5-6 weeks, I had spotting for a day then the next day cramping and bleeding kicked in just like my period so the difference for me was it didn't ramp up the next day although the bleed did happen again that same week. I hope all is well for you. I've been there and it's so worrying. 🤞

mumsince2021 · 21/10/2023 19:42

@CharlySwarles meant to say in the cases where it was early losses for me the tests were showing weaker results in the days before the bleeding kicked in. I was actually already expecting things weren't going to go well because of that.

CamdenQueen · 21/10/2023 20:08

@Catson thanks so much. Trying to be very “casual” about it all while obsessively googling every last thing about pregnancy 🤣
I’ve bought a CB week predictor test and will hold off until at least Tuesday next week to take it. How far along are you?

LilyCat43 · 21/10/2023 20:51

Buzzing!! I never got this last time 😍🤩

Due June 24?
Beeeceee · 22/10/2023 05:15

😅 don’t mind me, I'm just not explaining myself properly.
when I say my app I just mean there’s a specific date three weeks ago when I was ovulating and had unprotected sex. So I was thinking perhaps that was THE day and would be consistent with what the CBD reading.
I’m new to this so don’t mind me haha

@Dani46 I’m sorry to hear about your loss. It’s good that you’re doing the things that help you feel at ease and in turn that’s what will help baby x

Sorry, that one has expired. Heres a new one:

This is probably a stupid question but will anyone on my Facebook know if I join this group? Will it pop up on their feed?

I assume not otherwise it’d be pointless creating this group but I just want to double check! X

Goldie1234 · 22/10/2023 09:50

Good luck all at the scan @Sd183 !! Fingers crossed for you ! Hope you're managing to keep busy !

Goldie1234 · 22/10/2023 09:52

@glasshalffull0 I'm around 5 weeks now. That's great you're getting line progression ! I stopped testing because I was getting obsessed lol

Tefiti3 · 22/10/2023 09:58

@glasshalffull0 no dont worry, its a private and hidden group so no one can see who has joined or who is a member!

oop · 22/10/2023 10:00

Hey all, welcome to the newcomers!
I'm now 7+4 and still seem to be ok (at least not bleeding yet). I have my first scan on Friday at just over 8 weeks which I'm really nervous for. Might start to believe this is real though if it goes well!
My nausea and food aversions are so much worse with this pregnancy than with my son. Just feel rubbish most of the day, although thankfully not being sick.

Boredinthehouse12 · 22/10/2023 12:57

Welcome to the newcomers! Wishing you all a happy, healthy pregnancy. I’m 6+4 now and my constant nausea has turned down a few notches which is great, but can’t help thinking something might be going wrong. I have a scan booked in for Wednesday so I’ll just have to see how that goes.

Senso21 · 22/10/2023 14:02

Hi!
is anyone else really struggling with feeling rotten?
im 7+4 and since 4 weeks have been feeling rubbish. No actual sickness, but so much nausea and constantly so so wiped out and tired. Only way I can explain it is I feel hungover, pretty much all day every day. I’ve had a few odd days where I’ve felt totally normal and then wake up again the next day feeling rubbish.
Really struggling to muster up the energy to even do the basics, feeling pretty useless as a mum and wife most days and all I really ever want to do is sit in a quiet room on my own 😩
this is my 3rd, I know it does eventually pass but it’s feeling worse than I remember and endless right now!

Bealilet · 22/10/2023 14:51

@CharlySwarles sorry to hear what you’re experiencing. Personally I’ve had 6 miscarriages so I’d ask for a prescription for progesterone pessaries from your GP/EPU and quote the Tommys PRISM trial. Since your bleeding is ongoing I’d strongly encourage this.

Joining the due June 2024 thread. 8th pregnancy, one dear daughter living whom is 18months! On a concoction of blood thinners and progesterone counting away the days for our early scan!

Congrats all!

Bealilet · 22/10/2023 15:07

@Senso21 sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish. I find eating little and often helps… plain dry things! If I let myself get hungry then the nausea increases…

best of luck 😊
