Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

Hey anyone else feeling heavy legs and uterus and achy body. Also lots of congestion 😭 baby number 4.

Bubblesandtroubles · 20/10/2023 16:01

@Dani46 fabulous news 💞 xx

Bubblesandtroubles · 20/10/2023 16:07

@Anrose I'm definitely feeling rough today. Starting to feel sick. But also hungry. But no food actually appeals. 😩
I'm determined not to fall into the trap of stuffing my face with the wrong stuff this time. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

My uterus almost tickles if that makes sense?

And the vivid dreams have also kicked in! Xx

Dani46 · 20/10/2023 17:06

@Stephy1024 @mumsince2021 she just said I was around 6 weeks 😂
I’m 6 weeks today… but I did tell them a little white lie last week. I told them I would be 6 weeks the Wednesday just gone, but only because they mentioned I would have to have blood tests from 6 weeks then to go in and have a scan. I was just too worried x

Dani46 · 20/10/2023 17:07

@Bubblesandtroubles how far along are you? I’m waiting for symptoms to properly kick in

Goldie1234 · 20/10/2023 17:25

Nice scan @Dani46 ! Must feel v reassuring !

I went for one yesterday as mentioned to the midwives I was having some stabby pains and they booked me in. I me and the doc thought it would be too soon to see anything, but there was a tiny little sac, on track for being 4- 5 weeks. She booked me in for another reassurance scan at 7 weeks 🤞🏽

How is everyone feeling ? I'm still getting stabby pains and sooooooo tiiireedddd. Thank goodness it's half term (as a teacher lol) !
No heavy legs though.

Goldie1234 · 20/10/2023 17:25

And congrats everyone on the positives !!

Cocoben · 20/10/2023 18:47

Hello, hoping to join too, Flo is predicting due date of 24th June so 4 weeks 5 days todays

Have experienced a missed miscarriage at 7/8 weeks and have since had a little girl who is 2.5 years old.

Feeling incredibly anxious, reassuring that others have been feeling the same way x

glasshalffull0 · 20/10/2023 18:58

Can I join please? Flo puts me at 4 weeks and due end of June but I think I'm actually 3 weeks 3 days as I had a late Lh peak which would put me in early July but I'll stay here for now!

Tested this morning at 9 DPO- I can't put my finger on it but I just felt like something was "off" in my body, I had cramps but I didn't feel like I would come on my period, very vivid dreams last night and hip and back pain all day yesterday, and I've been sneezing like mad!

Although now I wish I didn't test so early as it's driving me mad thinking something could go wrong as its still so early!

UK2NO23 · 20/10/2023 19:09

Hey all! 👋

I hope it's okay if I join here. I am a first timer and currently 4+4 (according to 1st day of cycle) after thinking it wouldn't ever happen. I am tentatively excited but can't help thinking of all the things that could go wrong. I have an appointment on Monday (5+0) to meet the midwife and just discuss things and fill out paperwork, I thought this was a little early but apparently this is a usual timescale for my area.

I took two tests on 18th and another on 19th all positive but don't have any other tests left to check in and I'm constantly dreading going to the bathroom just incase of it being a CP.

I've had bloating, slight cramps and heartburn with nausea here and there. I'm hoping this is a good sign.

We also were not actively trying yet so I have not been taking any supplements and due to weather and long delivery times in my area I won't be able to get hold of folic acid until Tuesday at the earliest.

I guess I'm feeling like I'm making mistakes with this already 🙃

Goldie1234 · 20/10/2023 22:28

Congrats girls !

Ahh @glasshalffull0 I tested really early too and it drove me crazy ! Was doing tests constantly, but even that didn't seem to help the anxiety !!

glasshalffull0 · 21/10/2023 08:04

@Goldie1234 how many weeks are you now? I took my second round of tests today and there was definite line progression but I'm still only 3 weeks and 4 days!

Bubblesandtroubles · 21/10/2023 09:10

@Dani46 not even 5 weeks yet- so plenty of time for it to get much worse I know! Xx

Catson · 21/10/2023 09:17

Hello all, please can I tentatively join. I've got a BFP and I'll be around 3weeks 5 or 6 days so due the very end of June. My cycles aren't 28 days and I got my positive the day after my period was due. I already have a nearly 2.5 year old so this will be number 2.

I did have a chemical pregnancy before conceiving last time so I'll feel more confident once I've got past this first part.

Congratulations to everyone else!

Dani46 · 21/10/2023 09:33

Congrats to everyone that’s joined 🥰

Dani46 · 21/10/2023 09:34

I’m such a worrier. My symptoms are just coming and going and it’s driving me mad! Even though I had a good scan yesterday too 😅
can’t wait to reach the milestone from last time to just try and breathe and get my head around this I a new pregnancy

Beeeceee · 21/10/2023 09:48

Hello everyone
Had my first positive test literally 3 days ago.
CBD puts me at about 2-3 weeks, looking at my Flo app I reckon I’m exactly 3 weeks pregnant today!
Due date is June 24th!
It feels ridiculously early for me to be this excited but equally anxious. It’s my first pregnancy so I’m just trying to take it in stride.
I’ve contemplated going private for an early scan, can anyone advise me on how I’d go about doing this?

I’m also thinking to just wait until my standard scan through the NHS and just hope for the best. So many decisions !
I don’t have any major symptoms besides sore boobs and a dramatically increased appetite 😅.
feels nice to be able to share all this with others

Dani46 · 21/10/2023 11:11

@Beeeceee congratulations 🥰
If you are thinking about having a private scan done I would wait till your 7/8 weeks. You will get a better look then too if it’s an abdominal scan but that’s completely up to you. If you are though have a look at scan places near you and also the reviews x

Beeeceee · 21/10/2023 11:39

Thanks @Dani46 I was thinking to wait until maybe 8 weeks
I’m guessing a quick google search will point me in the right direction.
I probably should have done that first haha

Dani46 · 21/10/2023 11:52

@Beeeceee oh I’m the same 😂 I don’t think sometimes to have a search lol.
8 weeks would be so good too, you will see more too.
I have another booked in for 7 weeks and then pregnancy unit at 8 weeks but that’s just to help me right now. I’m a worrier and after my last loss it has made me even worse in pregnancy

mumsince2021 · 21/10/2023 11:56

@Beeeceee if your CB digital read 2-3 weeks then you're classed as 4-5 weeks pregnant so not sure why your app is saying 3 weeks 😅

LilyCat43 · 21/10/2023 12:10

Hello! Been lurking for a few days but can I join? Got a squinter Sunday and bfp digi on Monday. LMP suggests 4+2 today. Not sure if I'm having actual symptoms or if it's all in my head. This will be DC#2 I have a DD6 and have had history of several chemicals/mc since... so super anxious and paranoid at this stage.

Attached progression lines in the interests of sharing 😝

Due June 24?
Due June 24?
mumsince2021 · 21/10/2023 13:27

@LilyCat43 welcome and thanks for sharing those. My cheap test strips are showing a good line but no obvious progression over the last 5 days so good to see yours to compare

Catson · 21/10/2023 14:16

Not sure how far I you are @mumsince2021 but they will reach a point they don't progress. Any depending on brand etc they may not show as good line progression as other brands

Anrose · 21/10/2023 14:37

Would a FB group be a good idea for us all maybe?
