Due May 2024?

I'm currently 11dpo. Had a two faint positives yesterday followed by a positive clear blue this morning. This will hopefully be my second pregnancy due around 14th May by dates. Just wondered if anybody wanted to share the journey, symptoms and advice 🥰

@Meggan123 I've mostly stopped. Did do a clear blue the other day because I wanted to see that lovely 3+ :)

@Judethepud it’s just reassuring isn’t it! Must be great to see 3+, I actually live abroad and they don’t sell those tests here. Wish they did!

Hi, I'm new to the thread. I found out today I'm pregnant. 5+1 according so Flo. Baby due 2 days after I was supposed to get married!!
We've had some fertility issues, so it's a lovely surprise.

I am 5+2 so would be similar dates.

What are you going to do about the wedding 😬 what a good problems to have though!

@UnderstatedElegance Hey, I'm the same but baby due couple of weeks after wedding 😂. We have enquired about moving our wedding so waiting for the 12 week scan to then confirm!

How funny, same here as well! Baby due 1 week before we wanted to get married 😂 luckily we are last-minute people and only have a small wedding so nothing was booked yet, just pencilled.

Word of warning for any obsessive testers, got a dye stealer this morning and tonight did another test before bed (don’t ask me why - I know its dumb) but it was no longer a dye stealer, it was fainter then this mornings test, so I had a freak out, did some googling and turns out when hcg gets too strong it can overwhelm the test, something called ‘the hook effect’, So to test the theory I diluted the urine down with some water and redipped and got a dye steeler again - panic over. Think its time to stop testing …. Top test is full urine bottom is diluted with water….

Ahh, how funny our babies are all due in the same month as our weddings!
No idea what I'll do. We are currently on holiday. Heading home in a few days so I'll have to get my practical head on then.
Everything is booked and paid for and we'd were planning on getting married on the other side of the world 🤦‍♀️
It's a lovely curve ball that life has thrown at us. I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

Stopping testing was the reasonable thing to do, and now we've also got a scientific explanation for it.

Now we just have to wait...
It's so much harder to do nothing.

I took my first pregnancy test a week ago today and it said 2-3 on it which made sense since I think I ovulated on august 31st. Took another today as my app is saying 5 +1 and it still says 2-3 weeks. Feel a little concerned that it hasn’t gone to 3+ tbh. Also have had bad period cramps the past two days- just makes me feel worried and really hoping all is okay!

Some people don’t get a 3+ at all I’ve heard and others haven’t till 6 Weeks onwards.

i know easier said than done but try not to worry x

@LondonGirl1992 I took one on 5 weeks 1 day and it was 2 - 3 too, took another at 5w4 and it was 3+

Hey everyone, hope it’s ok to join, I’m 6+3 and think I should be due around 14 May. 😊

Don’t know about anyone else but since 6 weeks the nausea, fatigue and bloating has well and truly settled in 😵‍💫 I feel like this week has been a blur! Zombie mode activated 🧟‍♀️

Have got an early scan booked in for next Sunday and literally wish I could fast forward time to get there to check that all is ok!

How early on can you have reassurance scans and how much do they cost?

@LondonGirl1992 Seven weeks is normally best for guaranteeing you'll see a heart beat. Private scans cost around £90 where I live.

@LondonGirl1992 I’ve been driving myself mad with these tests.

I am 5 weeks today last period was 18/8 and I think I ovulated around the 2/9 from ovulation tests and ovulation pain.

I brought more tests today and saved my FMU and did the test it said 1-2 I was literally crying and shaking.

I needed the toilet again and I decided to use the other just to check and it’s 2-3 I haven’t drunk much but then I thought the FMU was meant to be stronger.

Honestly these are causing me so much anxiety I need to stop.

@LBNM19 My SMU was always better than my FMU. No idea why.

@LondonGirl1992 i think some companies offer them from 6 weeks but have heard it’s best to wait until 7+, at this point a heartbeat should definitely be able to be found.

Girls with the tests. I remember reading I think it was on the instructions that the tests count from ovulation/conception time.

Where these tracking apps and the Dr's count the first day of your last period as the start of pregnancy. This could be the confusion of the tests saying 1-2 when you ate expecting 3+

For example

first day of period = 1st august
conception / ovululation = 15th august

By 28th August Dr's and apps would say 4 weeks pregnant but the tests would say 1-2

I am no expert in this at all, all very new to me, just I remember reading this and hope it puts your minds at rest xx

Also doesn't it feel like forever waiting. I registered online for midwife and I have to wait 7-10 days to hear from them for booking in appointment. Seems like such a long wait till the appointment and then the 12 week scan! X
