@EBeans @Piapea @Udford 4th November for me too 😊 My main aim is to have a healthy baby… my secondary aim is to avoid Halloween haha

Journey2022 · 21/03/2023 20:51

@Leiapup me too! It's also my birthday first week of December so it would be a birthday and Christmas present in one to have baby come then! But I really don't want to get my hopes up just yet I guess!

@anna2101 amazing soo happy for u xx

HayleyD93 · 21/03/2023 21:52

@LittleMissSunshine2020
I told my mum and dad really early in December as I was staying with them over Xmas and my mum would have been suspicious when I turned up with no alcohol. This time I've told my best friend this morning as i needed someone to complain about heart burn to. I will be holding off telling family for as long as I can to know its all OK. I'm booked to go on holiday when I'm 10 weeks so may need to tell them before I go.
I'm not sure if I'm going to do the whole post it on Facebook etc

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 22/03/2023 01:20

@38andtrying congratulations on your scan! That gives me so much Hope as i had a mmc at 8 weeks in nov similar to you

Houseonthehills · 22/03/2023 06:41

Hi ladies, I’m 5.2weeks and feeling fine. I was so sick on previous two pregnancies and worried now why I’m not on this one. I know I should count my lucky stars. I just presumed that I’d be that sick on all pregnancies

TTCJJB · 22/03/2023 06:43

Hi @Journey2022 I'm the exact same dates as you with the exact same symptoms. I have been worried about the lack of nausea but guess there's still time yet.

Maxime34 · 22/03/2023 06:43

@LittleMissSunshine2020 we've barely told anyone yet but thinking Easter would be a nice time to tell family too as I'll be nearly 9 weeks by end and will have had a scan that week. Fingers crossed!

vix_85 · 22/03/2023 06:53

First HCG serum result is 223 iu/L. This was at 4+3. Anyone got experience of these tests to know if thats good? I am just praying it goes up on the second test tomorrow 🙏

I'm going for my second Lot of bloods this morning. Try not to get too hooked on the actual number as the nurses at the EPU told me it means nothing. They're looking for the doubling trend in 48 hours. 48 hours feels like a life time waiting🤣. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

vix_85 · 22/03/2023 07:26

Thank you @jennybb ! That's reqlly good to know as my head is going crazy. Best of luck for your second result!

NatGee · 22/03/2023 07:54

@MooseWL thank you, ill wait for my booking appointment then :)

@38andtrying congratulations on your scan, what a relief it must be for you. Now onto the 12 week scan so you can see your little bub again

TMI2000 · 22/03/2023 08:17

@vix_85 I think that's pretty good from what I've read up,
My first set last week was 308 and I was roughly 5+0 but like Jenny said don't get too caught up on it, what matters is that they double. I have a repeat tomorrow as my GP left mine for a week, agonising!!

NatGee · 22/03/2023 08:24

@HayleyD93 did you tell your parents this time too or just your friend? Only my older sister knows, who I regard as a mum since my parents have now passed away.
My DH's family are coming to stay with us this weekend and we will be telling his parents for the same reasons as you; they definitely know me as someone who won't spend long without a glass of wine in hand. I will be 7 weeks at that point

Journey2022 · 22/03/2023 08:40

@vix_85 @jennybb

I'm also going for my second set of bloods today (lunchtime) my first ones on Monday at 4+1 were 251 I then googled hcg test high etc and got myself so anxious. So don't read into it too much!! As long as your doubling ish every 48 hours that's what they want! EPU will also do a scan for you if you ask them and say your anxious - well mine has offered but I wad really anxious and emotional on Monday! They just want me to be further along/higher hcg first.

Good luck with your second hcgs both of you! Il post my results this evening I usually get them back around 4/5pm.

Hi @Journey2022 I'm the exact same dates as you with the exact same symptoms. I have been worried about the lack of nausea but guess there's still time yet.

@TTCJJB not everyone gets bad nausea - we can only hope we are them people 😆🤞🏼 I know what you mean though you kind of want all symptoms to know everything's progressing. If it helps I spoke to a nurse from my gynaecology team yesterday (a follow up on an appointment from 2 weeks ago) I told her I was pregnant and found out this weekend/am very early, she asked if if my boobs ached and seemed to think that was normal for this early, I also said I'd had some cramping and basically just felt like I'm due a period. She said yes that's fine and all okay. She disnt ask about nausea.

She was very excited for me which was lovely (I've been with that team for over a year) yet I still can't get too excited 🙈

NatGee · 22/03/2023 08:54

@TTCJJB when it hits, youll wish you didn't have it. and when it eases up, youll think what's wrong. Can't win.

TMI2000 · 22/03/2023 08:56

@NatGee I'm like that right now, had the most awful nausea yesterday, bent over a toilet dry retching and today nothing. I just know i'm gonna spend my whole day stressing! My boobs aren't particularly sore either just a bit tender. Roll on tomorrow 😂

NatGee · 22/03/2023 09:24

@TMI2000 is there no lingering nausea, just hovering right there in the pit of your stomach ? That's how i feel most of the time, as if its ready to pounce. Saturday for me was the worst day so far. my boobs arent painful either, but they get very sore at night. must be from laying on them somehow. theyve also not grown much which im a bit miffed about ha

TMI2000 · 22/03/2023 09:30

@NatGee well i've gagged at a few things today so it could be, I just worry i'm forcing symptoms sometimes because i'm so nervous! I usually get the nauseous feeling at the back of my throat but not having it much today- I hear they grow loads once you give birth! 😆

Good luck!! I'll post mine when I get mine too, fingers crossed for us all. My EPU have given me a scan on Monday, they said my HCG level needs to be above 1500 to be able to see anything

MeganC104 · 22/03/2023 09:49

Hi, worried I couldn't find this thread. I'm 8 weeks 1 day. Had my booking app Monday but have a consultant app next week and I don't know why.

Also, anyone else getting nose bleeds? I never get nose bleeds and I've had 2 this pregnancy so far.

TMI2000 · 22/03/2023 09:49

Everyone's EPU sounds amazing! Just thought i'd give mine a call and when I get my second set of bloods tomorrow they are gonna have a look at the results, the rise level and possibly book me in for an early scan. Fingers are so tightly crossed! 🙏

HayleyD93 · 22/03/2023 10:04

@NatGee no haven't told they yet, luckily they are on holiday for 2 weeks so by the time they are back I will be nearer to 6 weeks but I'd like to hold off as long as possible to know everything is OK. I seen how excited my dad was last time and wouldn't want to put him through that excitement again.
I'm going to hold off until 6 or 7 weeks to ring the drs to get a referral too I think as I'm still so nervous of it not happening.

From Thursday night until Saturday morning I was taking 30/500 cocodamol and ibuprofen every 4 hours after an accident at work. Since then I've only taken paracetamol but so worried that I've taken both tablets that they tell you not to take.

I took a first response rapid response test this morning as says you can take that from 1st day of missed period and I can't believe how strong the lines are. I think I'll be doing the cheapy tests everyday to see if the line changes.

@LittleMissSunshine2020
I’m seeing my family over Easter when I’ll be 9-10 weeks and I’m thinking of telling them then but I’m not sure yet as I would like to have done a NIP test before. I’ll do one around 11 weeks. I had a loss in December and told them early about being pregnant and I’m not sure I can face them feeling sorry for me again if I end up losing it. I probably would tell them if I lost the pregnancy again though so maybe I should just tell them, I can’t decide! I’ve told a few of my closest friends and that helps as I can talk to them about it.
